- Larry mistakes either Moe or Curly as an enemy and whacks him on the head with a club.
He then runs away, then runs back and sees Moe/Curly, then tells him that he just knocked out an enemy.
Moe/Curly then describes himself when asking what the enemy was like.
After Larry responds "Yeah!" to all the descriptions, Moe/Curly says "That was me!"

Either way it is a win
Some of the props look surprisingly real. Even when the sound effects are a bit off it still looks like they hit each other with enough force to *make* it look real. They obviously had a lot of practice over the years.
What's even more impressive is when they slap each other. Very realistic. Slaps definitely required a lot of practice I bet.
It's said that Larry had calluses on his face from getting slapped so much over the years.

@@libertyforever4270 Oh, yes, but every time I look closely at Larry's face, I can't even see any calluses on either side; I can't even see any kind of scar on his forehead where he was stabbed with the quill pen in Heavenly Daze.
Larry hits Moe over the head with a 2×4, then chuckles as he runs around the stack of boxes.
"Hey, Moe, where were you? I just knocked a guy cold right here. He was on that side; I was on this side. Just as he bent over....."
Moe takes the 2×4 and raps Larry over the head with it. "Now you're right there." Now how can Larry mistake Moe for a bad guy, especially when he sees him getting up from the floor?
thats a vadueville thing, they had to slap hard so the people in the back can hear

True comedy at its very best the howards and fine family would be proud and laughing no one close to the 3 stooges your legacy of laughter and slapstick still continues on you may be gone but not forgotten still going strong god bless you knuckleheads keep the laughs love and appreciate you guys thanks you guys rock way to go ❤😂 Joe
