We would visit his family’s cabin in Minnesota and Drew would cook us the most amazing fish he would catch right in his backyard. He would play guitar while his brother sang. Amazing memories. I’ve been trying to find Drew for a few years now and this video was a breath of fresh air. I hope he’s doing well wherever he is ❤

I was living on the street in Sacramento in 79 so I know . 13 years later I was building my own home . I give them some money because I am grateful and understand how you can get trapped in that life . There is nowhere to go . I had help and got out and am eternally grateful till today . Think of those cold nights by myself 3,000 miles from home all the time . I was 23 then , I am 65 now and it still haunts me . God Bless these people AND this cat is a good musician too !

Wish I was there to witness this.This dude is a bad ass on that GET-AR and has a vocal sound so unique and weathered from hard living. His vocal timbre reminds me of an unplugged Kurt Cobain. Would've tipped the man a $20 easy. Sad that our society has seemingly lost an appreciation for the arts . I think there was a time when a man could've made a decent living bringing such a gratifying sound to an otherwise unpleasantly noisy and stale crosswalk. People will go to Vegas and throw their money into the currency disposal that is a slot machine and wine and dine a half plastic half human hooker before they'll even look in this guy's direction.
