THANK you for stressing the knee over toe alignment, and hips tucked. So many dancers try for 180 degrees with feet without the hip turnout and ruin their bodies.
A power band is a resistance band that is joined at the ends. I actually think she is using a resistance band, but because she ties a knot it kind of becomes a power band? I don't know :p but I have both, and they're both good to work your resistance, and you can always tie a knot at the ends to make it a power band
This happens to me too. It's very common in dancers. I went to the doctor and they told me its called snapping hip syndrome. I don't think it's something to worry about but it's always good to have it checked like I did.

In My studio we hold our heels and pull them up in point and also slightly push the knee without preassuring it. Then the in flexed foot holding our toes. Once you got the position hold it for at least 30 seconds.Do one leg at each time and take the leg to the side while doing it. I don’t know if I could explain it but they really helped me and I hope it helps u too.

The most simple stretch is to lay on your bed (on the Stomach) and let your shins Hang out there (if you don’t fill it after a few minutes then add ankle weights)

I have a suggestion for a video. Do a freeze dance challenge (but with ballet steps), with some of your students, and whoever loses has to do a dance in a blowup costume in public.
I have a question for the last exercise. Is there a particular reason why you need to keep the movement of your foot from a straight line position aligned of the foot aligned with your leg, to the fish line position, and back to straight line? What I mean is, wouldn't it be good to also strengthen your leg/feet muscles to go the other direction as well? I know it's not proper technique to sickle and it's not a line that we use as dancers, but isn't it still a good idea for the sake of avoiding muscle imbalance?
I think you do that so that your feet learn to “rest” and maintain using proper alignment instead of in a sickled position so that you can improve your ankle stability as well as your fished line. I’m not a professional though so take this with a grain of salt 😅
If arching the back is not what is right in ballet why do most dancers look like they are arching the back and not really the right posture of middle strength but arch of weight onto the back? Why is this happening so much and being accepted? Thanks to anyone that can explain this to me! Arch back ballet is not really as attractive as the correct version of proper posture.

Hi I’m a ballerina , and I know all these exercises are completely safe to do for your children to do , but I advise you to keep an eye on them at first to maintain balance , and their co-ordination. Just One question do they train ballet, or did they attend previous classes..??

Can you do a vid on how to get a slight hyperextention? Because my knees are very very bent, even if I straighten them as much as I can.
