I love that you openly share your mistakes. When sewing nothing is perfect and we often make mistakes and don’t talk about them!
Originally I didn't see the middle stripe in the inspiration so I expected the sweater and hoodie to be directly connected. This is really cute too though.
Instead of a zigzag stitch you can use the stretch stitch on your machine (on the strong and tough it’s the ss20, but on almost every sewing machine it’s symbolised as three lines of stitches.) I use it to construct all of my stretchy garments instead of the classic straight stitch and I actually prefer it over the zigzag because it’s straight and your seams lay much nicer this way. Also it is impossible to rip! You don’t have to use the twin needle to use it.
WHAT?! I learn something new everyday! Thanks so much!! 😁💕
I like this series I seen this had matching sweats can we see sweatpants series (one with sweat sweater )
I like those too!
I love when you show us the whole process mistakes included but show us how to correct it.. 💕💕
Yasss, yassss, YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! Thanks for always being transparent with hiccups, corrections, and frustrations. It inspires to keep going and normalizes the experience of mistakes. You rock!
Thanks so much for making it cool to share my mistakes! 😁 I don't feel so embarrassed among positive people.
I think the all grey one turned out super cute!! The blue one is cute too. Great upcycle!!
I agree; I like the gray!
Thanks so much!! 😁
this one was my favorite, but I'm watching all of them because they're such good ideas☺
Thanks so much!! 😁💕
I love the fact that all the mistakes are shown and corrected. Sometimes if you don’t know what you’ve done wrong it might just put you off sewing as you think you can’t do it. Love the end results! ✊🏾
Hahaha. Loved the Whitney insert! Loved the blue one, thanks for figuring this out for us 🤓
😂 Thank you Ms. Jacqui!
"i'm going for a jog even though i know i'm not *giggle*" ahhhh all your videos are so heartwarming!! it's the little jokes and laughs on top of the amazing and positive upcycling content for meeee
I agree that turning stuff inside out makes it easier! It's probably more accurate if you want a super fitted top and you're uneven on each side, but man is it tricky 😵
Thank you SO MUCH for showing that you still make mistakes. I am fairly new at sewing and I get so frustrated lol. I always think when I get a few years in that I won't make mistakes any more and that is not realistic lol.
Nope, I still make plenty of mistakes especially when I'm rushing (I rush way too much). 😂
The boldness in the way you cut your garments is inspiring!!!!
Thank you!! 😊💕
This is my favorite!!! That would be my quick jog to the kitchen to eat left overs before my next project!
Angelinaaaa! I am literally screaming “THAT IS SOO COOL!” at that end reveal!!
Thank you!! 😁
I LOVE the gray! I’m amazed at the high end designers incorporating the thumbhole feature into what I would consider career wear separates. I absolutely adore you.
Thank you!! 😊💕
I really want to see a hoodie dress/ sweater dress combo now 😍
Interesting! 💕
I know this is about the sweater upcycle, but can we acknowledge the pants please? Love em all
Thanks so much!! 😁💕
Of course the hard one is my favorite so far.
I caught it and was yelling at the screen “you didn’t cut the back don’t see it yet”
Love your persistence. Also you styled it like a boss
Thank you!! 😊💕
You have the most amazing drive and talent! Thank you for sharing!
Oh yes! Thrift store opens at 10 am. Gotta go before we lock down...
They were both amazing but honeeyyyy that grey OUTFIT was allllll me 🙌🏽😍😍😍
Watched them all and this is still my favorite. You can fix anything. But baby girl when you turned that sweatshirt over, honey I know how you felt. Been there, done worst but I have to tell you, I was rolling, aka Lmao. You're amazing.
I didn't catch it but I enjoyed a chuckle. My seam ripper is my best friend.
Laughing thru the trouble shooting 🤓 ur positivity is contagious
The Blue one is my favorite 🤩
Yes...I have my bag of hoodies and sweaters and was waiting for this. I even cleaned up my room. 🤦🏽♀️❤️
Yayyy!!
You’re mistakes give me life! It makes me keep going...and not throw things 🤣🤣
I'm so glad! Making these videos makes me not throw things. 😂
These look sooooo gooooood!!! And I was just thinking that curved stripe detail is classic Angelina 🤣 fabulous work as always!!!
If it's any consolation, I am the Queen of Inversions. If I sew long enough (or when I am already tired), I WILL see something upside down, backwards, or inside out.
Yesss, tired sewing is no good. 😂
Thank you ♥ I love those projects but I have a big crush for the Grey one 😍
Sometimes you out do yourself , they are fantastic
Yep, I saw it. Been there and done that for SURE! Love this series!
