      Also keep in mind how he does the hardest part pushing down and not lifting up. He works smart too knows to finish at the bottom so he doesn't have to stretch the tire lifting up but rather pushing down with his body weight

      I'm half that size and I knock those out in the same time but its not as smooth lol. That being said, I know how hard of job he has. I just hope they pay him well bc he's doing what a lot of ppl can't.

    I changed tires for 15 years and know that he wasn't in a hurry! As smooth as he was working he could double his speed if he wanted to. At that speed he could change a lot of tires in a day and never get tired

    You have to give roadside a ton of respect. Not only is there job dangerous as hell. The guy that changed my drive tire got me back running after 25 min. Saved me from doing my reset on the side of a bad situation

      Yeah but you have to be careful with your spoon management, once got an ass bruise that was almost an obliterated testicle. I started making drivers hold the brakes for steer tires after that.

      Those tires can weigh in excess of 175 lb he was installing one a little smaller though I would say around 145 lbs still guys got some good energy throwing that much weight around

    I'm a tire technician and people should be marveling at this. Commercial and passenger are vastly different but this is a master. A good installer can do this in about 2 minutes once the vehicle is lifted.

      Isn't there an OSHA requirement that tires be inflated in a cage or with a clamp on device plus a clamp on air chuck? It's been 26 years since I changed a tire, but we were never trained to change tires that way.

      Did it for 16 years, got married and started a family. It can be exhausting especially when you have to break tire down, get it off the wheel then put new ones back on it. I did
      6 Michelin 20.8R42 on a Challenger Tractor a few years ago and was wore out. But I got the job done

    If you ever see this man as a bouncer at the club, be on your best behaviour, not that you ever shouldn’t be of course, but this man has that core strength that often gets over looked, it’s just years of building muscle, he made a very cumbersome task look almost effortless, barely broke a sweat

      trust me.... we have some strength (actual REAL WORLD strength)

      sure, you can train for YEARS to lift a 400 weight straight up and down
      .
      but the same guy cant lift 80 pounds side to side
      .
      .
      while "tire techs" can lift 300 pounds in any direction you want..... and then do another.... and another.... and another
      .
      .
      dont pick i fight with mechanics / tire techs...... you will lose (unless you train to fight.... not just lift weights in very specific cases/directions)

One of the Rig hands was trying to fuck with the tire guy , long story short tire guy and Rig hand went at it and let’s say the rig hand was dreaming about sheep’s for a few minutes 😂😅 he got suplex LOL 😂

    Knew a guy that did road side emergency truck tire changes on the side of major highways. He got his tire change done. He was literally screwing the air cap back on. Then the tire exploded. Sending him back 10 feet with broken ribs shoulder and collar bone. Luckily he survived.

    When you can change a tire quickly and not damage the wheels, that what I call a good tires changer. So might have the speed, but during the process would mess up or scratch the heck out of the wheels. This guy doing this pretty good. 👍

    I drove 7 miles up the road, found the truck, jacked up the trailer, took the wheel off, changed the tyre refitted the wheel , drove back the 7 miles, and I was no longer than an hour. This bloke was quick, but he did a more simple job.
    I forgot to mention, you can't do what he did with a tubed tyre ,the flange and lock ring would be jammed up against the inner wheel. So wheel the off ,is the only way.

      I did it a bunch over the years, but I have 80 pounds on you except when I was a kid. First tire change was a Dayton off a C70 dump truck. I didn't know you weren't supposed to take the lugnuts all the way off. And when I asked my dad how to remove the wedges he didn't realize I had not left the lugnuts on. "Hit them with a hammer." 12 years old, but it was a hard lesson.

      You can tell when he does the initial lift up - in one action rolls the tyre, and diverts that motion vertical using the bar.

      I was a tire technician for 5 years doing the exact same tires. I've seen 3 prior fired in 5 years for not removing and inspecting the rim
