Hi! I tried the Saie blush, and it lasted for 60 seconds. No more Saie for me. This is so valuable to me, because as a relative newby, I always think I'm doing it wrong. Nope, sometimes it's really the product. I love, love makeup. Couldn't wear it in years past because I was a run out the door type and never thought about it. Now, at age 69 and retired, I'm starting to have some serious fun! Your videos have taught me so much, and I really admire your talent and passion. Thank you, Nikki! Love, Lili
Agreed especially in regards to saie!! I was in Sephora and was recommended their loose powder for my dehydrated skin.. this was not only expensive but it was ok at best no blurring or staying power. Not what I need when I work 12 hours per shift but the kicker was the amount of powder in the package.. it's like half the size and the same amount as my Laura mercier or CT.. it's no Saie for me
Thank you thank you *THANK YOU* for talking about products that lift the makeup underneath. IDK why nobody talks about this. You could have the most _phenomenal_ formula but if it's going to lift what I already laid down, it's a no.
I am so grateful for this video and my respect for you has skyrocketed. I am allergic to literally everything so when I find makeup that I am not allergic to, it's usually at least double the price (despite having less ingredients). While you only reviewed a few of the ones I can buy, that is saving me money in the long run. If you see this comment, thank you so much for valuing your subscribers more than the brand deals. I genuinely thought you reviewed once and that was it, so to see that you actually try PR more than what we see, overjoys me as a supporter. Much love to you.

Thank you so much for mentioning fragrance, as a migraine sufferer sometimes these strong products can feel like a slap round the head! Most appreciated 🙏
Omg the Saie skin tint is absolutely my holy grail! My mom and I (she is 78 I am 53) have so many allergies, eczema, sensitive, and very dry mature skin. This gives us the added moisture on top of our moisturizer. It looks so natural and doesn't sit in fine lines. Seriously can't live without it!
Your deep investigations into all these products are stunning. I cannot thank you enough for all your expertise to which I bow down. You are such a treasure. AWESOME VIDEO.
You're saving people A LOT of money by being honest on these product's performances. I value your opinion. There are so many products that are over hyped!
Nikki...thank you, thank you, thank you! Unfortunately, I fell victim to quite a few of these products (influenced by others): Bare Minerals foundation, Nars liquid blush, Sweed powder and WA and Saie concealers. I was thinking it was just me...that I must be doing something wrong, because they just weren't working. So thanks for your honesty. My recycle bin just filled up!❣
I have to say I love the slip tint by Saie. But here’s why… I have dry maturing skin and live in a very dry climate. Also I use this for casual everyday wear when I might have just blush, mascara, and a lip on. Lastly I have medium-light warm-neutral skin tone, it’s shocking how hard it is to find a good color match. They often run to yellow/orange or pink. With this skin tint I have found one of my best color matches. So on me it feels hydrating and looks so natural. I do love these reviews and have found so much good makeup because of your videos ❤
This is the first time I came across your channel and this is the first time in so long that I sat down and listened to a long form content from beginning to end and loving it. I subscribed right away you are my new favourite beauty girl ☺️😘

Makeup companies are ripping us off big time with all this gimmicky stuff. Time to go back to basics for sure .
This was fun for me! I never get to watch You Tube but I’m cleaning my studio and PR piles and played this while working. Agree with so much! Wanted to note that Naked Sundays Beautyscreen is probably my TOP pick of the year! Of course I’m 57 and normal to dry but it gives me the most gorgeous complexion. I use shade 2❤
And PS- Sisely concealer is the WORST purchase of my life! Hate it! Not good on me, not good on clients. Terrible shades, well over $100, so blah. Does nothing. Drugstore is better

Hi Nikki, thank you for your honesty about these products and for letting us know not to waste our money or time buying them. But the other reason why I liked this video is because you didn’t hold anything back about even the brands that you do like i.e. Danessa Myricks, Make Up by Mario, etc., those particular products still made your Worse Make Up List for 2024. Great video! I really like hearing about products that influencers genuinely don’t like (as well as the ones they do) bc it definitely saves me some $$. Thank you for spending your money so we don’t have to. There were a couple of products that I am able to use and they work for me but my skin is opposite yours. I have more mature dry skin. Nothing oily at all about my skin. After watching this I actually took a couple things OFF my makeup wishlist. I hope you have a very happy and healthy New Year! 🎊🥳🎈

I think the great to remember that make-up is very personal - how it works will depend on your skin type, age, how you use it. It’s great to have advice like this, but it’s even better to test products out yourself 😊
@@ASchetzer I understand but I do not agree. These are products, they can be reviewed objectively. Makeup is a luxury, so having an opinion in advance helps tons, especially when you are buying them online. Not everyone has money to test all products.

