I'm pretty sure it's usually just lag. You always see it in situations like that where someone boosts back. On their end they just hit you before you boosted.
@@Squiddy00naw man, there is weirdness that happens. I have had people hit me WAAAAY OUT OF RANGE while I am standing and they boosted just out of range. Definite f up with the code or net code.
