I think adding grommets and lacing the sleeves so they have a bow on the side would look really nice too. I picture like a matching color ribbon to the hoodie 🎀🎀
Saw the problem with only having one spool of the color thread that you need. When I have this problem I will create a bobbin with my thread. I then use this as my second spool of the same color thread.
I don't sew. Unless it's pillow or curtains, you know straight simple stitches. BUT, I am obsessed with this channel, and the projects you create. Your enthusiasm, the way you explain your process, show the steps, and entertain as you do it...makes me want to be more creative. AND, this upcycle is the cutest!
I love how you are out there with your clothing. You are in a league of you own . You are truly unique.Loving it all and please continue doing you . Thank you and God bless you
I love this series! So creative and fun to pick and choose. Of course I’ve watched them ALL!! Please do more! BRB while I go dig out all my hoodies!! ❤️
I think if you cut it a little higher, you would have avoided the gaping situation but you were really determined with keeping the graphic and you made it work. You really are such a problem solver. I love the way you think! Looks so cool
You could gather the sleeves if you want, but I think it looks super cute just the way it is! ❤️ I love the style and I'm just thinking if I could do something similar with my old hoodies. 😊
I am so glad I found your tutorials. I have 3 girls still at home that are in 4H and do fabric and fashion. I LOVE to upcycle as my 'technical' sewing skills and pattern following are lacking at best. We have been looking at sewing projects they can do fairly quickly and without much 'outside' help as we don't have 'official' instructors. Your tutorials are amazing and they are going to attempt to tackle some of them. They are 12, 13, and 15. (PS I am gonna do some for myself as well. ) :)
Thank you sew much!! I loved how you added - dont expect it to look like the orginal- I think that stops uis from continuing the journery if it dont come ut just right-for the part about hidding the bra- The extra strp really looks like it was part of the orginal.- I am a 42dd and cant do without a bra. So proud of you my little sewingsista.
I really like your videos because even if someone isn't a fan of the finished product, you still present some really cool ideas and techniques. That, and the energy you bring to your videos is just so awesome.
This video is EVERYTHING. Last year, I gave away a sweatshirt, I can't even remember why, but I didn't want to let it go. Now, I'm regretting it even more. Thanks, Angelina. On a non graphic sweatshirt, I would go higher on my breast, but I would have wanted to keep the "hustle" graphic, as well. BUT, I will be adding a griphic to mine. The whole dress idea is driving me crazy. I want it.
The idea is so awesome wanted to try this soon when I already have my sewing machine. Hope someone will give me this Christmas, really wanted start my journey in sewing 🤗😊
Omg this was so cute and simply perfect!! I think this is my second favorite of the series. Now for my review: WHY HAVEN’T YOU DONE THIS SOONER 😍😍😍 Yes, we need more series like this with EVERYTHING!!
My sister turned me on to your channel, because she’s watched me play around with and destroy so many pieces of fabric and clothing in the last year or so....trying to recycle clothing .......upcycle. I’m absolutely obsessed with you and your upcycles....Never been one to step out so bold, but I’ve always been my own person. Recently retired I’ve been feeling inspired and bold moves in sewing and wearable artwork is what i call myself doing but your tutorials make it all make sense. Ive been sewing since i was a kid my mom, and aunt were my first teachers, then that same aunt was my home economics teacher in school. Sorry for rambling...BUT thanks!!!
Hmmmm, you really did well on fixing what my major concerns were when you first model it but I prefer the sleeves not to drape so low on the arms to the elbow. So I would have to tighten the shoulder space. I like what you did with the double needle on the sewing machine, a very professional finishing. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.
Love, love, love this one!!! I don't have a hoodie. However, I really think this idea would work well with a regular sweat shirt, too. So much inspiration!! Thank you! ❤️
