This Kid, I say that in total respect, but he is going places. He is way polished for his age, AND CARES about his work. People are driven for many reasons, but very few have his vision. Craigs drive is also his passion and total perfection and no corner cutting is a RARIETY. Mad props to anyone that hitches their company to this fine young man, his future is gonna be big and FUN for him.
Enjoy watching you younger guys and your friends carrying on something you will always cherish. I'm 61 and one of my good friends has passed away and my other car bud found Jesus and I'm glad he that sewed a lot of oats lol.. I still hotrod around always fun just not like it was..
Indeed. This will prevent heartache down the line. Just tape off the edges where you'll be welding and spray those edges with a welding primer. When the panel is installed, hit the corners, nooks and crannies with a creeping waxy rust inhibitor - don't stop until it leaks from the bottom of the car.
Bro you're killing it . The white Galaxy looks fantastic all done and the red one is looking great to bro . Keep up the great work and God Bless you and your family
Oh also Craig I wanted to say how much I admire your "drive" & enthusiasm for all of these classic rides ! It really amazes me at the length & the true perfection you put into each project ! Keep at it man, it's fun taking the ride with you on this journey of reconstructing the classic Ford's ✌😎 If you have some down time this weekend check out...... The Mecum Classic Car Auction ( from Indy ) they have some wicked cars on the docket ! You name they have and the pick-ups are still bringing very good money.... saw a 2013 Shelby Ford F-150 Raptor sell for 85K There are a couple Cuda convertibles, one an original Hemi , 4spd car ( 1 - 5 million est. ) there's Ford GT Lightweight ! A 65' Shelby GT 350 Ford Mustang called Little Red ( that was the original testing car for Shelby & gang back, in the day ) They thought it was crushed decades ago but after alot of car detective work they found it resting ( & rusting ) out in a Texas field ! So many other great rides & low,low milage classics.... check it out if you get a chance 😆 It's like a rolling car show through you're living room ✌😎
Craig! When you mocked up that rear quarter panel from ADM on your red 64, it was friggin' awesome to see it on the car! I'm stoked! Keep up the good work, I'm a subscriber and I watch all of your episodes watching you progress on both of your 64s. Your pick up is awesome but I'm a galaxie fanatic👍🏁
As we used to say back in the 70' s... That white Galaxy looks TOIT! She's just TOIT! lol Love the look of them both but happy to see the white one is so close to paint [kind of the red headed step-child of the group of vehicles] lol Love them both!
I did body work for years. You never worry what the lines are in front of quarter. Get the quarters to line up with the trunk. And then work you way forward. Doors to your quarters and then genders to the doors. If everything is where it should be , quarters will slip onto the inner panels without much fuss. Great job so far. Nice work !
Wow!!! You've come a long way on your metal working skills. I've run into the same issues trying to align all the doors and fenders on my 64. I've come to the conclusion that some were not molded, put together, or punched out straight. I've noticed this most on the body lines. Ford was mass producing these and not looking for perfection. I guess back then "quality was NOT job one" as they used to say.
Hi Craig... white lightning ( future NHRA bracket racing star ) is looking healthier every week ! The Red head is really stripped now man, Well if you are gonna do it you might as well do it right & it will give many hours of perfecting you're body work ! I've enjoyed the wild ride with all of the projects.... it's nice that they are all shaping up ,can't wait for some more finish work 😉 Keep grinding away brother , it will all come together soon enough ! Thank you for all the great video's 📽 Best of luck going forward with the channel & all of the projects ! 😎
Hi Craig like your videos & cont content I've been a subscriber ever since you were launched the your show that's neat that you can do all that like your Galaxy Bill been watching those you do good work keep up the good work I'll keep watching
Man, that is some serious surgery on the red car. I'd be interested to see what you are doing to treat the inner structure that will stop the rust. I am hoping that is done before its closed back up.
Great progress on them craig,by the way how is sean holding up since his accident?any chance we will get to see the carnage that happened on that mishap?snookie pa.
I went back to California in 2006. I couldn’t wait to get a double double. Man was I disappointed and embarrassed. I had bragged about these burgers for years. The razor thin patties and full of sauce burgers was NOT what I grew up with.
it seems that when the metal is replaced on the red galaxy body that it and the white car will be equally prepared for the next step now...perhaps you have previously answered this question but why is the red car more appealing than the white car from your perspective? if you previously stated in a video i am sorry for not remembering...anyway i am sure both vehicles will be ready to roll.
Before you weld up any of your body panels, I would flatbed the body to a shop that can acid dip the car. This process will destroy and remove any and all rust on the car, which will preserve the car a lot longer. All you have to do from there, is make any necessary repairs, and paint. 5:40 I love my Kobalt 24v tools, especially the XTR line which has a lot more power. I have used some of their hand tools, sockets and a ratchet, and am glad I didn't spend money on them. Having said that, the hand tools and the power tools are made by different third party companies that Lowe's buys with their Kobalt name on them. 6:10 AAAAHHHH Use some eye and ear protection.......your older self will thank you.
For this type of quality build you will regret the rust converter treatment. This deserves media blasting and paining with a proper rust preventative paint like por15 or even better a coal tar epoxy based marine paint.
Wow! Using a muffler chisel for body work! First time I can remember that being done, but it sure is fast! And not near as loud and annoying as the fill music!
Hey Roberto, just wondering if you were able to find our email address... If not it's ironhorsegaragellc@gmail.com I'd like to talk more about the truck.

