Why is Flatout 3 the WORST RATED Game in Steam History?

The current review score for Flatout 3 on Steam is 1.6/10! Being curious on why the user score is that low I went ahead and tried it out and the experience was..... unique to say the least.

I can't believe there's a dev team worse than Bugbear LMAO
ugh, I hated Flatout on PS2, barely a racing game and it's all just launching the driver from the car, great if that's your thing but I expected a racing game.....you know, you go fast and win?
I never had a positive opinion of Bugbear due to flatout being so gimmicky lol

Games like this are rated extra badly because it's destroying a legacy, in this case of 2 beloved games. Imagine an nfs game of this caliber, that series would never recover unlike flatout

no if a game like this caliber existed within the NFS franchise it'll just be scoffed off as the worst one and everyone will move on immediately. we've seen this happen with Undercover and to some extent 2015.
NFS already had way too many releases to be damaged by just a single dud