Yeah, makes you just want to throw it down and walk away. 😂 Thanks!
Ima be honest I didn't catch your mistake. I was too excited to see it come together that I forgot the back was supposed to be straight too lol but it still turned out amazing. I like the both of them ❤
Thank you!! 😊 I guess I should be grateful that I didn't cut off something that shouldn't be cut off. 😆
You are so joyous🙃love your process. Many things you make are not something I would wear at 76, but I am fascinated by your eye and courage to go for it. Love dedication to recycle, upcycle. We should all pay attention.
Thanks so much!!
oooooweee! I missed it too, girl. wow. Yu juged it real good. Bof are fly. Yeah! Success! Thx designer sweets! 😁😝😟🥰🤗💃
Thanks so much!! 😁
This one of the all time best videos on the internet.
Oh yes, all the time,, love my seam ripper.
Ok now I love you more! Choose your adventures! Loved the books, and love your upcycling adventure.
I would wear this!! Love this DIY 🔥
Thanks so much!! 😁
I love how the jacket ,and the pants OMG I thought those were black boots ,but the pants was just solo LIT ,I love the gray Jacket as well
Thanks so much!! 😁
@@BlueprintDIY 😘😘😘
Love this idea!
Thank you!! 😊
Yay my turn I loved it, yes no just One two, OMG some day I will ... You are so skillful Girl 😊😊😊
Thank you!! 😊💕
Yesss... I can I can😀
OMG! You cutting up a NIKE hoodie and a TH sweater? See I am having a anxiety moment. It hard to find a good Nike sweatshirt at my local thrift stores and that sweater was a good winter basic for layering. I like how you sew in the sweatshirt all the way on the side and thru the sleeves. The end result came out really sporty. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.
Love that you show everything, mistakes are easily made 🤗
I really like both of them, but it's the color matching for me.
I like both of them. It's nice that you let us see the process 💕🌱
Good grief!!!! I loved both of them!!! This one i am going to try for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I loved this upcycle. Both hoodies turned out so good. I had to watch this one twice.
Thank you!! 😊
Yes ma’am I caught it ☺️, the gray is cool 👍🏾but I’m loving the blue😍!Great job sis!!!
Thanks so much!! 😁 Good eye!
Love this Series; my favorite is this one!!! On 🔥 🔥
Thanks so much!! 😁💕
You did a fantastic job on this hoodie. If I were brave enough, I would, definitely, try this one. Hands down my favorite. Thanks for showing the blue to fix the flimsy. LOVE IT, LOVE the series.!
Thanks so much!! 😁💕
Love this series and I absolutely LOVE this sweater hoodie! I will be making this one very soon! Also glad you didn't edit out that mistake. It made me feel better because that is absolutely something I would do so now I know to be on the lookout and avoid that one LOL!
That is super-cute! Again, taking casual wear to another level.
Very cute! I love the navy blue and that one was cute, but I like the gray one more. 💜
Yeah....I have been waiting for this....and I love the pant too...
Thanks so much!! 😁💕
I LOVE THEM!!! And I'm glad to see that even great sewers make mistakes like that sometimes. That gives me hope. Though not quite as crazy as mine last night. I sewed the bottom of a sleeve to an armhole. SMH. After I ripped it out, I threw in the towel until I can rest and go back fresh and attack it later! p.s mine was crazy not yours...lol
I definitely make crazy mistakes and I completely agree that walking away for awhile is the best decision sometimes. 👍🏽
I think you can take the logo off with acetone, I've seen it before! :) I really like this cause you can dress it up anyway you want to! LOVE. IT!!
I love your creativity and personality. Thanks for sharing mistakes with such good humor. You make me feel better about my mistakes, which are many. 😂
Glad to see I’m not the only one forgetting things, sewing fabrics backwards or any other absentminded actions. 😂 I love this video and I will definitely try to do it. I have a short sleeves sweatshirt, no hoodie… I want to add a sweater like that and maybe a hoodie too. Still looking for a thrifted sweater.
I loved the gray one maybe the color or the sleeves
REAL! Love seeing it good and better! Blessed and safe days!
I like it but I wouldn't try it. You do it for the both of us. Lol. Very well.
These are so cute! With the grey one you could cut some iron on interfacing and your problem is solved.
i felt so sorry for you making the bottom-part-mistake but at the same time i was so happy to see that something like this even still happens to somebody like you. (and not only me 😅)
thanks for sharing your mistakes too!! ❤
Love, love, love the grey sweater/sweatshirt hoodie.
