I was originally on the fence for this as I already have Siege Sideswipe but figured as an exclusive I should grab them. Im not disappointed. They look good as my desk bots and eventually on my shelf. Plus I got them early and $5 bucks off. So good deal all around.
I really like the packaging of the set. The art is very nice and I love how it matches with the other Battle Across Time Collection. The figures themselves are nice. I like Sideswipe a lot. Skywarp is very good too, but I agree the beast head is very noticeable.
WFC is over half the season 1-3 collection I have. I have about 10 of those sideswipe molds in various forms (I've painted a few)..and I never get tired of it. I think ER Sideswipe and Red Alert are great swan songs for the Lambo mode. I'll just be waiting on Clampdown and I'll be done.
Mine just came in today!! I really like this set no complaints except the eagle head popping out, I just hope we get more Beast Wars, oh and that Sideswipe is just perfect no spoiler but still good. I’m hoping we also get a Magnaboss soon.
Maximal Skywarp on the other hand, the figure I wasn't all that interested in has grown on me substantially. Kinda hope we do get a proper update to Magnaboss in the future since you mention it, but as it stands as just a figure to homage a beast Wars II character, I think he's solid. (another great mold from Kingdom Airazor too.) I have some spare swords from the TFPrime RID Wheeljack from years back to give him, but wish he came with those too.
Epic review TF Collector!!!!!! Sideswipe looks incredible and Skywarp is nice for being a repaint with a new robot mode head of Airazor. :D I hope we get a figure of Clampdown to have all 8 Lamborghini Autobots, since in addition to the earth mode versions we have Deep Cover and Tigertrack from the Siege version. Keep on being amazing.
Same here, I have Siege Sideswipe with nonnef's shoulder canon. That already looks good with Sunstreaker. The only retool I have of this mold is Gigawatt. Since I don't have Siege or Netflix Red Alert, I might get Kingdom Red Alert to go with Inferno.
As fragile as Magnaboss is my Tripredacus started breaking almost right out of the box with the translucent brown plastics. It's a shame because I preferred Tripredacus' weird combined mode more than Magnaboss.
@@TFCollector Sea Clamp is the only survivor for me. Ramhorn is in pieces and Cicadacon's missiles were the first casualty. Sea Clamp is for some reason one of my favorite Beast Wars figures. Skywarp/Silverbolt was another favorite but he didn't survive either. Fingers crossed for reissues or updates one day!
Got home from work today, and mere minutes before clicking on this video, my amazon package for the two pack arrived. Opening it up, i'm...torn. I love the Kingdom Red Alert and Sideswipe has been one of my favorite characters (helps that the Siege mold is probably my favorite figure to transform on a regular basis. ) QC wise, Sideswipe has slightly loose knees compared to the siege, but nothing substantial. However, the whole piece where the chest is supposed to connect into is warped upwards in a round formation, so I can't tab it it. (No version of this mold actually "tabs" in for me, but it's the principal of it being warped out the box in the first place that has me bummed.) The chest hinge itself isn't loose so it's not going to flop around but I still don't like it. That's really my main problem with the set.

I painted Sideswipes feet silver to match the Masterpiece version and break up all the white

Good Sideswipe, terrible Sunstreaker. And I miss the engineering of the old Classics Universe pair.

Sorry to hear that. My Tripredacus has held together so far, but I'll definitely be more careful around the clear plastics now.

I'm sorry to hear about the QC issue. Mine didn't have that, sonic seems to be isolated. You may be able to get a replacement from Amazon.
