  • In this episode, we dive into a crucial issue affecting Bengaluru, the heart of India’s IT sector. For decades, Bengaluru has been a global tech hub, but now it's facing a significant challenge: the outsourcing of Indian IT jobs to Southeast Asian countries like Vietnam.
    American tech companies are increasingly turning to Vietnam for IT outsourcing, leading to a dramatic shift in the industry. Why is this happening? What does this mean for India's IT dream? How are Indian tech professionals being impacted? And why is Vietnam emerging as a new destination for IT outsourcing?
    Join us as we explore these questions, examine the factors driving this shift, and reflect on what India can do to reclaim its position as a global tech leader. We’ll look at the history of India’s IT boom, the rise of Vietnam as a competitive player, and the implications for the future of tech jobs in India.

    India should give more priority on production than IT.
    IT work can be done anywhere so it's easy to replace the locations.
    Inida even need to focus more on agriculture and business than IT race.
    As of now the supply is high but demand is very less. For a single job vacancy thousands of aspirants. This would impact even on salary packages and companies can taken for granted.
    Wake up educated youngsters try to control the population as well as give preference to agriculture and raise voice against government inflations.

      Agriculture can be a highly profitable business if we incorporate enough innovation. By learning from advanced nations, setting up processing units, handling exports ourselves, and so on, we can unlock significant potential. It just requires dedicated research and study. The challenge lies in the fact that India’s engineering, tech , and education standards often fall short when compared to those of the UK, Europe, America, Israel, Japan, South Korea, and China. While India produces a large number of engineers and in IT the overall quality, knowledge, and standards of these professionals do not consistently match those of their counterparts in the aforementioned countries.

    • @gurdeepsingh2837
      @gurdeepsingh2837 2 месяца назад

      That could be true. However, freelancing or remote work often prioritizes quantity over quality, providing what foreign clients perceive as more value for their money. In my opinion, they're often more interested in cheap labor than in high-quality work when they outsource. Essentially, it’s just a "jugaad" that works for them that allows them to spend as little as possible while saving as much as possible.
