    A teacher goes around her class asking each of the kids what do they need at home?
    Joey says "A computer." The teacher replies, "That would be very useful."
    Kimmy says "A new lawn mower," and she gets a similar response.
    Little Johnny pops up and says, "At my house we don't need nothing!"
    The teacher asks him to think again carefully, as everybody needs something.
    Little Johnny replies, "Nope, I'm sure. When Bi--n was elected, I
    remember my dad saying,
    'Well, that was the last fucking thing we needed’.

    Two thumbs up for the dirt bike riding, I’m 54 and still ride dirt bikes with the young bucks myself. Age is just a number it doesn’t define who you are or what you can do . I’ve been told by several I’m to old to be riding dirt bikes, all I can say is bah humbug do what makes you happy life’s short. Love your channel keep up the good work and god bless you.

    Hey Ironhorse I really enjoy your videos especially on anything Makita and Dolmar. I got introduced to them about 3 or 4 years ago like you had said in your video something new you usually stay away from until they gain a reputation and you let other people find that reputation. You have also inspired me to start porting my dolmars and I have ported my first 7900 cylinder with very good success. Thanks for your videos you're doing a great job! -Chris

    YEEEESSSS!!!! It runs! Wooooohhhh! I'm excited about this, what would I'd like to see? That EA6100P cut wood as it is now then after you mod the muffler, both for time. I'd like to see what a difference muffler modded this saw does. This is my first chainsaw I bought and I want it to use it for firewood and now it'll be the big brother to my Stihl MS361's. Thanks for story time Uncle Harv, I never get tire of hearing them. Whatever get on your bench next, after the EA6100P's muffler mod of course, is fine by me as my education is getting more rounded. Be safe....

    Hello iron horse saw sounds good. Been cleaning out 40 ft wide over grown fence row. Past 2 months been cutting trees and piling up logs for firewood next year. With husky 440e and 372xp and tractor with forks. Only got maybe 2 hours after work of daylight here in East Tennessee. like your videos. That’s true the good ole days are right now. Sounds good to invite Steve on the show. Have a good day.

    I just bought my first pro type of saw (only other saw I own is a Ryobi 38cc homeowner saw), I really wanted a Makita/Dolmar, especially since they announced they're no longer going to be making them past March '22. My initial dream saw was a EA6100P, but new its like $700. I heard that Home Depot rents Makita saws, and sells their old rental units, so I looked around and there were 2 different Home Depots advertising the DCS6421 20" for sale. When i arrived at the first one, it turned out to be the homeowner type 5600 model, I was really disappointed, and the guy told me not to even bother checking other Home Depots, cause none of them would have anything other than the 5600 or smaller. Thank god I didn't listen and called the other Home Depot when I walked out...I asked the guy what model saw they're actually selling, and he tells me its a 6100. I couldn't believe it...ran over there as fast as I could, and in fact it was the EA6100P for $315. It's fairly lightly used, but had a new carb on, and a new air filter. I told him if it'll start I'll take it, so he put fuel and some bar oil in - 2 pulls on choke to burb, next pull off choke it started right up. Ran like a top. I was so excited. After talking to the guy and telling him my love for quality tools for my DIY insanity, he felt bad I had to drive so far out of my way that he even threw in an extra brand new chain, and a new sqrench.
    My question to you is, what mods can I do to it? I plan on getting a new 20" bar, either a Sugihara, or a Tsumura. Besides the bar, what are some easy mods I can do quickly? Also what are some not so easy mods I can do?

