I just want to say that if you use pore strips it’s not going to help with sebaceous filaments at all. neither will plucking the sebaceous filaments out of your nose. doing that or using pore strips actually damages with your skins protective barrier. sebaceous filaments is a build up of oils in your pores, and using a pore strip just leaves your pore empty and ready to fill up with more oil. trust me, I know how satisfying it is seeing the gunk come out when you use a pore strip, but it’s not answer. the answer is like she said, using a Salicylic acid face wash or serum, you can also buy an oil cleanser. an oil cleanser draws oil out from your pores because since there’s two oils they are drawn to each other. you can also try exfoliants like BHA serum or a non barrier damaging scrub! the salicylic acid will end up in your pores and prevent as much oil from filling up the pore

So the salicylic acid was used on the nose in this video and that’s what made the sebaceous filaments erupt?

@@kn-qz7bynope, these are just sebaceous filaments that are easily plucked. Salicylic acid helps break down the oils and prevent these oil build up and plugs(in essence, melts them away) after consistent use depending on the % of salicylic acid in the serum. The ordinary salicylic acid 2% is a good one to start off if you want to try it.

@@kn-qz7by Usually when esthetitians are doing facials, they use steam that opens the pores and then they cleanse. Or sometimes they put something like a sheet mask and extract them out after with tweezers.

I’ve also noticed that in many videos the skin of the client appears dry and actually peeling as if sunburned. Do you think that might be caused by being treated prior to having blackheads extracted?

@@kn-qz7by layer of the skin peeling off? Or you mean whiteheads on the skin? I only saw that after people used very harsh chemical peels.

Sebaceous filaments are not unclean. They have literally nothing to do with cleanliness. They are a feature of human skin.

Go to well educated natural health food store. Try herbal drawing salve called prid. Then follow with jojoba oil or coconut oil. Good luck