Thanks for explaining why you cut up the red car. That’s awesome they hooked you up with panels, keep killing it!
If it were me I would use eastwood encapsulator paint on all of the body panels under the quarters.
Weird Beard used it on his 59 Cornet build

Very nice! Didn't realize just how freaking big the quarters were for a Galaxy. It looks really good. Nice job 👍😎

Fenders not genders. The only thing similar about these two words is that there are only two of each ! 😁

Damn Craig ripped that metal off quick with that air hammer.
I like seeing the progress you are making on the red car. I really enjoy this video series.
4:10 gears will render the Galaxie a one trick pony. Fast off the line and a gas hog. I love the Galaxies!
Looking good Craig! Love the Galaxies builds!
There's a lot of Galaxy missing there!!! Be nice when it goes back together!!! Nice work!!!
👍👍👍👍👍. Great job Craig She’s looking better

I'm so jealous, In'n'Out hasn't made it to Portland yet! Your cars are going to be so gorgeous when they are finished! Keep up the good work! 😊
Now would be a great time to widen those wheel wells to run your wide tires.
Nice to see it happening, are you treating and painting the inner wheel tub and panels before fitting the rear quarter panels before final fitment.
Coming along nicely keep up the good work
I don't know what color you're thinking of repainting her but, red would be killer looking again.
Pretty awesome Craig,I would love to have one galaxy, lucky dog, you have two..
Gnarly! I’m impressed with your progress Craig! Looks impressive so far
excellent work man! I now want to buy that air hammer you bought.....
Craig, you are going a great job on these cars man!!!

Great job.

Be sure to prep your inner sheet metal
Get one side done So you don't warp the other side to keep the strength of the car
Make sure to do a proper rust removal on the inner sides before patchin it up
If you can find a snap on man or a macko For a Mac tool truck they have those
making me want to start working on my 55 olds.
Bet the niebourhood luv you and your tools.
Great job mate. 👌
Fun fact: it you slow the video down to 75% you can actually understand what the noises he keeps making mean.
Slow down on the Adderall lol

Just a? Does the front edge line up with the front of the rockers edge ? If not the gap at the fender &door will B off
Can you make a how to video of how you are adjusting gaps ?

You forgot to brace the body thats why you got gaps. But cant for the final.
What did he do with the Dana 44 from the highboy?
Getting there!

Yikes, i have never seen anyone cut that much off at one time. Should have did one panel at a time. That body is going to be flexed all out if whack

you really need a pair of leather gloves
Dang Johnny Bravo, somebody Could've used some of that if you had saved it. Oh well. Mod those wheel wells now while you can get to them.
