PRODUCERS NOTE: I think Imma go back to reason. Now that I look back when I started out on reasons...reasons had everything from strings to pianos that were clean and crispy as stock sounds barely any tweaking. I didn't even think about buying anything except for drum kits and maybe a few things here and there but I left reasons because AT THE TIME you couldnt use things like omnisphere in reasons and that kind of made their sounds sound behind..in my opinion there was that gray area where all reasons users just felt behind the curb especially if you did hip hip as good as the sounds were they were incomparable to a omnisphere or kontakt. But now that they are a legitimate DAW I warn every other DAW user there is no other DAW that is better. I've used FL, ableton and I currently rewire with logic and maschine BECAUSE I HAVE TO. In reasons you feel like you have more control from the get go and the workflow is a beast. My opinion though. The only weakness I see in reasons is the encoding...compared to other DAWS it does sound a bit thin but it's fixable.
I just bought the upgraded version of Reasons 10. This shit superb for the psychedelic producer. You can easily turn your music into an eXpErIeNcE. Lol

I agree Reason has come a very long way. And don't get me wrong, it is one of the best DAWs out, but It still has a long way to go. They have to go backwards to allow themselves to catch up with other DAWs.
What I'm sayin is they have all these ill instruments & dope sounds but Reason falls short in many basic editing and workflow features...that almost every other DAW out there has had for years now.
I enjoy Reason but I also rock FL & Reaper cuz I like the sample editing of Reaper better & the comps & eq quality of FL better than Reason.
