Great idea Michael! Love the “ice cream sandwich” look haha. I make my bridges with 1 inch or 3/4 inch square hobby wood. I cut the angles on the mitre saw, put it in the vise to cut the fret wire slot, and then take it to the belt sander and sand it all down to size. Last step is to put a little drum sander bit in my drill press and sand an arch in the bottom so it looks like a real bridge. I definitely know what you mean about an unwanted manicure haha.

Thanks for the Idea!! Good one! I have a Bandsaw just like that! Awesome saw. Anyhow it LOOKS like that. Mine is a Delta 14" made in 1987.Thanks Mike!! Oh by the way one of those scrap plywood pcs make a great PUSH stick even two pushers! LOL That way if you bump the saw it don't get REKT. I love yer vids!

I asked you for some advice a while ago, and you said just try it. So I did.
I went out and bought a Stevenson resonator slide, and then I cut it down to make my bridge. That thing was like 40 bucks, but it works real good.
If only I saw this video a week sooner.😂

Thanks Jeff, some do and some don't. I like the fret wire because the string doesn't eat into the wood. M~

@@SouthernFireGuitars That makes scents. I could also see it giving the CBG a cleaner sound.

7:51 you could always put a metal fingerpick on your finger. If you see Sparks you went too far. 😂

My fret board is 1/4'' over my box top. The bridge it fitted for each guitar. I have no set bridge height. M~
