It wasn’t good for business. Multiple guys got hurt. Dr Death was recently signed and it killed his run before it even began. It also killed any momentum Bart would have had because he got KO’d. Not one WWE guy came out looking better afterwards. That means it’s a failure. It didn’t even show us who was good at fighting because the rules were so stupid. Having to get off a dude immediately after taking him down? What’s even the point? Better to just make it a kickboxing match.
No it didn't. It wasn't on PPV, for one. Second of all, the only person that got over was Bart and they immediately killed that by doing nothing with him in the ensuing months. Third, any tickets sold to the events where BfiA happened would have sold regardless because the WWF was ascendant. Fourth and finally, the ratings weren't good for BfiA at any point, and on some nights Nitro benefitted (this was when it was still a ratings war).
Because he had no plans after it not to mention everyone got hurt and they kept changing the rules. Bart won and got over then Russo took him off tv because “he didn’t know what to do with him” then he brings him back 7 months later and jobs him out to bob Holly (the same Holly we saw Bart beat the f up in BFA) then puts him in a boxing match with Butterbean. Russo is a hack clown. It would have been better to just have Bart go on a dominant streak after winning BFA. Then have Dr Death (not in a stupid kabuki mask) return and attack him then just have those to WRESTLE at WM15. Simple booking101. It would’ve been better too.
The fans came to watch wrestling not a horrible display of MMA fights kinda that's why they bull it and that's no knock on the wrestlers they were in wrestling mode not fighting mode I just wonder how many guys could of beat butterbean if they made it to him which by the way was one of the absolute worst events in all of WrestleMania smh

As much as Russo annoys me, I actually thought the "Brawl for All" was great. Not sure why it's considered such a disaster. The point of Pro Wrestling is selling tickets/PPV sales....it did that.
Don’t understand why he wasn’t a bigger star, I guess maybe he just wasn’t good on the mic

Steve enjoying that Colombian marching powder 🔥
The fans came to watch wrestling not a horrible display of MMA fights kinda that's why they bull it and that's no knock on the wrestlers they were in wrestling mode not fighting mode I just wonder how many guys could of beat butterbean if they made it to him which by the way was one of the absolute worst events in all of WrestleMania smh
Dude 6 days ago? Mr. Blackman does not age at all.. wow.
This interview is from 2007
@KingC89 did not know that, thanks pal!
Hello
Does anyone know where all the black printer ink went?
*COCAINE!*
👍
Does anybody else think Steve looks like Wolverine
Steve Cokeman
In a real life brawl for all,
Cody Rhodes would be EASILY beaten by any random construction worker
The average construction worker isn’t beating a former two time georgia state champ bro.
Cody is a former two time state Champion and had a scholarship to wrestle at Penn State but chose to go Pro, in your dreams is some average construction worker beating Cody Rhodes 😂😂
@@kevthegoat8774 Maybe he meant Steven Regal as that "A Real Man's Man" gimmick.
Shut up casual he would tie you up in a pretzel within seconds
No one cares about that embarrassing affair....lol
He was so disappointing in Brawl4All
It was disappointing watching a boxer get taken down with ease multiple times?
Huh? Dude he fucking dominated the best boxer in the whole tournament. He would have easily won the whole thing had he not gotten hurt.
And if kicks had been allowed, he would have ended dudes careers.
@@marioargiropoulos7555Blackman wouldn’t have won. He wasn’t a great striker and would get lit up by Bart or Godfather. He’s not out wrestling Bart or Severn.
He's on coke here
I don't think I'd want to mess with a coked up Steve Blackman
Who tf cares, especially if you aren't hurting anyone and an adult.
Was that a known thing for him? I thought the same thing
Bs smh
You don’t want to mess with him under any circumstances.

Blackman was incredibly dull. If you took him out of late 90’s WWF it would change nothing. I was watching everything at the time, I was on my early twenties, never missed any of the shows and PPV’s and I can’t remember a single Blackman match. If Steve was such a bad ass (yup I’ve heard the stories) he should have gone in to MMA.
Why do mma when you can make way more money in WWE? There’s a reason guys like Shamrock and Severn went to WWE when they could have stayed in UFC. Just like Tank Abbott going to WCW. There was no money in the UFC back then.
@@marioargiropoulos7555 Bingo! Early MMA paid like sh!t. People got their heads bashed in for chump change.
MMA still pays like sh!t, except at the "in the title picture"-level, in relation to the massive risks and inevitable damage. Talk about a business that's even filthier and more corrupt than both boxing and pro wrestling...
Despite his half-jobber run his matches were entertaining. Try to watch it by your eyes instead of your ass.
I didn't believe him then, and I still don't believe him now
