I'm not into VR horror at all, but RE8 is one of the craziest things I've experienced in my entire life. (I liked it more than RE4 by quite a margin) I also recommend you play it on Easy your first go through. There is still plenty of challenge, but it eliminates the frustration and the bullet sponge gameplay that I'm not a fan of, and lets you experience it like the worlds most elaborate (and expensive) haunted theme park. (imo, it shouldn't take 5-6 shots to the head to kill a normal zombie, and I also don't enjoy having badass weapons, but almost never having ammo for them) Seriously, you *gotta* play it. The only reason this game becomes a horror game in vr, is because scale becomes a thing. Seeing a mutant on a flatscreen vs actually seeing its size in vr just hits different.
