The honest reason I didn't fix them was because after a couple of tries I felt like people would get mad at me for interfering with the battle. I feel like I can't win tbh when it comes to interfering or not.
@DaleyTactics I mean this was my criticism too. You'll never satisfy everyone, I agree if they wouldn't have been glitched they would've won. Especially since the ai likes to wait until they're being completely attacked before they switch targets so they probably died rapidly without truly fighting back
@@DaleyTactics To me interfering would be commanding the troops while they are fighting actual troops but commanding the troops since their fighting phantoms isn't interfering your just giving trying to correct the battle so it can continue on its own. Just like in the Army Men Unifying War and Civil War where we had whole set of rules that had you interfering with the battle to make it more sense. Plus it making it more entertaining if we actually see the two forces fight with their actual full might instead of getting stuck fighting phantoms. As for fearing people getting mad at you for interfering with the battle, I think more people will be mad if you don't at least try to fix glitched units. Because entire battles can be completely different if those units weren't glitched. I agree with that one comment that said you don't put effort into your videos on just one thing and that's not even trying to undo glitched units since that's not the units natural state is not a good look. I know they were thinking of a more negative things when thinking of the words of not a good look but I have seen the videos you make with UEBS 2 and sometimes you've had to leave the game running while you went to bed. So I know that you put incredible amounts of time and effort into just recording these videos nevermind everything else, so I don't know what they were on about. Anyways to finish off I will say that I think its best to lay down ground rules for why you interfere in UEBS 2 so nobody can get mad without being unreasonable. These rules only happen to help fix glitched units and not to take a commander role in the battle therefore only allowed to give the slightest of move orders to get them moving toward combat. I think rule or rules akin to the suggested description last sentence and I think it would be a nice middle ground between the two sides. Also Cazh I believe is a troll or just an A**hole because I think I've seen them in other channels comment sections saying almost the exact same thing. Just replace Glitch with whatever is relevant in the video and that's his comments. Or I've seen so many accounts say almost the exact same thing that they blend together. Or These comments that say "Not fixing the {BLANK} shows how much effort you actually put into your channel, and how much you care/appreciate making money off RUclips content… not a good look" All come from Reddit because its this month's meme or something like that.
If those modern soldier would of been fixed the battle would of played out differently, please don’t ignore glitches like that man it changes the whole battle. Modern army would of won if that wouldn’t of happened.
Most realistic U.S. army sim ever; Start out clutch, then do a dumb and lose to vastly inferior forces (coughcough Vietnam&Afghanistan coughcough) through attrition. For real though, you gotta fix glitched units. The outcome in close battles like this hinge on it.
Do you know how "fixed" Vietnam was against US troops? Look up the stupid rules of engagement the US government put in place and they were fighting an up hill battle. This isn't to say the VC and NVA weren't tough fighters and creative in tactics and using their home field advantage. Don't even get me started in Afghanistan. When fighting the Taliban toe to toe there was absolutely no competition. When you're dealing with terrorists who don't care who they hurt in the civilian population, and don't take rules of warfare into consideration, of course it's going to be tough. Don't hang that on the capabilities of the US military.

Tbf there are iron age and medieval units calling some units from the ancient age doesn't help a lot as it could be units from the bronze age or you could be talking about units from the iron age.