I can honestly say you are the first youtuber who DIDN'T annoy tf outta me by babbling on & on & on with a ridiculously detailed account of when/why/how they made their video 🤦♀️😂.... and even if you had babbled on & on I'd probably still like ya cause your skills are on point & I love your personality!! Thanks for the awesome tutorials! Keep em coming & don't ever change! You a baddie! 😜👊🏼💯🤓
I love all 4 ideas. I love watching all of your videos. You give me so much to work with. I'm not on Facebook, so I have to catch you on the Tube. 😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄
I just watched all 4 videos and I just have to say that this is my FAVORITE one! I think I'll do the 2nd cut you showed instead of the "boxy" one ❤️ this is legit the easiest up cycle
loooooveloove this!!!! I was thinking the side panel....looks awesome!!!!! you are inspiring me to try upcycling......and thanks sooo much for saying "don't expect this to be exactly like the imspo". tytyty....i tried an upcycle once....lol. now i may try again.....
I love, love this Angelina! This is fabulous... I will be trying it myself thank you so much for the inspiration and the tutorial! Also, thank you for speaking on “age appropriate fashion” . I am 54 and feel that I could comfortably ROCK many of the up cycles you have shown, so I really appreciate that there are no limits in terms of fashion versus age.... thank you, thank you, thank you for stating your opinion!
I can't pick a favorite of the 4 designs. I love them all. This 1 is great but I think, since I freeze @ the drop of a hat, 2 bring the shoulders up a little higher & make the gap under the arm a little tighter. I agree that I really like the inspiration piece but I LOVE ur upcycled design so much more❣ When r u gonna do more garments in these type of upcycles? I can't wait 2 c them! 💗
Love this one, too! I think I might try this with a sweatshirt that I messed up with. Do you think there would be an issue with the sides if the shirts were more similar in size? Also, can you share the link of the sewn version of the two-toned hoodie? Thanks!
Is there enough of the turquoise to add to the bottom of the grey so you could wear it as a dress? Or maybe use an additional fabric to sew to the first part of the turquoise and then sew on the bottom of the turquoise. I remembered the grey is much larger and the circumferences wouldn’t line up.
I love your ideas and creativity. However, I'm not sure why you don't use your merrow/babylock machine on most of your knits and some of your DIY projects. Even on your exposed seam edge the serger thread would look nice Keep the art coming.
I just love her, love the vibe, loveeeeeee the upcycles, love everything about this whole channel🥺❤️❤️
Thanks so much!! 🤗💕❤️
Same here. I'm long time subscriber and I'm so happy for her. I wish all of her stuff would go viral, coz it should 👌🥰
@@Smilebefine Agreed💯
I love her vibe too, She has so much energy
👍👍👍👍
I like the idea of pinching in the sides, however, i think that adding a panel underneath would provide more comfort.
The turquoise really pops with the grey! I'm so glad you kept the sleeves poufy and oversized.
Thank you!! 😊💕
I think adding grommets and lacing the sleeves so they have a bow on the side would look really nice too. I picture like a matching color ribbon to the hoodie 🎀🎀
Love that idea! ❤️
I just bought my sewing machine at first I’m only thinking small projects but now I’m obsessed with upcycle videos
This upcycle is "legally" the cutest thing ever!! So chic and definitely a custom piece. Love your channel 💜
😆 Thank you!!
I’m a beginner sewer, thanks for teaching me about the double needle option.
I would like mine to be a more like a dress.enjoyed the video.now off to another one
I really liked this one more than I thought I would. The thought of it being a dress, is really cool. Great work!
Thanks so much!! 😁
Saw the problem with only having one spool of the color thread that you need. When I have this problem I will create a bobbin with my thread. I then use this as my second spool of the same color thread.
Great tip! Thanks!
I love the works she creates. Ive used so many of her ideas on smaller scales for my kids.
Yayyy 💕
Three people didn't like this?!?!?!? It is awesome!!! She's so creative and talented. I'm jealous. LOL
I don't sew. Unless it's pillow or curtains, you know straight simple stitches.
BUT, I am obsessed with this channel, and the projects you create. Your enthusiasm, the way you explain your process, show the steps, and entertain as you do it...makes me want to be more creative.

