  • Salmon can be cooked in different ways: bake, grill, and pan fried. This video will demonstrate how to cook salmon in the wok. This method is efficient and fast, reducing the cook time by as much as 70 percent from 10 min to slightly over 3 minutes. The salmon skin is charred to a crispy texture, and the flesh of the salmon is moist and succulent. By prepping the salmon in advance, salmon could be included in any meal from freezer to table in less than 15 minutes.

Just tried this yesterday. My salmon is kind of old from the freezer. Had it thawed in the refrigerator overnight and cut it up to stir fry using a stainless steel wok. It's pretty good. Almost like fried fish without batter (炸带鱼) . Like it a lot! Will do more. Thank you Dr Tak!

I found out natural surface is not good if you remove the scales. It will stick a lot. Or leave the scales as salmon's scales are small and thin. But when I tried Chilean Sea Bass, I have to remove the scales to eat the skin.

When cooking Salmon, or most any fish, it's important to NOT over cook it. A slightly undercooked Salmon will have a nice creamy texture. Overcooked salmon will be dried out and pretty much flavorless.
