Just to let everyone know The Price is Right had a prime-time version that lasted only a few years which is why Tom was the host. Also the rule for Punch-A-Bunch is that if one of your punches happens to be one of the two that has a $10,000 slip in it the game is automatically over and you win, it's an automatic win. Hence the intro being you could win UP to $10,000! Today it is up to $25,000 and I think there is only one slip that is $25K, but there are still two $10K slips. Unlike before, you could give up the $10K to go for the $25K, but you would be an idiot if you gave that up.
No more free punches nowadays. The 52nd episode & hereafter from Glendale, CA will have 9 each of $100, $250, $500 & $1,000; 7 of $2,500; 4 of $5K; 2 of $10K and one $25K.
It's called Punch-a-bunch, not punchboard. thats just the name of the device that has all the little cubby holes and slips of money inside. the whole game is called punch-a-bunch
I love how excited Tom Kennedy would get when contestants won BIG. He'd really get into it. The perfect Switcheroo is another one where you can tell he's really excited for the contestant.
Great reaction she had towards winning that$10,000! I would have done the same thing except I would have ran around while screaming! Lol.😂Congratulations!
My Grandfather didn't like the show unless it had BOB BARKER. I watched it sometimes anyway, but Bob really carried the show that bit extra.
RIP, Tom Kennedy.
I never thought of it before but Tom sounds so much like Bob
Bob should have sued Tom for stealing his voice.
this contestant qualifies as a Barker Beauty

"This game has a top prize of $10,000"
I like the way Diane caressed the prizes as she displays them.

Tom Kennedy Was A Wonderful Game Show Host!
I NEVER saw the "Second Chance" version of Punch A Bunch.

That happened 3 times when Bob Barker hosted The Price Is Right as well.
Tom did a good job as the host
