He has vibrato, hit‘s the notes and has rasp. The cynic tone in his voice fit‘s the theme of Burning Bridges. I like Dave‘s Vocals!

Dave is a legend. A great songwriter and guitarist, too. Admittedly he is no Freddie Mercury or Paul Rodgers, but he has his own unique vocal style and it’s perfect for Megadeth. Honestly, there are literally thousands of vocalists out there who are better than Mustaine, but can you place them singing in Megadeth? You can’t, can you? As average a singer as Mustaine is, no one could replace his voice in the band as it wouldn’t sound right or be the same. He has a unique vocal style that’s irreplaceable in Megadeth, so you got to give him credit for that. And, besides, he’s very talented and intelligent. As I said - a true old school legend who’s outlived many against the odds. Love him or hate him, he deserves respect!
I absolutely agree with you. But you have to admit that, without the song underneath, his vocals are pretty lame 😬

@@norbitcleaverhook5040 actually, I think he is the best singer of the big 4. Hetfield is good but not as unique as Mustaine. Still that doesn't mean that he is always perfect. In this particular video he sounds like 💩💩
His singing in Megadeth is like Lars' drumming. Far from the best but the best for the band
Mustaine's vocal techniques in relation to the rest of Megadeth's music show that he understands music better than his critics. Very few vocalists could duplicate Megadeth's work.

and afterwards 2005-2007,and next one was the deadliest strike by cancer
its got worse in 2020s but man i wish he could hire some vocalist after throat cancer,

I disagree, Dave sounded great until right before Endgame. Look up Megadeth playing at the download festival in 07 his voice is still very clear at that point
listen to his isolated vocals on sleepwalker. His vocals were amazing all the way up until cancer. Even now I feel he just needs a vocal coach or something now to work with it

@@Stevenirons I agree that Mustaine is a great guitar player and a great song/riff writer, and I agree that he never had a great voice, but he managed to go around that and to do his own style of vocals. The way you voiced your opinion, it looked like you're trying to say that Mustaine in this video was trying to copy Hetfield vocals, and that's not the case.

No offence to Megadeth, but holy man, how bad he sings. He is literally dreadful
What I found was that people don't hear the same thing. For example, some people don't hear the off-key singing. If you really listen, as you said, it's sort of off key all over the place. Once you mix it and add effects and you don't hear the vocals in isolation, it sounds awesome.. I guess.. lol
@@AMetalheadsJourney yea but that's BS because then anyone could "sing" plenty of artists don't need to do that and sound great live. Dave is comically bad at vocals and not even one live performance has ever sounded remotely good with him behind the mic
I don`t believe that at all, that is a metallica fan boy comentary, great part of his success are his vocals, maybe you don`t like his vocal timbre but his voice is very unique have a lot of vocal placements designs in the recording, maybe he is not that good replicating studio vocals in live performances (an example is hangar 18 the studio take have an excelent vocal design but in live he never replicate that line with the exact vocal placements that the studio), but his vocal lines are not flat and predictable that a lot of power or heavy metal singing that do the same thing all the time, high notes and predictable opera vibrato and for that "they are better" @danielcarvalhovianocturna435 @@AmericanGi370
