Dig the videos for sure, the silent filming with the music and you doing work is super cool man. Whatever is easier for you to put more videos out of that badass galaxie.
When I first found your channel you had some rust on the roof on the passenger side of one of these Fords. You cut it out and patched it and welded it and it went really well. I think you made a patch off another car's roof. I was impressed and your work is go well done. It's fun to see it.
We always use a product called all-metal to fill where lead originally was. It’s an aluminum filled filler. Works great to replace lead and stronger than body filler. Great work man!
Great video Craig. The time lapse works great too. I like that style of filming. If you have a look at the KSR RUclips channel, Kevin Smith does that quite a lot and I like it. He usually talks to camera to tell you what he is going to do and then the time lapse follows.
CT garage on RUclips he's got a Ghia he's restoring and has a lot of videos from welding to painting to suspension etc, check him out and hope u get some motivation to restore yours 😃
Content is always the key. Make your videos however you want. Long as the content is there, the viewers will be there. I think to maintain content you do have to explain things. But you can do that with voice overs, even on time lapses too. I'm sure there will always be times when you have to stop if you want to show the explanation. What you did here was just fine. Thanks for sharing
Craig I see that you got motivated back on your Galaxy after going to those car shows and seeing those really nice Galaxys time to get rolling on it. 👍
I do like this format that you're using for the work sequence on the cars. Honestly you can try a myriad of different ways to do things That's the nice thing about being on RUclips. There are no rules. You can do various different styles whatever suits your fancy, and it's gonna be completely OK because it's to your liking. The rest of us are just here to watch.. Keep doing what you're doing and look forward to seeing these cars done!
The chrome trim around the edge will cover up the curved seam you are making! It's the joint between quarter panel and roof and I would think it needs some flex
I enjoy this style of video however. It’s not as easy to learn your tips and tricks when you do that because it isn’t getting explained. Thanks a lot craig appreciate it. Keep rocking it
i feel so lucky after watching u rebuild or should i say build a car from rust my 68 chevy pu and 70 ford high boy not a drop of rust in them from factory they even still have factory paint on them i am getting real close on painting the final paint on the 68 got a seat that matches the color i painted the interior for 25 bucks and it looks new the dash came out sweat but still thinking on getting a tilt wheel for it but that is 350 bucks for the one i want all i need to get is the emblem on the glove box for it everything else on dash looks better then new even put a new glove box in it rebuilt the heater system chrome defrost vents new tubes need to get a new floor pad have a good stereo for with 2 10 inch and 2 400 watt 6x9 and amps for it with a disc changer . the only problem i have run into since i got it on the road is tires do not last long with street tires if u hit it hard it just sits there no need to power break break it the trans hits hard runs like my pro built 400 turbo but it is a 02xx 400r turbo GM rates it for 800 hp
I know you have your own ideas about how you're going to the red Galaxie but I'd love to see it like the white one you had in your video of the car show. That thing was sharp 👍 Either way I love seeing your videos coming out more often...keep em coming!!!!
Good video as always i found you a year ago when researching F100s but this here might size me some time and money on my Cutlass body and metal work. What size of metal is that you are working with ?
@@Thecraig909 also no offense, but you can NEVER go back to clean shave man. u looked so weird in that one clip w no stache 💀 just go junkyard digs mode and grow out the full beard
I've copied bad Chad's method of flooding the car with filler , it seems to take less time and the finish is great , but hey each to their own, tidy job you're doing there , she looks really straight 👍👍👍
good job but to be definitively efficient, you should put grease everywhere. grease et the only thing very efficient against rust. put grease between metal and carpet, inside door, behind bumper, behind (inside the car), behind the repairs you can make (everywhere inside hidden ereas - instead of using paint), hollow areas (necessarily hidden, so no need to be aesthetic). For rear wings unreachable with a paintbrush, use an extender and poor old oil everywhere each year.Handyman Experience - 35 years. From france
To me your most interesting videos are those of you working on the Galaxys. Doing donuts and other "kid" stuff are not that interesting. At 76 years old restoring an old car is something I've always wanted to do but never had the time or money to do (or talent)
Dude so many projects I can't wait for a moving Galaxy at car shows! 2 car products can't live without neverdull and pb blaster!!
keep up the good work my friend, sending love from australia

Bad day until your video popped up. Chilled out now. Your videos are the best. THANKS Craig.
Thank you! Never too late to have a good day my friend.
You're becoming quite the body man! Glad to see some Galaxy work. ;-)
I love the style of video. Is awesome seeing you work.

That works bro cars coming along pretty good can't wait to see that bad boy when it's finished good luck

I like the style of the video, the more body welding I watch the more confident I get to start the welding on my 1970 Karmann Ghia

@@vishalmaharaj2003 yes, I've been watching his videos and will use much of that information in my resto

I really enjoy watching the videos, especially since I’ve been going about learning this stuff on my own! I enjoy the passion you put into your work

Love your videos. They inspired me to get working on my old ride (350,000 miles on her now)

You are doing very awesome job craig
Love it! Like the way you filmed that. Definitely Inspiring to me
Great job Craig
music and work.. my vote
Great job as always! Thank you for the encouragement I am working on my 91 Bronco again!
Oh my this man has all my cars. Galaxie and f100
Just looking out for your health but you should have some kind of mask on when sanding lead. You don't want that poison in your lungs.
The clips with you on the grinder were 🤌🏻
Need more galaxie videos and also more videos like this

Great video man you're killing it with these projects bud 👍
Beautiful work. Subbed
Excellent vid, awesome progress! Keep it up!
I prefer to watch the work with only the odd bit of clarification.
Nice job man you make my day when you upload.
Style is good!
Late night upload 🤙. Keep up the great work Craig
Yeah , liked it .......anything on the 64s or PU
Well Craig my newest is a 97 but it needs a rear end and my oldest is My 84 5.0 fast back or hatch back what ever you want to call it.

bro this car is like a deboss garage level project, fkn insane man idk how you do it
I appreciate that!

Just set up and get er done son
Hey if you are sanding lead or just working around it a mask would be good , just saying
The 'tach should filter out all the lead particulate.🧔
I do like see you work and talk bit
Pb blaster products is my choice of lubricant and penetrant.
Awesome vid man. What air compressor do you use?
cool bro
Chestah chestah
You did the flashback and you didn't have the mustache you look better without it
I definitely prefer the time lapse. If people are unsure of your process, they can leave a comment.

This was a good vid. Seeing you do it.. music or no... maybe a little time lapse...
Put some of the old music you used in older videos when editing new videos 😃
You REALLY should have a good filter mask when you're sanding lead. Very toxic metal.
good job! PLEASE wear the respirator anytime you are grinding or torching the lead. super bad for you.
Yea just did the one spot real fast then wasn’t melting anything else. Normally I do.
What happened to the 410 Mercury engine, I’m interested in it
It’s at a friends house. I’ll probably end up with it back honestly.
@@Thecraig909 sweet I want to find one of those so bad. Almost got a 66 Galaxie with one
just when i thought i was going to bed
Man, this is it! I'm first and get to leave a comment first!!
What to say, what to say!
Oh man!!
...
Were all here so early. Congrats on first
Well I’m not going to bed just yet
😂🤷🏼♂️
I like you talking but it does help when you just just get the job done if you just get it done. We do want to see the cars done at some point.
First. Anyone who denies it is a dense coconut.
You got more advertisement for sponsors and your T-shirt And. Re-rating products then you got content working on your cars
Stick with the Galaxie's. It makes for a much better video.
