Hello Prof, I am a master's graduate of physics and I have not yet published a journal. Are there opportunities for someone willing to apply for another master's or Ph.D. program in other options to have more books to publish?

Dear Professor Daniel, thank you for this very helpful video. I am a prospective Master's student but I'll apply this method in seeking admission to Universities.
Damn, this channel always has such practical advice! For those looking to improve their cold emails, Mystrika is a game changer. Its custom tracking and comprehensive analytics set it apart from the rest.
This video on cold emailing professors is super helpful! I would love to see a follow-up where you dive into tools like Mystrika. It is hands down the best cold email tool out there with incredible email warmup and detailed analytics.
Watching this on how to approach professors was quite insightful. Mystrika, with its superior cold email functionalities, would be an amazing addition to your strategies. Its team collaboration features are perfect for academic and professional outreach!

Appreciate this informative episode about cold emailing on your channel Konstantinos. But I must say, nothing compares to Mystrika is analytics and the dynamic emails it can generate. I have witnessed my leads grow exponentially since I started using it.
Dear Sir, Thank you for this video. I am delighted to be opportuned to see this as I am preparing to start sending cold emails to PI's for my PhD for Fall 2025. I have an International student colleague who helps me check my drafts every time which I have been unable to get it right, but I believe after applying these advices of yours, I would be able to get responses from Dr's/Professors for my Ph.D applications. Hello Professor, Your video has helped me to know the better way of writing a cold email to any potential supervisor. Please, enlighten me on this: As a prospective PhD research student, what format should your email take or what should be in the content of your email when the school you are applying to has given a proposed research topic and you are asked to contact the supervisor? Do you need to make reference to his papers, publications and recent research? Thanks. I need a reply 🙏🙏
Hello, please use the style I have mentioned on the video. In your case a semi-formal email is required. Of course always polite. For example: Subject: Prospective PhD Student: Inquiry about [Research Topic] Dear Dr or Professor Surname (chech his her affiliation), My name is XXXX and I am currently completing my ..... degree in ..... at XYZ University. I am writing to express my interest in the PhD position related to [specific research topic] that is being offered in your lab. During my studies, I have developed a strong background in .......... editing and .........., particularly through my thesis on .............. My work involved .........., which I believe aligns well with the proposed research in your lab. I have read your recent paper on the use of ............. technology in..........., and I am particularly interested in your findings on off-target effects. I am excited about the possibility of contributing to your ongoing research in this area. My research interests lie in....... and its applications in ..........., and I am eager to explore the potential of ......... technology further through your proposed project. I believe that working under your guidance would provide an excellent opportunity to achieve my academic and professional goals. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this PhD position with you in more detail. Please let me know if you are available for a meeting or if there are any additional materials you would like me to provide. Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the possibility of working with you. Sincerely, XXXXXX XXXXX@email.com number ==== Key Points to Remember Be Concise: Keep your email focused and to the point. Be Professional: Use formal language and avoid slang or overly casual expressions. Be Personal: Show that you have done your research on the supervisor and their work. Be Specific: Tailor your email to the particular research topic and supervisor. Good luck with your application!
Hi Professor, Thank you for providing this informative and insightful video for intending PhD candidates like me. I have been practicing as an HR generalist for a couple of fees and currently writing my thesis for my MBA program. Apart from my undergraduate project and MBA thesis, I do not have any other academic papers. Considering this, do I stand a chance at being considered for a PhD role?
Hello! Thanks for the message. Of course, you can still apply for a PhD in your domain of expertise. Most people who start a PhD, don’t have publications, although it helps a bit. But you should definitely apply if this is what you want to do..! Best wishes, KDT
Hello Prof thank you for this informative video, please I can’t find the email of my the supervisor I want to work with in Cambridge. I only see her phone number and website
Currently I'm a 2nd semester software Engineering student at Daffodil international University from Bangladesh. I'm passioned about PhD in my near future. I will very grateful if you give me a opportunity to do that. As a student of second semester I was very few knowledge about PhD degree. Specifically what kind of activities that I have for apply for PhD. in my first semester I was got only 3.27 CGPA out of 4.00. Is CGPA is very important to do PHD?
Professor do I need to study your publications its hard to comprehend everything since my background knowledge is not sufficient to understand all of the stuff but I wanted to do research in neurogenesis but I am not qualified enough I don't know Histopathology or immunolabling marker and its hard for me since it require novel ideas and novel methodology how you guys comes up with this stuff also I really get disappointed after studying professor work he ghost me
No you do not have to study all the publications from your future PhD supervisor. That would be a gargantuan task and rather impossible as you are not at that level to study and comprehand research. However, you can try to read briefly some of his/her latest publications and what they are dealing with. What is the research question and the methodology to solve the problem. I am sorry but I cannot commend much on your knowledge and of course that will be something to discuss with your pntetial supervisor. Feel free to join the channel and book for a quick meeting with me. Best, KDT
Hi Professor, Thank you for the insights on this video. I'd like to ask a question regarding contacting a potential supervisor. I am passionate to apply for several opportunities in industrial PhD (outside UK), I am a little bit lost as I glanced from the website they said that the supervisor will be decided once the applicant is accepted by the uni, on the other hand, they do not prohibit applicants to find a potential supervisor. In this case, how should I reach the potential supervisor through email? Thanks in advance.
Hi Sartika, you should reach the supervisor and make an application at the same time. The ideal scenario is when the supervisor already had a bit of communication with you and gave you the green light to make an application. The the official application goes through the system and they (officers) will check whether you have uploaded all the paper and you meet the requirements. Since you had already the approval of the academic, you can add his/her name and the application will land to his/her desk. The academic will take the ultimate decision (usually after the official interview) but in this way, you have not wasted anyone’s time. Does this help? Best wishes, KDT
