    I just came back to 3d printing... Looking at that print makes me want to sell my saturn... the mighty is worlds ahead! I don't see any aliasing at all... awesome job!

    Hi, what resin are you using? I’m having real trouble printing their pre-supported files, I’m using the same printer as you, I’ve slowed the lift speed, but there all coming off the supports during printing.

      Increase your exposure time if the supports are failing.

    This is exactly what I've been looking for!! I've been trying to find the perfect bluish grey for krieg trench coats. Everywhere else I've looked they end up being way too blue. I picked up the ak paint you used.

    What I really struggle with is knowing where to highlight. I like seeing how you tackle it and where you put them. And now I need to find you varnish and try it out, he looks stunning when completed!

      Yeah! Eventually I just have a feel for where they go, but usually you highlight where you want the eye drawn, or when failing that the highest spots.

      Keep taking the miniature in hand and pulling your arm away. What are you struggling to clearly see that you want to stand out, especially when it's not under intense light?

    Awesome tutorial! I really liked the variety of paint brands you used so I could see how some new ones looked. I picked up the Vallejo steel after seeing how nice it looked here!

    Oh also I am a huge fan of AKs paints they are brilliant quality at a very good price, pretty thin but very strong coverage be it with a paint brush or airbrush. The only ones I don't like a ton of are their metallic paints outside of a couple of them. But yeah AK are my go too paints for sure.

    Trying to replicate this for my Kill Team - all signs on earth point to French Blue being basically a grey paint, and not this pale actual blue, any chance for a link to the one you used?

      just tried to use french blue for the first time and it definately comes out as grey i am a bit confused how col festus came out so blue

      Two reasons.
      1st - it adds some vibrancy to all the colors even if you matte it after
      2nd and more important it gives a much harder protective coat for gaming with.

      Indestructible paint job :) it makes it tough as nails for gaming.

    Lovely job on this figure. Very inpressive speed painting. I often find when i use ultra matte varnishes on metallic paints it suckka all the shine out of them, to the point where they look like a weird grey rather than a metallic effect. Is there some property of the vms which prevents this? I generally use ak ultra matte, which is great, but its absolute dead matte...

      Bomb, reminds me of old school dullcoat

    Could one use the VMS varnish with a brush ?

      I believe it’s designed to be used with an airbrush, I have brushed it on in small areas without an issue
