Ok point taken. One thing in each mk game there is a specific stage that resemble a stage of a character that fits like that alley rat house stage in mk 11 was obviously for spawn. So I can see that too I was looking for a stage that fits ghostface I guess johnny mansion fits even though ghostface never went on killing someone that rich.
My thoughts exactly. Pinhead would be a refresher compared to the slasher characters we already got in the previous games because they were basically close quarter fighters. For his play-style, I can see him potentially being an anti-zoner allowing you to close the gap between you and your opponent using the puzzle box to summon hooked chains to attack and of course with fatalities from him either using deadly torture tactics and/or calling on other cenobites to do some serious damage. It would be cool too if he gets one of the cenobites as a kameo fighter along with him since you can't just have him and not another cenobite be in the mix.

@@brayanrodriguez-monterrey it would have to be, I wouldn’t consider any of the jigsaw personas to be a fighter, they usually use a lot of dirty tricks to capture their prey, and then of course let all of the devices they designed do all the death and torture, and then of course Billy the puppet is nothing but just a representation of John Kramer‘s child who unfortunately died in the womb, but jigsaw could be used cleverly as a cameo, with a torture devices being used as a way to come in and jar the opponent. And of course what is every jigsaw torture device if not just a fatality waiting to happen
I actually had a thought about how they could make Chucky work, seeing how in the later half of the franchise he’s able to essentially clone himself they could make him be three Chucky’s stacked on top of one another to get him up to the right height

Michael Myers has always been at the top of my list. Many people don't realize how stealthy and strong he is. The only problem is the license holders of Michael are INCREDIBLY strict.
Chucky as a kameo would also be how I could see him working the best. His moves would be crazy too.
And Ghostface is all but confirmed considering the leaks.
Apparently ghostface has further confirmation in the form of dialogue from data discovered in the game code. Omni Man says "he has no time for movies". He also says something about playing games which points to Jigsaw.
Imagine if Ed Boom decides to do a Halloween Kombat Pack, where he also adds in all of the Legacy Guest Characters to be in MK1. Imagine the new updated version of Jason Voorhees, or Predator in modern graphics, with their original costumes returning back of course? If Ed Boom brings them back again, that would mean all Guest Characters are back on the table for the return in future fighting game sequels.
Forgets one deal falls off everything on that pack is ruin.

Jigsaw As A Kameo Would Go Crazy, Imagine His Traps Latching On To Your Opponent, and They Had To Press A Specific Button To Get Them Off which Would Leave Them Open To Attacks (Like In The Saw Games), And his Kameo Fatality / Fatal Blow Could Be The Reverse Beartrap Thing (I Dont know what its Called)
Ghostface as a MK 1 character would literally be the best thing ever. Especially with all the special moves, combos, fatal blow, fatalities, brutalities that he could have and don't even get me started on the customization part of him. Imagine unlocking and being able to rock the red Ghostface mask with the devil horns on it, like from his comic. Shit would be so fire 🔥

Seeing the unused characters are super exciting. I'm soo happy Boon has Pinhead, Chucky & Michael on the list. Those are all top 3 from me.
For me it's Michael Myers and Pinhead, if we can get just one of them that will be amazing. Also loved your suggestions for Ghostface and Chucky, and you're totally right about Michael as well as Omni-Man and Homelander.

If Jigsaw was in the game then apparently what would rather work is without playing John Kramer (Which is the old man), you can just play as the apprentices or copycats who are can rather be as Jigsaw like Mark Hoffman, Logan Nelson, Amanda Young or William Schenk (from Spiral The Book Of Saw). Also Jigsaw does traps and weapons like a hidden blade, a syringe needle, a chloroform stained fabris and/or a spiked baseball bat (Which has been used in Saw The Video Game by the unnamed Pig Mask Guy). Plus not to mention that one of Jigsaw’s apprentices which is Amanda Young was in Dead By Daylight as a killer.

Ok, I have a thought. You want Ryu in MK1 and that’s awesome, that would be cool. HOWEVER, if they genuinely wanna break that barrier, I say they should put Akuma in the game. His fighting style revolves around murder and he is the one guy in SF who fits the vibe of MK.
Also, he’s already crossed over into the Tekken games so it wouldn’t be that big of a surprise to see him in Mortal Kombat.

Jill Valentine or Nemesis would probably be a safer approach for a Capcom crossover tbh. Street Fighter characters have a slim to no chance in a Mortal Kombat game

What if Ghostface had customizations where you can have his mask off and you can customize it so it can be all the previous ghost faces from scream, 1 2 3 4 5 6.

