Dear Kino I have been following your teaching for a number of years and always learn something. When I began Hatha yoga over 40 years ago I couldn’t touch my toes. You are inspirational, and I am so grateful that you share the love that you embody. Even though we are thousands of miles apart is always a joy to meet you on the mat.
So many good tips from these videos. Been doing the standing number four with some bend in the knees, today i got a lot out of your modification by standing in half lotus and just working on feeling that external rotation of the hip. Thanks, that felt really challenging in a gentle way!
I find the forward bend with this pose very difficult on one side of my body. The modifications help a lot. I am sure I will improve with practice. Thank you Kino.
Hello, I love your videos and this series! I stopped practicing last may after a year of practicing Mysore style because of my shoulder, hip, and knee injuries. I cannot find a way to continue to practice when there's a flair up! I have been even more curious about the practice because of my injuries and would like to know if you have any videos/resources or tips on how to get back into the practice of ashtanga with awareness of preventing injury (specifically in the shoulders from all of the flows and asanas that are shoulder heavy!) much love, sav
