  • @JAGUARHX
    @JAGUARHX 5 лет назад +4

    I'am Brazilian. I lived the complete phase of Transformers of the Estrela in the 80s and 90s. Two other national companies (MIMO and Glasslite) competed against Estrela with the toys of the Bandai franchise '' Go Bots \ Machine Robot '' , here in Brazil, were called "Mutantes" and "Converts". They have come to have original concepts and ''unauthorized\unique versions'': The super machine automobile K.I.T.T. ("Knight Riders' TV show") and the super urban combat helicopter Blue Thunder became Mutantes\Go-Bots. Glasslite was entitled to the ''Blue Thunder'' and ''Knight Rider'' (''Trovão Azul'' and ''Super Machine'' in Brazil) trademarks and made a repaint on two Go-Bots to make it a " the transformable versions'' of both super vehicles of the TV.
    ;P Very rare and expensive for collectors, today.
    Nowadays, in Brazil, Estrela has lost the partnership and rights to use the ''Transformers'' franchise from Hasbro. But it went on to distribute the '' Mutantes '' brand after the collapse of rival company Glasslite.
    A pity ... because Estrela Brinquedos was already the biggest maker and distributor of toys in Brazil for many years. And he had the right to use almost all Hasbro and Mattel toys.
    Important information: Optimus and Malignus were a joint creation of distributor of toys Star and the translators of the Brazilian version of comic books of the '' Transformers '': Editora Globo \ RGE. In this way logos were created for the two factions (Optimus and Malignus), as well as a totally national logo for '' Transformers '' from Estrela. Not to mention the national names that were the first version that Brazilian children had access to: Optimus Prime was called "Supreme Absolutus"; Bumblebee was ''Furão''' (portuguese of ''Ferret ''); Brawl was '' Brigão '' (Brawler); etc.
    Many of these names were not even literal translations of English names.
    But that turned out to be quite favorable for the lore of Transformers: From Transformers Animated, it was made official that Optimus and Malignus were two factions of Autobots and Decepticons that fell in Portugal many centuries ago. And the Portuguese language was influenced by these two factions and vice versa, because the history of the Portuguese Empire had secret participation of these cybertronianos at that time.
    And to explain the existence of so many 'repaints' of transformers who look like various heroes and villains of the franchise, it is said that cybertronians (who in the version of toys their molds are Takara-Tomy's mini-cars) like Bumblebee they use a 'popular' transtector body model ... that is, Bumblebee (and the mini-cars) are '' ordinary people '' in Cybertron's society. There are thousands of autobots or decepticons that look like Bumblebee. Among them are the ''brazilians of Estrela'' Furão, Volks and the ''portuguese'' Moscardo. Two transformers that turn into Volkswagen beetles. ;)
    Two re-concepted transformers from Brazil and Portugal.

    Do you think a crossover between Transformers and Nezha is first seen in recent years? Sadly I have to tell you in fact it is not true. In the 90s, after Transformers was imported to mainland of China, it immediately became an inspiration to bootleg comic book authors (it was like the whole country was making such illegal and stupid things lol), who tended to feature "crossovers" in their bootleg stories. For example, I still remember there was a "crossover" comic book between Contra and Transformers, and more often the case, a "crossover" between foreign cartoons (Transformers, Heman, Doraemon, Astro Boy, etc) and Chinese native cartoons (Calabash Brothers, Black Cat Detective, Monkey King, etc), so Nezha could no way escape from their hands. Actually I once read one exactly being a "crossover" between Transformers and Nezha when I was in elementary school. If I recall correctly, it was saying all Transformers were evil and they were to invade earth for energy. Then there was a scene Nezha fighting a Quintesson-like monster and an Optimus Prime-like robot was saying "Hang in there Thousand-faced Monster!"
    I know they were not canon but it was stupidly funny ok?

    Amazing. Take my mam's money hasbro, seeing any of these G2 versions years ago. There were baskets of G2 Optimus and Megatron. Friends had Trakkons, and the dark green jet, I had Sparkobots, Machine wars, even found a Beast Fighter I buried on the beach. Still have Fearswoop I still call Trakkon, Aquaspeeders and the Storm Troopers. Wasn't too dark a time, they were the dark times though.

    Quick note about the Rescue Force: Only _four_ of the SIX Breastforce members were released, and none of them came with accessories designed to help them combine.
    (The Constructicons, re-released in yellow the same year, also were retooled to include none of the Devastator parts/weapons or spring-loaded weapon features (Mixmaster). Kind of obvious, the Generation 2 Constructicons -- yellow and orange -- are based on the early 1990s U.K. Constructicons, with Devastator parts hastily re-added.)

    This is probably my favorite video of yours. A lot of the toys that you see from areas of the world I remember seeing as a kid at flea markets here in the U.S. and thinking they were knock offs. Wish I would have bought a lot of them and kept them in good shape, they seem like they be worth a pretty penny today. Especially when I saw the original Car Robots from the 80's that actually did the the tiny pilot figure with them.

    In the late 1980s, I went with my mom to visit family in Mexico. Before heading back home to the states, my mom wanted to buy me a toy at a local toy store. I distinctly remember having to decide between a Devastator 6 transformer set or Ironhide. Because my older brothers already had two Constructicons, I went with Ironhide. Even though I kick myself now for not getting the Devastator set, I had a lot of fun back then playing with Ironhide. He still sits on my shelf to this day.