Appreciate the honest brutal comments & reasons why these products didn’t work. You look beautiful Nikki & I wish you had told us what you used for your make up today, especially your eyes - stunning eye look ❤
Oh Nikki, I was rolling through some of these. "They should've marked this as a magic eraser because proof it's gone!" But, I do LOVE the Merit complexion stick. I think it is super emollient and wonderful. I use the BK beauty 101 foundation brush with it and it is chefs kiss perfect. I used it today. In fact my skin is going through a terrible period of dry patches and sensitivity. It's almost the only thing I can use at the moment in terms of a complexion product on unsensitized skin
Thank you for this set of critical reviews. Getting duds is such a joy-sucker, so I appreciate the cautionary takes! With regard to the liquid eyeliner spreading, the term you were describing is "capillary action". Now you know there's a name for that! 😮 💕
Nikki thank you!! This is so helpful! Also as always your makeup is stunning in this video-that eyeshadow😍 can we get a tutorial maybe? And perhaps your current favorites/most reached for products?
29:57 I love the WE Concealer!!!! The Natasha D was crackly dry as a bone on me the WE is plumping and smoothing and flawless!!! So is the Tarte creamy creaseless and tower 28! Finally found some I can use 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
This is priceless. We usually get influenced to $$ and don’t really get info. on what not to buy and why not. This is extremely helpful and coming from you ❤ thank you 😊
I actually love those Chantecaille single eyeshadows. I bought every shade in that line, and they are the most used eyeshadows for me this year. The formula reminds me a lot of the Japanese eyeshadows (specifically the Lunasol eyeshadows), they show up very well on me, long-lasting and blend easily too.
I get the frustration on the YSL lavender blush because they misrepresented the shade on people's skin. However, im super pale & that works for me. I love a purple blush but most are too dark.
Totally see how it would be gorgeous on fair skin- but like you said, it was the misrepresentation and marketing that landed that product on this list 😮
Appreciate that you did this video, we need more of these! Sometimes I watch faves and then go to the store and buy a similar product for example makeup by mario blush. In my head you’ve mentioned you love the blush and then maybe due to color I buy a slightly different formula like the plumping cream (because I have dry skin). But you really liked the soft pop powder.
My worst purchase of 2024: the much loved Victoria Beckham eyeliner which is much too slippy and creamy for my eyes..it's a mess on me and goes everywhere...back to Pat McGrath or Urban Decay for colors that stay put and i can be intentional with!
Thanks for sharing! I’ve been wondering about the VB eyeliners. I love the UD eyeliners and I also swear by the Lancôme eyeliners. They are budge proof on my oily lids- they last even better than UD on me.
I have oily lids and was wondering about these ? All eye liners will smudge on me as the oil comes thru and breaks the product down. Do you use a eye primer ? Would that hell ? Otherwise will have to skip !
I agree with you big time on the Elf Dewy Setting Spray. I got so excited when I saw that stuff on an end cap at Target, but it was one of the worst things I've EVER bought! I'm so glad it was inexpensive, because otherwise I would have been really upset!
some of these products are actually great depending on the aesthetic you're going for. I enjoy Nikki's vibe, but I'm mostly going for different looks aesthetically, so I actually enjoy quite a few of the products mentioned
Hi, you really caught my attention. I subscribe to many makeup artists and just found you and was reeled in hook, line and sinker. The comments I want to make: it surprised me how many Sisley products didn't perform, especially for the price. I'm retired now and I still love skin care and makeup and like to experiment. When I had more discretionary income when I worked, I used La Prairie and have to say, I was never, ever disappointed. I not only used the skin care when it was slightly less expensive, but I used any of the makeup they developed. That foundation you held would have performed forever. I probably could have left it on for two days, but I don't have to worry about that now. I can use that money to buy food. Glad to meet you!!!
I agree with you on so many of these products! Including the Makeup By Mario blushes and Elf powder. Didn't work for me! Thank you for this candid review!! 🎉
I knew I didn’t like the Elf Halo Glow and for some reason I kept hanging on to it thinking I just need to keep trying it. After watching this I finally decluttered it!
@@GOTkristin she said she likes the ELF halo glow (the CT dupe), by no means am I saying that you should like it. We definitely need to toss what doesn’t work, my trash can got its fill the other day 😂
38:47 “they should have branded it as a magic eraser” got me laughing out loud!!!! Also, so glad you mentioned the elf setting spray. I’ve been using it for weeks and kept thinking I really can’t see any difference? I’ll get the Milani one next time!