Haha, I did not see the mistake, thanks for leaving it in. I hate it when people do absolutely everything perfectly. (Or pretend to!)
I do like the gray one, with the white stripe, and the navy, but all of them too. Thank you!
🎄✌️🤶☃️🎅👍🎄☕
Thank you!! 😊 I'm learning to be more transparent because I hate that too.
I *love* that you left your mistake in the video - so much more realistic and inspiring than an impossibly perfect project that I know I couldn't make. Thank you!
You always thrift some nice things to complete your DIY. GREAT JOB
Thank you!! 😊💕
I love these! My creative juices are flowing. I would mix it up & use the grey sweater with the blue hoodie or attach the grey front pocket onto the navy sweater. Super gorgeous!
Yes, great ideas! Thank you!! 😊
Hi! I've caught on to the name of your channel. You're an architect. I've done some apprenticeship work in construction. Blueprints resemble sewing patterns.
OAN, I love how you add that extra pizzazz to your upcycles.
Yup, you figured it out. 😁 I don't think most people make the connection. Thank you!! 😊
Loving this series 😘😘😘😘😘 The gray is actually my fav. Can't wait to try this and post in the FB group.
My first time sewing pockets, I sewed them on backwards and over the opening . So yeah, made that mistake. It is so funny to me! They both turned out so nice!
Thank you!! 😊
I love this. wish I had a good sewing machine to do this
So so gorgeous Angie the frankenstein fashion queen love them booth I am going to try this look on something soon 💞
Yayyy! I'm so glad!! 😁 Thanks!
You are bomb! Thank you for showing your flaws in all! Beautiful piece!
I love the blue navy ones 😍My winter vibe*
I luv, luv. LOVE these!! You used two of my favorite colors also. Don't doubt that learning curve.; we've all had to do it at least once. You've inspired me to try something similar to this. You are a true shero!! 🥰🥰
Thanks so much!! 😁💕
I caught it, was thinking maybe she’s gonna do something else to the back. A confused 🤷♂️ look on my face...... But girl, you caught it and knocked it out the box... ❤️ it.. keep doing yo thang girl and keep em coming....
Good eye! Thanks so much!! 😁
pants are killer!!.... and I really like the top
Thank you!! 😊
Lololol, it was the Whitney insert for me! 😂🤣
Love the blue one with the stripe but I don't like the t'shirt stripe on the grey one. I think it would've looked better just sweater to sweatshirt.
I just love your creative flow 👏👏👏
Of course this was my favorite since it’s the most complex 🤣🤣🤣. But on to the last one!! You’ll see my review of this series on the last video lol 🤗
Love your vids!! Loved this hoodie!! I've been doing bridal and clothing alterations for 30 years and I've made those kinds of mistakes. We're human. ❤❤❤
I'm cracking up right now bc I'm binging on this series while crocheting. Right when you made a mistake in sewing, I realized **I** made a mistake in counting my stiches. We both hung our heads in frustration at the same time. 😂😂😂
Ps - this is a great series! I'm so enjoying the binge-watching! ❤
We were right there together! Sometimes the mistakes are too crazy to get mad. I just grab the seam ripper and get to it. 😂 I'm glad I can keep you company. 😁
Nope I didn’t see 👀 that🙄🤫🤦🏾♀️ I love the gray because I like that the white curve is, or at less looks, lower than the blue and the both look good! Btw I bought that curve ruler this summer with the ruler🎉
Can’t wait to try all of these!!! We are so creative
OMG! Angelina, I love this series! This hoodie is my favorite. I am going to try this one. I love your work and more over your personality. You are such an inspiration. I look forward to your videos every week. Thank you sharing your talent, the mistakes and the finger pricks😉 God bless you and your family. BTW: yes I caught the sweater mistake, lol!
I can't understand, how did I ever miss this episode!?!😩😄 So dope Angelina.... Love both of the hoodie sweater mixes and the sweater colors went perfectly with each one!! So fun.. I'm already excited for today's newest episode ☺️.
Love it! Your mistake is better than my best work. You are amazing! You inspire me👌🏽
Thank you!! 😊💕
Jajaja you made me laugh so hard when you turn it to the back after the perfect front
I was so heartbroken! 😆
This is awesome!! I have some sweatshirts and sweaters I have just been holding on to. Some too small but I can see how I can expand them using this!!! I'm excited to get back to sewing!!!
I love this one!
This is absolutely adorable..I definitely want to try my hand at making something like this..I never throw clothes away,LOL..It's definitely time I start doing something with all the clothes I have..