It's cool. It's trendy. It's new. I love it.
As usual, bringing us easy-peasy projects. Yes. Time to "raid the closets and drawers!"
I love this series! So creative and fun to pick and choose. Of course I’ve watched them ALL!! Please do more! BRB while I go dig out all my hoodies!! ❤️
I'm loving the look and the color combination.
I really appreciate the process you go through and how you stop miss way just to give some insights
Thank you!! 🤗
You are a true artist, so creative, I’m going to try to do something like that, instead of throwing away clothes. Thanks for the inspiration.
Haha, your Excitement over making this hoodie makes me want to make my own hoodie!
I love how you are using the twin needle. I absolutely love it when hemming stretch fabrics.
Yes, I can't believe I'm just now learning about them! 😆 Where have I been?!
It looks super professional. My first time seeing it.
I absolutely love this idea! My son is very unique & loves trendy he loves fashion and I thing he will definitely love 💗 this hoodie
I think if you cut it a little higher, you would have avoided the gaping situation but you were really determined with keeping the graphic and you made it work. You really are such a problem solver. I love the way you think! Looks so cool

I love the style and I'm just thinking if I could do something similar with my old hoodies. 😊
Thanks so much!! 😁
This concept is soo amazing! Btw I love your DIYs
I love this
Thank you!! 😊💕
Fitted over bustline enhances figure of wearer to good advantage. Good choice to finish edge at shoulder.
Gorgous as always! I would love to see a shacket made by you.😍

You drop 10 years without makeup. Love to binge watch your videos. Thanks.
Thank you!! 😊💕
Hey Angelina, I loved them all, I like the yellow one just a tad bit more! Lol. You know you can rock any outfit! Ms. Diva!!
Yaaaasssss!!!! I LITERALLY LOVE this one as well!! Now, I’m going to try this one. Thank you so much for your inspirational DIYs.
I would not have it so relaxed but love it
This video is EVERYTHING. Last year, I gave away a sweatshirt, I can't even remember why, but I didn't want to let it go. Now, I'm regretting it even more. Thanks, Angelina.

Super cute! I'm glad you added the panel under the arm. Love the color combo with the Hustle logo.

I respect her so much oh my god??? She’s so cool????
Hey Girl! My favorite was the no sew one! I’m not a hoodie fan but now I need to go thrifting and find some hoodies so I can try this.
Yayyy, I'm so glad! Thanks!
Me too. Love this
The idea is so awesome wanted to try this soon when I already have my sewing machine. Hope someone will give me this Christmas, really wanted start my journey in sewing 🤗😊
Don’t know how I missed this but I love it just the way you made it! I wouldn’t change a thing!
Thank you!! 😊💕
You sold me on purchasing a sewing machine. Phenomenal work Angelina!
New subscriber 💖
Omg this was so cute and simply perfect!! I think this is my second favorite of the series.
Now for my review:
WHY HAVEN’T YOU DONE THIS SOONER 😍😍😍
Yes, we need more series like this with EVERYTHING!!
That totally is 10 times 10 times 10 times better than the original. Your hoodie looks Bomb as Hell!!!😍😍😍😍
Oooh I love that the Fabricator made a guest appearance!! That is a gorgeous machine😍
This one and the and the sweater jumper are my fav
Thank you!! 😊💕
I like it loose with the bando or sports bra, but I love your end result!
Nice. I love that double needle hem. I have one and have never used it. I want to try one that’s wider. Ready for the next sweatshirt upcycle.
You did the thang! And your hustle game is on...🥰
My sister turned me on to your channel, because she’s watched me play around with and destroy so many pieces of fabric and clothing in the last year or so....trying to recycle clothing .......upcycle. Being a bit of a prude, I would add a panel as well to join the sides of the hooded sweatshirt. I'm going to try this for next autumn/winter.
Adding the fabric Incorporated the blue color. more
I realy like this piece. It is perfect for my wardrobe 🥰 and I want to try it.
I love the design and the concept of your sweatshirt may God continue to bless you your family and your Channel :-).