I'm lowkey cool on the slasher type characters. I definitely wanna see more creatures and supernatural beings like Pinhead be utilized because there's so much more potential with them. I'd even say Pinhead could be the first horror movie character to come with a kameo fighter with that being any of the other cenobites just to make another horror villain's dlc release so much more cooler. On another note, it's cool seeing Mortal Kombat be able to house the iconic horror villains we know since the days of Terrordome 1 and 2 (IFYKYK) considering each game's rosters consist of some of those characters already.
Additional side note: The doll's name is Billy. I can't see them using the doll as a fighter for obvious reasons. Maybe one of John Kramer's understudies, a.k.a. the ones who wear the pig masks to select their victims to put through the torturous trials a.k.a. the Jigsaw killer(s).

Jigsaw and Chuckie would be hard to do that's why I can see them as Kameo fighters. Of course this comment is before the end of the video lol. Pinhead could also play like Ghostface as well with his own assists, I think Pinhead has the MOST potential and best move set out of all of them. No horror character on this list could beat Pinhead one on one and it's not even fair
JIG SAW could be really dope. especially how jigsaw is all about brutal and gore. it fits into mortal kombat SO well

@@bearminthos still pretty basic compared to everyone else who have SOME special abilities. The only good thing (and that's reaching) would be customization with the countless Ghostface masks like the one from scary movie, or the variants from any Halloween store
While I think Myers and Ghostface would play similarly, I trust that the devs would make them different enough that they won't have the same playstyle (ex. Robocop and Rambo). Jigsaw being in the game would be awesome though!! Just think of all the traps that could be used for fatal blows, brutalities, and fatalities.
How would Myers and Ghostface play similarly? They're nothing alike, Myers is big and hulking, Ghostface is just a normal dude.
@@BigJackHorner2023 In that aspect, they’re different. I just meant that they’d probably use fists and knives in most of their attacks. Though I trust NR to make them unique enough should they both make it into the game (like Myers can have more grapples and Ghostface uses more weapons/have another Ghostface for support).

@@bjgray7954 he eats adults to as seen in it chapter 2. But he mainly goes after kids bc they scare the easiest. They don’t have to follow the lore completely to a tee when it comes to him only being powerful with fear. I mean Johnny cage is an actor and he competes with gods. Also pennywise could have a similar thing to johnnys hype meter but in a fear meter.

I'm most excited for Michael, Ghostface and Pinhead. Also, I have an idea for one of Ghostface's Fatalities: it could be a similar thing to how Kabal takes off his mask, screams, and scares the soul out of his opponent's body. But for Ghostface, he could pull out a megaphone, or something, yell the word, "Wazzup!", as a nod to Scary Movie 1, and the noise would tear off each layer of the opponent's body, until all that's left is the skeleton. That would be something I'd like to see. But we'll just have to wait and see.

Ghostface has been datamined on the PC version of the game for a bit, and I hope the actors for Billy and Stu voice the ending of the game (that’s who I’m thinking they will use in MK1).
Out of the ones Ed Boon teased, I’m hoping for Ghostface and Pinnhead.
But I’m really hoping for Alucard from Hellsing to show up in MK1. You can do so much with his move set, Mugen has done him already and it’s pretty good. He’s in COD now and a lot of people are trying COD because of him so what if he was in MK1, that would bring a lot of people to try MK1

I feel like each Mortal Kombat DLC roster had a theme to it. MKX was horror characters, MK11 was 80s action heroes, & now MK1 focuses on anti-heroes. Jigsaw kind of fits both the horror and anti-hero aesthetic so it’ll probably be him.
My best guess would be that it will be Myers and reveal date is Halloween 23, which - what a coincident - is just in a month
Personally I think jigsaw would be perfect, the main fighter could be Mark Hoffman, and he could play like joker, meaning he could bring out the billy puppet and beat you up with it, like there is many options for saw and Hoffman, I pray that Ed Boon puts saw in because it would be perfect if they do it correctly 🙏

If you have seen the datamines for MK1, you know which one of those characters is most likely coming.
I never really thought of ghostface as a horror villain. Just regular people, although insane, in a Halloween costume. Same with jigsaw. Horror villains, to me, have some supernatural things about them.

Michael is the most iconic horror villain, and has only been in one game. He desperately needs more game appearances, and MK would be perfect especially since the movie and TV rights are up for bid right now.
