Hey Everyone - The full track from me and KQuick is now available on the Maschine Masters mixtape. "LIGHTS GO OUT" Track 7 ->>> maschinemasters.com/product/on-the-spot-sessions-mixtape-vol-5/
its hard to build from scratch.... that studio is worth a lot more than most people can afford... they got softwares.. Then you gotta know mad other shits to even make a beat, After all that.. put together vocals, mix and master a final product that is recognized as a piece of music.. It takes time to actually know what you doing. Its not a video game or a TV show.. its WORK~!
This is true, but any software is available to anyone willing to search for it for free. Coming from a very large corporate mortgage company, you’d be surprised how many legitimate huge businesses pirate software to save money. Don’t ever let software hold you back. I’m not big into thievery, but sometimes the price on software feels like theft itself.
You guys should drop or reverse the "_____ producer makes a beat of the spot". I get that they have big names attached to their discography but I find it doesn't place the producers at the fore front
I feel ya, but Rhythm Roulette seems to get way more views than this series with some pretty obscure artists as well. Obviously Mass Appeal's got a dope budget to back it, but they also know that these types of videos appeal way more to beat makers, not Chris Brown fans lol
But the producers will come in front if there where comin a lot o people from all around tha world 2 listen to there sound,so its really ok ...namedroppin is so classic man ;-) PEACE
I just keep comming back to this video from time to time. I just love the vibe, two people who love music making music, no ego, no pride, just having a good time. Such an inspiration. :-) thank you!
Thanks for the comments y'all! The full mixed version dropping soon on Maschine Masters. I would love for y'all to see my full process in the studio so you can get even more of a feel of my sound. Maybe I'll put together a vlog series.
A producer doesn't just work on sound design, they work on vocals, sampling, mixing, mastering, making drums, there's a lot of different aspects on music production
As a multi instrumentalist, i must say, producing is the hardest instrument I’ve ever learned maybe apart from vocals, because you’re the final sonic say, you gotta be aurally aware to produce well
Been to this studio twice K is an amazing producer on the spot... my artist worked with him in Cali made like 10 diff beats on the spot nothing but fire every time
kryk Walters like I always say.... You can make $1 beats on million dollar equipment, but still make million dollar beats on $1 equipment...and vice versa. It all just depends on who is behing the equipment that's producing it.
5:07 Don't quantize your drums to the grid. Best advice a producer can give. Remember J Dilla, 9th Wonder, Pete Rock and the rest? Their beats sounded dope because of it. Great video by the way
Paco Music gives it that real feeling, a lot of beat makers quantize their tracks, doing that sounds too digital to me IMO... just groove with the beat..
Emilio Cedeno a lot if not most hip hop rap songs etc. that u gear on the radio are quantized ... something that's not.. old school music such as heartbreak hotel by Michael Jackson/the Jacksons.. that's a masterpiece right there.. big orchestra and it's all live.. check it out.. or try out can you feel it.. Jacksons again... and listen to the music... classic
There are a lot of things you do that I do, the way you build. Maybe it's just a human thing. Anyway, it's great to watch advanced musicians working together.
I really like seeing that... if they were some unknowns all kinds of flukes would be making comments a/b that studio sound proofing, ac in the window, no vocal booth blah blah.... lol talent makes the room.
These dudes were vibin off eachother. They should produce some more tracks together. Shit was fire!
William Beats They have, you probably just didn’t know it was them because Chris Brown’s name is slapped on it
Pls send me some old beats plz
shit was shit :)

Facts!
Not Thomas it's all about getting views

Gaetano DiNardi you are the man wish I had a producer with me putting live instruments
Smh,i need piano lessons. That shit make a major difference.
Word yo - just start learning and do it!
Gaetano
Is this track available ?
Learn some music theory on youtube too I think it helps a lot
piano is the god instrument , you cans just use basic chords no need to learn the whole thing unless you wanna play complete pieces
ChachiGivesZeroFucks thinking the same thing

Organic as hell. Love sessions like this. Collaborating spreads the butter
That's a super sayain guido right there
this type of feeling in the studio is what gets you back to the studio all the time
I always come back to this session for inspiration.
Well, that proves you don't need a fancy expensive studio.. just a laptop a DAW some samples a guitar and plugins.
It's amazing what you can do with such little equipment
It’s fine till you realize you need to mix and master stuff
@@johnyoung53 you can mix and master with some plugins wym?
I just keep comming back to this video from time to time. I just love the vibe, two people who love music making music, no ego, no pride, just having a good time. Such an inspiration. :-) thank you!
2022 still comming back.
2024! :-)

Are you the one in the studio?
@@lawsonhenry8312 Yes he is the one who produced this track.
Drums were terrible.
This is the type of shit that should be on trending. This is all raw talent.
I like this track!! now I understand why Chris Brown, J-Cole, Nelly, Jeremiah and Sebastian Kole!! uses his tracks!! wow!!!
They have some great chemistry
Vicious y'all!! Sheesh!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Plaques on the wall...speak volumes. .success is only in the eye of the beholder. .
This beat got Chris Browns name on it! He would kill this beat for real for real 🔥🔥🔥
nice real musicians for a change
I can do this without all that skill
A producer doesn't just work on sound design, they work on vocals, sampling, mixing, mastering, making drums, there's a lot of different aspects on music production
No you cant yo shit aint even half as good as this
yeah...using sample packs lmao
As a multi instrumentalist, i must say, producing is the hardest instrument I’ve ever learned maybe apart from vocals, because you’re the final sonic say, you gotta be aurally aware to produce well
This is awesome. Great producing chemistry
Awaiting video i have been looking up for

Gaetano where did u get the sample pack from?
Been to this studio twice K is an amazing producer on the spot... my artist worked with him in Cali made like 10 diff beats on the spot nothing but fire every time

I'm just starting FL studio. It IS hard but Everytime I learn something I feel it's worth it. Amazing what these machines and software can do
Now that’s how you compose a beat 🔥🔥🔥
Awesome video man. You guys look like you had fun and have a good work flow together 😎👍

Best one of the series. Hands down
Thanks bro definitely appreciate the love!
Appreciate that my brother! Good looks.
kryk Walters like I always say....
You can make $1 beats on million dollar equipment, but still make million dollar beats on $1 equipment...and vice versa.
It all just depends on who is behing the equipment that's producing it.
The Guitar got my Like, it was already Dope, i usually watch it all the way thru but when that Guitar had the Solo, man o man.
Appreciate that! I been playing for about 15 years so looks like my hard work paid off.
Gaetano hey, I just started learning piano, how long does it take to learn guitar. And does it matter what type you learn on. Thanks
Gaetano My dude putting in that work! Good shit my brass
My brass, thanks!
Ibukun Osidele you're never done learning. If you feel that you reached a certain ceiling or plateau, then you're doing it wrong.
5:07 Don't quantize your drums to the grid. Best advice a producer can give. Remember J Dilla, 9th Wonder, Pete Rock and the rest? Their beats sounded dope because of it. Great video by the way
If you do quantize, then add some groove (it doesn't fully quantize to the grid). Or quantize at a 1/64th or 1/128th, something really small.
Paco Music gives it that real feeling, a lot of beat makers quantize their tracks, doing that sounds too digital to me IMO... just groove with the beat..
yeah, always need the human feel...
+Emjay Davillier Can you point me to a song that quantizes and it sounds digital and something that sounds human like? Trying to figure all this out.
Jacksons again... and listen to the music... classic
That was some heat
