Learning about people's approach to fixing and upgrading is cool. But seeing craftwork in action is even better! I'm especially diggin' the way you're continuing the spaceage theme with that addition. Like a tri-jet back there!
Having been around a 64 Galaxie all my life, I wasn't sure how this would look. It turned out nice. That filler door can get in the way when fueling and I couldn't imagine it with the snorkel dispenser nozzels like you all have over there. Keep up the good work... glad to see the Galaxie coming along.
Hey bud take apart a extra taillight use the centre cut it same size as gas door and epoxy it to gas door so all 3 look the same i think that wood look great on the back
Nice work man! Good fix on that warp. Thats all part of the deal. Those things happen. And you're right, its almost expected when you are doing something like that. Welding thick material to thin, especially on long straight panels like that. Its really coming together. Thanks for sharing!
Craig, you are doing great work and learning too. Any day now I'm expecting to find a picture of you in the dictionary along with the definition of, DETERMINATION. Keep it up, love the fuel door modification.
Dude you got that gas door looking fantastic, that looks like it could have been factory. Everyone that owns a Galaxy is going to ask you about it. Keep up the great work and God Bless you and your family and friends. I hope you guys have a Happy New Year. 💪🏼💯🔥👍👍🙏🙏✌😊✌🍻
Looks great! What do you think about omitting the Galaxy 500 badge? The rear trim lines look so much better without it. Looks more custom, highlights your work.
I bought some real nice reproduction rear trim made in USA for my 64. It looks awesome and very high quality. It did not come with the holes to mount the galaxie 500 molding. It looks strange with out it. So I polished the emblem and re shot the flat black. It was nerve racking drilling holes in my new trim, but I think it ties it in.
Knew that top strip would give you problems next top bend it all one Peace matter how good you are it very hard to weld a strip in and get a nice unwharped straight edge,, you guys need to take the time to make a metal brake,, it's not hard and l made 4 different size pipe diameter attachments for mine for radious bends,, and next a shrinker/ strecher , and you can do about everything,, I have a English wheel also but it takes a while to learn,, but I have a 6 car garage with a 10,000 lb 2 post lift with heat and AC,, took me until 50 years old but damn its nice.. keep at it you will get there, l can't see your welder but you really should be useing gas shield for thin metal it really helps to cool welds and prevent wharpage.
And are you in the works of getting an actual shop if love to see you with a shop because you’d be motivated even more with a shop to work in with lifts and everything
That’s good work but you should have done it later on.Too much time consuming at the cost of overall finish time on the car.Secondly consider bucket seats in the rear.Center space you could make a console for glass holders or some such.Give it a thought….
Im affraid you will have issues with trim around cap after paint cause it look extremely snug now and it will get worse after paint cause it will have thickness of paint there also
I was thinking the same thing. A smaller version of the finned insert to match the taillights. To make that work you would need a red background. I think we just made Craig another days work. Could always add that down the road.
This is the one car I’m hyped to see get finished. U put so much time and effort into it. Mad props to u Craig 👍
Thanks for taking your time I don't want to be notified to watch a hack job your people are watching quality and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Maybe etch nineonine speed co on the gas cap! Think that would be a awesome touch!
I thought the old fuel door was fine but after seeing how the finished product came out, I absolutely love it! Very cool idea.
This whole project is great, but it's little touches like this gas door that set it apart. Great work, Craig.
Great job! Looks similar to the Falcon fuel door set up. Love that you were able to do this with basic shop tools.
Send the trim to a trim shop and have them tig weld it together, smooth the transition, and rechrome it. It'll look effing sweet as a one piece.
This episode has been the most relatable so far

For the seats, you can put a piece of carpet under the upholstery and foam to make you not sink all the way down

Looking good, will be great custom when you get finished.

Lmfao the quack attack is back. I love it.. it makes me laugh so hard, because it is so familiar.
That looks kickass man! Little touches like that are really going to set that thing over the top!! Keep up the awesome work!!
That’s gonna be a sick looking car when you get it all done up!
Awesome custom touch. Looking sweet!
Love the vision!
Bro, I've been with you since like 10k subscribers and of all your videos, this is really something to be proud of for real
Thank you. I appreciate it :)
Two great videos
Dude, that turned out great. Nice one-off touch.
Yessir video to watch at work
Nice work👍. It was worth all that work.
Nice job, looking good. You need to keep this ride for little while once finished!
Great progress
Looks really good, although I have a 56 Buick Wagon, you’ve made me think of a different route than making my fuel door behind the taillight.
Looks killer. That's some great work need to put that same fuel cap on the fox
Great work really looking nice
Great job!

Great video man cars looking awesome! Very nice touch with the fuel cap
Looks great I’m sure that trim work was a bigger too work with
Looks nice!
You now need to get Galaxie or your logo engraved in the centre of the gas cap. 👍
Billet door looks great. I"d add a blue bird on it.
Great job
Nice work 👌.
I love that thing
Heck yea, and paint it factory white and leave those wheels on it
I would love to have these tools to do all the work on my cuda :/ need a trans tunnel
And are you in the works of getting an actual shop if love to see you with a shop because you’d be motivated even more with a shop to work in with lifts and everything
Looking Damn Good 👍👍
I gotta admit I was scratching my head and a little skeptical.. But it turned out awesome. Looks great.
Your trucks a big boi

Thorogood bots?? Good man
I have to agree with some others, That looks sharp but the cap needs something...It's too plain....Not sure what but it needs a emblem or something.
Craig please can you fix your F 100 please I missed that truck so much
It’s your car Craig tell them to pound sand!!!!
you need to give that filler door the illusion of a tail light.
I was thinking the same thing. A smaller version of the finned insert to match the taillights. To make that work you would need a red background. I think we just made Craig another days work. Could always add that down the road.
One of my mother sayings was that's why the make chocolate and vanilla. I'm not going to say what i think because you won't like it.
What's happened to your F 100
Dude, careful with that grinder! It only takes a split second…
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Do you use gas not no gas
Tidy , I'd have to.weld those trims tho., my ocd I couldn't accept the 2 small piece either side of the filler cap , please weld and shape them up 🙏
Woah there buddy… did you just say running? No way Galaxies don’t do that.
Great job! No shame in wearing welding gloves.
Are you sick bro you sound a like it or getting over something