I dont comment much but im gonna start...and if i ever get a chance to get an "INFAMOUS, BAD@$$ ironhorse powersaw....im for sure gettin that sucker...watever it takes....but i wanted to tell u that i love the information u share that lets us all learn and most definitely your STORIES!!!!! THEYRE THE BEST PART!!!!! Reminds me of my grandparents and families stories, mostly the men, hahaha... man, I love ya and dont even know ya! Thank u sooo dadgum much.... i appreciate u! This here Video, Sir, is one of your most enjoyable, if not, one of the best ones I’ve watched period! In fact, despite watching many of your videos, this one inspired me to Subscribe! Love Dolmar/Makita, and I have a bone stock 6100, a great saw, as you said. I really believe this Man has forgotten more than a lot of these young yahoos can remember! 😃
    Being a Veteran, I’ll tell you, I’m very upset where this Country is going. And RUclips can kiss my, you know what! I’ve got several friends that happen to be good lawyers, so I’m not worried bout their little WOKE arses, but I digress. Don’t want to being trouble to your channel. I will delete it if you want me to.
    Realize this is late comment, but better late than never I suppose? Take care Sir! 👍👍👍✌🇺🇸

    Hey Mr. Ironhorse, thank you so much for your Videos. Its super interesting for me to see the detailed stratomechanic in this german made Saxkita .
    I think its a good Saw that revs good.
    The older Sax were more Torquemonsters , won‘t rev with deep Sound and 8 pin sprocket like a cr500.
    I like my old Sax 133 and 143 . Ran them a few Days ago for Buckin, they are about 40 years old and still put a smile on my Face.
    Heavy reliable Powersaws.
    Stay safe and healthy . Kind Regards from Germany.

    Hey Harv. Love the stories. Growing up in the 60's was great. Out in the woods all day building huts and drinking from a stream, well it was really a ditch. We smoked rabbit tobacco wrapped in brown paper grocery bag. Rode bicycles miles to a favorite swimming hole. Always loved power saws but all I knew about them was gas and oil. After watching you for a long time I got a pretty good understanding how they work. Fixed all my broken saws and maybe someday I'll try some porting. Hope to see you on Rumble soon.

    Hey Harv, GREAT build!!!! Just want to interject a little. I have two of these saws... one was new the other was used and scored when I picked it up.
    The new one too 15 tanks before it came alive..... it was a VERY noticeable difference. When I rebuilt the scored one I needed a reed block also and when I put the saw together I used the old reed.... on first start the saw ran impressive and didn’t need the 15 tank break in the new one did. Just wanted to let you know what I had experienced with the long break in that these saws seem to need. While different animal when they do. Your saw may may take some time so be patient..... but your mods may have changed all that. Thanks again Harv for sharing your work and ideas.... I’ve learned a lot!!!!!

    I have a Dolmar 6100 and Dolmar 5105 with easy start which I hate. On the high speed jet I noticed it looked solid and assume it was not adjustable' Look forwood to see muffler mod.

    • @toddscholze6168
      @toddscholze6168 2 года назад

      You hate the "easy start" because your using it improperly? It was my biggest challenge to get used to. You don't grab handle and start yanking away like you typically do. You just pull a rather slow but steady pull on rope. Let the spring assist do the work.
      I had a 5105, lost it to a shed fire. Like it so well, I bought another. Unbeknownst to me, it didn't have the spring assist. It pulled so hard, I thought it was locked up or something. I really have to pin that little bitch to the ground firmly and pull hard and quick to turn her over. I'm not gonna like that when I'm older, that's for sure. I believe the compression was around 170 lbs on her. I'd much rather have the "easy start" after having owned both models.

    • @JosephSmith-sg9yv
      @JosephSmith-sg9yv 2 года назад

      I did at first but did it correctly and still hated it. I found a new replacement starter pull , its better. I think the real problem it floods so easy. on a cold start with choke it never pops so I keep using choke to long.

    I dont like what I see on the surface either, do not throw in the towel yet uncle harv there's much more going on than meets the eye, study the art of war. Everything is gonna be ok buddy, I'm telling you
    Love story time, the second time i met my wife I had to drive 25 miles out in the country in a hurricane, driving around and over downed trees in the rd just for the second kiss lol well worth in about to be four years married just found out were having a girl, 20 weeks and a few days now, I'm like you I wouldn't know where to begin on my crazy stories...shew,,my back is like urs, my body is in bad shape for 30 but it's my bones and joints I'm in great shape so doing stuff you know is gonna really hurt later(or immediately) but still do...its all worth it to do wild stuff, I never played no video games or nothing and there was god, and love in my house too, I've been very blessed. I cant complain about nothing narry bit
