I'm still in the organization because of my wife and three girls I don't want to loose my family so I just go along with things but this video help me to see that I must take a stand for the real truth that is not found in the watchtower. Even if they joined the UN because they wanted to use their Library, and suppose that's true, and that the rules did change, it's still wrong according to WT own rules, because that would not be maintaining Christian Neutrality. Not in light of the fact that a Br. or Sis. cannot even sign a work petition that would save their job.

Unbelievable! I was an elder for them during this period, and never can I recall being informed of this step by the WBTS! We as elders were never informed of this step, and of course for good reason! They never wrote an article of "confession" or repentance over this adulterous act! Perhaps an apostate infiltrated the Bethel family and did it without the GB knowing about it; I don't know; but this still is disconcerting. It smacks of possible hypocrisy or at the very least, gross negligence.
You are in the process of “waking up”. Many years before I “woke up”, I wrote a letter to members of the GB, pointing out to them a huge injustice that had been done to me by the elders. I naively thought that the GB cared about justice. I now believe that the GB is made up of men who are void of spirituality. Please read Crisis of Conscience by Ray Franz.

So now I am currently "disfellowshipped" for a sin that according to all of the research on grounds for disfellowshipping' is not one of the grounds listed in their "list of criteria"! I never joined a political organization, never served in the military, never ran for political office, and never voted for a political candidate. Yet, because I donated to some lobbies to prosecute lawbreaking officials and push fair immigration legislation and fair Social Security legislation, I was deemed as making myself "part of the world" and essentially disassociating myself. This process of writing our reps and senators in Congress is in fact our civic duty and lawful right in obedience to the authorities' system of operation! (Romans 13: 1,2) What a shame that the GB or it's organizational representatives are making up their own rules for disfellowshipping that unnecessarily ruins the family lives of long time dedicated servants such as myself!

That book is New Genesis by Robert Muller. The portion quoted in paragraph 11 is preceded by the statement, "All major world religions are accredited to the United Nations as non-governmental organizations." The article condemned as apostate all such religions. Thus, the Watchtower knew full well what it was doing by joining the UN. I have seriously wondered if there is a group of worshippers that Jehovah is pleased with that he is blessing & guiding but don’t know of any other than JWs as a group of people for his name. It’s the men at the top that are just like the pharisees of old. Do we worship on our own? Or are their truth loving people to gather together with? Jer. 29:14 He says that he will gather you together and bring you back to the place ............... and in Isaiah 2:1-4 he tells us that his people will stream out of all nations to learn about him & how to peaceful & learn war no more............ Sounds to me like a group of truth loving, humble people will unite in learning & and worshipping. Please let me know your thoughts on this.

Breath taking hypocritical double standards! Do as I say, but not as I do. And at the same time as the Malawi JW's being murdered the gb was telling Mexican JW's to bride officials to obtain the 'cartilla' card that freed them from military service, reasoning it was okay to offer bribes for such a card which " if the consciences of certain brothers allow them to enter into such an arrangement for their continued freedom we have no objection". Those words are part of a quote taken from a letter to Mexico Branch Committee dated June 2, 1960.
In both cases of Malawi & Mexico, the gb encouraged its members to break the law as in Malawi....with dreadful & unspeakable consequences.....it was the LAW to hold that political card and in Mexico, their members were encouraged to offer bribes to officials.
In the Bible there are examples such as Joseph and Daniel who held political and governmental positions.

I have wondered about the connection between Jehovahs Witnesses and the UN. I had been studying for years and have been in Kingdom Hall often ,but some things I felt were not loving like they said. I felt like a fish in a lake ..you catch me and I am yours..then amazingly no contact. I felt so bad. I have my daughter who is disfellshiped . Her life was awful. After that.

Realization!. A written letter is like writing to the Pope about affiliation with Germany during Hitler's dictatorship. It will be disregarded and laughed upon, with a reply; "How dare they question us, Do they not know we will judge even angels." It shows they're demented attitude.

