Kenda trackmaster is my choice for rear tire on this type of terrain that we also have here in North Eastern Ontario Canada. After using them on my past four WR 450’s I now use them on the rear of my 2023 Beta 300RR with a Shinko Fatty 100/90/21 on the front. The Kenda also lasts a long time. A great combo! Thanks for the review.
Funny stuff. 2024 USRA nutty Putty race, 2 thoughts I had as Josh lapped me, 1. I smiled, I was riding with the Knights!!!!!!!!!!!! 2. I was struggling on a wet rocky uphill on a fence line, A Talon rear would of been a much better race tire that day!!!!!! I think 3 Knights lapped me, go Knights
They hook up great at first. Fell off fast at about 10 hours. Will probably be a 25 hour tire for me. It's not the total hours i get from a tire but the amount of time when that tire really hooks up that influences my decision. I would say these had half of the great initial hook up compared to the shinko 505. I'd rather have double the primo initial hookup time even if i dont get twice the life. Their lower price point is not enough to buy again.
Yes the Beta has KYB fork. They typically come stock with a SACHS shock though. The Beta suspension is great it currently has stock suspension on it and is really good for off-road trail riding.

Josh and the knight crew always do such a good job at being clear and concise. Great job!
Much appreciated!

You say 25 hours like it’s a bad thing
Yes
I’m happy if I get 2 races and a handful of play days out of a tire before I toss them.
i normally run jx8 gummies this tire isnt as good as that one and falls on its face in wet rock hard enduro
JX8 doesn’t last at all. The VE33S is the best compromise I’ve found. It has really good predictable traction with decent life.
I may try that tire for a practice tire because it does suck eating through jx8s lol
@Mitas TerraForce EF Super Light any opinions?
off topic. Does that beta have the KYB suspension? If yes, how do you like it in the slower technical riding. Did it get a revalve?
yes, i have a 23 200 race and the suspension is great everywhere and im around 210 with gear

What is the brand of phone mount you’re using? Is it quadlock?
Yes Quadlock
