@@EXAMELL you would be surprised how many people still know about RO, its a shame the game is on its way out though, had a lot of fun with it growing up.
@@EXAMELL 10 years ago it was very alive I think, right now its barely hanging there, since we in Europe lost access to iRO the population got even more scattered, but I get you.
You're videos are not only as beautiful as the day I first saw your guntank video but are getting alot better to say the least! I hope to catch one of ya streams one day!
Messala and Baund Doc on your mind, eh? I wish I had the Xeku type 2 so I could Gatling on people. That's my thing, man. I am happy to not have The O though. I don't want to join the stupid melee hell of 650. Also, open question to anyone here. The game caps defenses at 50%. If my mathematics are correct then any other damage reduction would suffer from diminished returns. Basically if you're at 50% of an attack and your part takes 20%, that area actually only takes 60% of the damage. Would ya'll prefer an increase to part resistance, as well as a skill to add extra resistance to certain *THICC* suits like The O or the FAZZ, or prefer to build up to 75% damage reduction from parts and stuff? I ask because if we hit 700 and 750 at any point, almost every suit basically will be at the 50% cap all the time. Which means damage reduction is meaningless and the true value becomes your health bar. And as we all know, some suits are only tanky because of an advantage through damage reduction, not actual HP.
i like melee fight so i quite enjoyed playing 650 lul but now hyaku-shiki kai is destroying it. it's tanky and high dmg that killing every general MS easily. "extra resistance" means parts like special leg armor? imo it's not necessary in 550 or above. even u didnt take special leg armor, ur leg seldom break. i would build high cost MS parts in following order : 1. special requirement (like Ex-S need auxiliary generator) 2. dmg reduction 3. hp 4. dmg buff 5. extra resistance
@@EXAMELL Well special part buffers provide the damage reduction, but special part armors provide a change to an HP distribution in your mobile suit. The armors will make the enemy require to do more damage to one of three regions (head, back, legs) in order to break the parts. They don't make you take less damage though, and I don't think there are items that do that outside of the ballistic, beam and melee resistance boosts. Extra resistance that I'm refering to would be like a part buffer. I was thinking maybe it could be a special skill for suits of certain sizes, a minor amount of extra damage reduction. If I remember my numbers then you would not want to make it too bloated but if it stopped somewhere like 20% then once all the damage reduction is applied it might actually only have reduced the total damage by 5% in the grand scheme of the calculations. So in the case of something like a Doven, I think he has a back buffer, so... 50% then 10% then 10% of let's say 100 would be... 50, 45, 41(rounded). That's the kind of thing I was wondering about. I double checked these things and for some reason I usually always reduce the number by roughly the same amount regardless of which reduction comes first. Like for here, if I did the 10s first then I'd end up around 41 again. Anyways, the idea was to be more like a band aid. There's real limitations to the system, so I was asking to see if anyone else was thinking about it yet.
@@TheKing-qz9wd I understand your concern, with the current stat limitation, I think we can only go as far as 700 or maybe 750 cost max. But I disagree with your idea of increasing more damage reduction. If you increase further damage reduction, offensive damage modifier parts will become obselete. Take 100 base damage multiply by enemy defenses (say 50, no body parts damage reduction) multiply by your offensive parts (say range mod 1-4 + base modifier of 50 = 74 range). So 100x0.5x1.74= 87 damage received by the enemy. He uses only 1 beam defense (+20), while you use 4 range parts (+24) but still you can't achieve your weapon's base damage of 100. And that still doesn't take into account body damage reduction, skills like maneuver armor etc. So IMO it's better for everyone getting 50 defense easily and start focusing on offense rather than increasing more defense with damage reduction parts and makes everybody a bullet sponge.
@@Psych0100 That honestly should not be possible. The damage as far as I remember was calculated as a total first, so as you'd say with your example, 174, and then we apply the reduction. That would mean in some or several cases a suit is not really fighting to pierce a target's defenses, as in it cannot do its base damage, but fighting to overcome it, as in do a lot more than that. I have a Quebeley MK2 and it is at 50 melee right now, which should mean I should always see the base damage in my melee attacks 90% of the time. I did a bit of testing, mostly on the Psyco Gundam, and that's usually what I saw. Now even in saying this my brain is thinking "wait but wouldn't an order like that equate to 75% instead of the indicated base" but I dunno, I could be wrong. I'm not a programmer or a Dev, I'm just asking. To be fair as things stand currently, everyone in game is a bullet sponge except when FAZZ or something blasts it with the BFG. The only things I know of in game who die quickly outside of that are when Raids melee a Support. That's 3 seconds and you're dead sometimes. All total, I'd say we could consider this. There might be a work around if things get too far out of hand.
@@TheKing-qz9wd I created an Excel sheet on how the damage calculation is done after seeing your question and also to understand why a lot of good players prefer tank build rather than damage build. To put it simply, 1 defense points = 2 attack points. So if the enemy has 50 melee defense, you'll have to have 100 melee in order to break even and deal the weapon base damage. At 650 the offense vs def stats is out of the question because you can put tons of good defense parts (+15, +20) but are still limited to lv 1-4 attack parts (max +24). In order to really do damage to the enemy, you need a high base damage weapon. That's why FA Hyaku Shiki is so good because every weapon does 2500 - 2900 base damage. As for why you say QB II still does decent damage, not many people max out their melee def. And as for why FAZZ is almost one shotable is because it practically has 0 mel def, so you need 0 melee to do base damage (not counting class advantage), and the tri saber does 2k+ base damage. Take into factor downswing, class advantage and your stat modifier that's why you'll do whooping damage. P.S. Are you in reddit? Because I only know 1 guy who uses the term bfg and it isn't really a common term either
Dude We've missed U. Also love your Contents
Love it. I don’t know why people say the O is under powered
Because of the Supports.

I think the highlight of this video is translating "oroka na yatsu" as "stupid asshole." For how stupid it seems, it's... actually pretty accurate.
I may be guilty of Zeta’s long Ice Rod Therapy
Great video as always!! @ 3:44 was the "meta tank build " for The O or the Xekueins?
both lul starting from 500cost, most general ms will go tank build