I have never heard of this main representative of the Watchtower by the name of Giro whoever he is. I was born into this religion and was in it most of my life. Why wouldn’t we JW’s not even know this person? After all, he was called the main representative. I think there is a lot of secretive things about this religion they are not telling us.
What I am trying to do is to test your expression to see if it is from God.(1John 4:1) I have the right to do this because the Bible said so. But from what I can see is that your trying your best. I think that you need not to used the witness publications and then criticized them about it. When I did the research on the one witness rule I didn’t used their publications. Yes,it good to used their publications as a guide line . This help me to see what is false.
I agree , The word says to test every inspired utterance . Especially when it is displayed in the spirit realm .The Bible says Satan can turn himself into an angel of light but l do no these gifts exist today , So lm asking God for direction wisdom and presence of mind . I prayed to see an angel and l discerned it was a demon l almost brought into my house He was inside for a short time untill l called on Jesus and angels to remove it . But here’s something I found out online that you want to consider and may also require you to take this video down or change it, etc.
The Watchtower Society did not join the UN. Only nations can join the UN.
They became what is called an NGO (Non Government Organisation) to the department of Public Affairs, This was so that they could have access to the vast library at the UN.
The criteria for being an NGO was different when they become an NGO. The criteria changed and the leaders at the WTS were unaware of the change of status for being an NGO until a reporter in England wrote a story for the Guardian
I think it just boils down to the Watchtower leaders being a bunch of idiots. Some of the dumb things that they’ve done and said over the years is just quite egregious . So I would say don’t attribute malice to something that can be explained by stupidity.
but when they first started out it wasn’t joining like what you’re saying and I will have to give them credit for cutting their association off completely once the changes in un association meant. I mean, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that you probably shouldn’t even become an NGO just to get access to the library. What do you think it looks like eh? Duh! I mean at what cost did it come out to get access to that UN library? I don’t think the reward outweigh the risks of having that involvement with the UN. They didn't join the UN, correct! They became affiliated with the UN. Since they condemn the Catholic church for the NGO affiliation with the UN, as I mention in the video, they have condemned themselves.

They broke off the affiliation when they got caught with their hand in the cookie jar, but they have never issued an apology nor any acknowledgement of wrongdoing. Since their criteria for forgiving a wrongdoer is to see contrite and sincere repentance, I guess we are left to conclude that they need to be disfellowshipped for unrepentantly having violated Christian neutrality, and all for a library card???

I think that you should not from a religion because we know that Jehovah will destroy Babylon the great. But what you need to do is to bring the brothers and sisters together in that way we can continue to the work of Jehovah. Do not waste you time about criticizing the witness and comparing them but rather do the things that Paul did. And I know that we have brothers and sisters that are yearning to do work of Jehovah. The preaching must continue regardless.

But they withdrew they aren’t sinning anymore. So nothing to report because they stopped. We accept sinners back once they stop and repent to Jehovah. Your right if we see a sin but the sin is no more. They withdrew.
But they didn't repent. They withdrew because they got caught with their hand in the cookie jar, but they never acknowledged any wrong doing, which is the first step on the road to repentance. Instead, they tried to cover up the sin with lies and misdirection.

The gospel (good news) is that christ died and was raise to save ALL mankind from eternal death. But having been save does not send you immediately to heaven, there is a process of repentance that one will have to go through in this life or at the resurrection as symbolized by the lake of fire, the judgment. His church ( a spiritual organism) are being judged now preparing for leadership in the eternal kingdom of the father. God is reproducing himself in mankind, we are his offspring.
I got this question. How do you view the one witness rule? If you were come up on a situation were the one witness rule would not be needed. Like for example child abuse. How would handle the situations where everyone is satisfied. (Key) Remember God is a God of Justice and also remember that we do not have God but our side but we have his words the Bible.
The Organization's failure is that they compare themselves to Israel. Israel was a nation with its own laws, judiciary, and penal system. The Christian congregation is not a nation. So we are told that when crimes occur, they are to be dealt with by "God's minister or servant", AKA the governments of this world. If there is a murder, a rape, or child abuse--sexual or otherwise--these are matters for the worldly courts. By not following the words found at Romans 13:1-7, the Organization has turned itself into a rival of the governments that God has established to maintain order until his Kingdom comes.

I do not want you to feel that trying to make argument out of this. The witnesses has failed many sisters and even brothers in this matter. That one main reason why they left the organization. I know for a fact that Jesus will raise someone to continue from where left off. People are not listening to the witnesses anymore they have the fame the name of Jehovah.

For one to be part of Christ ' s believers one was/is supposed to hear the word of God then believe it ,repent,confess Christ and get baptized the we are added to His body which is His Church...Romans 10 vs 12--18... Since the salvation is only found in Christ....because he is the Only Way John 14 vs 6-7...The early Christians used to gather in their different geographical places for worship and those gatherings were referred to as Church of God ...Church of Christ... Romans 16 vs 16...1 cor 1 vs 2....If we are to be called Christians it means we must also do exactly as instructed by the Word of God...