This video is great. There were definitely products I've had my eye on and now will not waste my money. More importantly, I LOVE your makeup in this video! Are they listed anywhere? You look beautiful!
I watch your videos so much that my baby smiles whenever he sees you on our tv lol ❤
This is what I love! I want to hear all the tea on some of these "viral" products.
Thank you for this set of critical reviews. Getting duds is such a joy-sucker, so I appreciate the cautionary takes! With regard to the liquid eyeliner spreading, the term you were describing is "capillary action". Now you know there's a name for that! 😮 💕
This video is so refreshing and helpful. I think it was done in the most respectful way as well!
THIS!!! This is why I subscribed to Nikki. The honest truth!
Nikki thank you!! This is so helpful! Also as always your makeup is stunning in this video-that eyeshadow😍 can we get a tutorial maybe? And perhaps your current favorites/most reached for products?
Half listening and half just admiring your makeup look here! ❤
Thank you Nikki for sharing “ The Worst Makeups for 2024. I value your honesty and in saving us a lot of $$$$. Enjoy your wkend.
Hey Nikki! Love your videos! The worst I tried is the Hourglass cream eyeshadow sticks. They are HORRIBLE, have no pay off and don’t last.
This is priceless. We usually get influenced to $$ and don’t really get info. on what not to buy and why not. This is extremely helpful and coming from you ❤ thank you 😊
Definitely want to know what to avoid, thank your for your content Nikki, fun and useful, trust your opinion always ❤
@latifa1020 same for me! I get raccoon eyes!
@@lvvl1005Lancôme is an og of mine they have some great products but they're unfortunately not cruelty free
@@latifa1020 thank you for letting us know because I’ve been thinking so much about their copper/bronzy one!!!
I have oily lids and was wondering about these ? All eye liners will smudge on me as the oil comes thru and breaks the product down. Do you use a eye primer ? Would that hell ? Otherwise will have to skip !
Love a truthful, honest review. ❤
I cried laughing over the sound effects!! Thanks for being so honest about these products…it’s much appreciated, Nikki!!
Thanks for going over these again. I disagree on a few of them but your observations are spot on! This was fun ❤
😂😂😂 Love your unapologetic honesty! Very entertaining
Haha finally someone being super honest about these products. Lol love it
Love this video - and how you are very graceful in your critiques.
Appreciate your honesty….thank you❤
Absolutely! And thank you for watching !!
We definitely need to toss what doesn’t work, my trash can got its fill the other day 😂
I like the Loreal Glotion, it's been on the market for like 10 yr and has 4 or 5 colors.
She said elf halo glow is great , not the Dior
@@stacyketner I like that one also!
@@jenniferbower6286 oh I’m referring to the powder she mentioned at 3:50! I also like the CT dupe.
I literally listen to you because you have the greatest skin I've ever seen.
I don’t agree omg I love the Sephora micro smooth !!! Try it again 😊😊😊😊 lol but thanks for your honestly love it
38:47 “they should have branded it as a magic eraser” got me laughing out loud!!!!
Also, so glad you mentioned the elf setting spray. I’ve been using it for weeks and kept thinking I really can’t see any difference? I’ll get the Milani one next time!
Dear Nikki. Thank you so much for all the work you are doing for us, so we don't make similar mistakes and waste our money. You're the best ❤❤
Have a very nice weekend. My very best regards ❤❤
I appreciate you being honest. I have rosacea and if and I spent the time and money into makeup that had horrible coverage, I would be crushed. Much love !
Nikki La Rose for President. You are a woman for the people for putting this video out and that’s why you’re the BEST ❤
I just love you Nikki! You tell it like it is and I find your videos so informative and entertaining! No dusty crusty eyeshadows in my future... Thank you for your honesty!
4:21 wow I've got an old Sephora microsmooth baked powder, maybe ten years old. Still have it, Love it
@@TheFaro2011 Same! It’s been a repurchase since 2017. Wonder if they reformulated.
@MindyLouMakeup this came up in my replay! Came back to defend, turns out I already have! It's nothing like how she described! 😅😂 Shows how personal it is! Could be a reformulation?!
@@TheFaro2011 it did indeed get reformulated! i had the old formula and found it so natural but smoothing, and the new one is just so... dusty and made my skin texture look off..
Nikki you are fab. I love this video and I have seen so many of your videos. You are so great with helping us buy the right products our issues. In addition, I LOVE that you tell the truth about high and low end products.
