You can really feel the sv boost at the end of your cast when compared to og sv. There is a spot where the old one still has brakes and falls gently in the water. The new boost you can feel it dial back and spin more freely at the end. They hit it out of the park!
I grabbed one of the SV Boost spools for my Steez A, and from what I’ve noticed is that it’s most controlled when you put almost no muscle into your cast. The USDM Zillion is on my to-buy list and I’ll probably put it on my power pitch Steez rod and it will be my universal power setup
How is the sensitivity of these reels, say if your fishing a chatterbait can you feel what’s happening with the lure. If you hit a weed or a rock. Can you feel it in the reel.
Sensitivity really isn't a main focus for manufacturers when designing a reel, however reels with an aluminum frame tend to transmit more feel than ones with a graphite frame. This reel's frame is aluminum
Both are outstanding reels. The Steez A TW has a few more unique features than the new Zillion, such as the free-floating spool which further aids in casting performance and reduction of backlash. Each reel is very unique - we recommend taking a look at each and seeing which features appeal to you most! www.omniafishing.com/p/daiwa-steez-tw-casting-reel www.omniafishing.com/p/daiwa-zillion-sv-tw

You didn’t even mention the clicking drag, hahaha. That is my favorite feature!!
Love mine. Paired on a levante tour versatile and I'm skipping 1/2 oz nichols spinnerbaits with size 4 willows.... for the hell of it just because lol
Sounds like an awesome combo!

How does this compare to a Steez A TW? Which would you get if you could only get one?
