he keep using maggie, salt and artificial stuff (as can be seen on so many videos that matthew seems alarmed and upset when mokko use those) and yet matthew keep pushing this show as natural, vegetarian, ital food show just because mokko plant something on his backyard. mokko is clearly making poor man's food or whatever he likes. as for me, i enjoy knowing this people and their simple live with beautiful nature.
I try to ignore the subtitles so I can practice understanding Mokko better. This is hands down the best channel I’ve come across. Perfect quarantine escape

What a coincidence, I had some Textured Vegetable Protein Chunks today. I learned about them months ago on your show and ordered some online. I really like reconstituting them in veggie broth (Badia brand seasoning and achiote aka anniato seed powder and water). Then I add them together with onions, peppers and carrots to a curry sauce that comes in a jar!

Notice how he ditches the answer of r awhile there? segment 1:00 his answer to veggie chunks is "dem ting ya affi dem Italians and suh." He also has a 'thing' for Italians too. mentions them a lot!go Ras.
I just recently went to Jamaica for my honey moon but felt like I Never got to experience the real Jamaica because I wasn’t allowed to leave the resort ! Your videos really make me feel like I get to experience an authentic part of Jamaica and I thankyou for that ! Lee the videos coming !

I got a pack in the health food store on GlenWood ave in Brooklyn, N.Y., it is very, very good. Whatever you flavor it with, it mimics it. If you curry the chunks it taste like curry chicken. GRACE FOOD carries it too. 😀

Veggie chunks or texturized vegetable protein (TVP) is basically dehydrated tofu. I use it for curry chunks or as a meat substitute in my plant-based Indian meals (korma, tikka masala, Kafka).
This makes me wanna come to Jamaica I’ve been watching your videos for so long now. praise jah!!!! Shout out ras mokko

I often prepare curried veggie chunks. There are two types 1. a cheaper quality made mostly of Soya and 2.The more expensive but much tastier version where Soya is processed through an expensive machine called an extruder where the oil is removed.

What's the problem with salt? Love salt, there's salt in that chicken flavour stuff could be a bit of MSG too
I saw a video wherehe explained why he did not salt most of his foods (he does salt the sweet foods to bring out sweetness)
It is because salt causes the blood pressure to rise i believe.
Obviously he eats some stuff that is not as healthy as other, but i believe that it is smart to at least cut -some- of the bad stuff out of your diet.. I mean, just cus i eat cookies sometimes, doesnt mean i cant have a healthy diet otherwise, right? :D
