Sweetest string arrangement ever. James Jamerson is masterful on bass.
Motown did have some good string arrangements in their songs. And Jamerson needs no further comment. haha He was in a league all his own.
Legendary James Jamerson
Those STRINGS!
A Heavenly Treasure!! What a wonderful find I found today!
AND I FELL IN LOVE ALL OVER AGAIN
That BASS!
Virtuoso musicianship happening here!
This music is hot again ❤❤❤❤❤
This music 🎶 was never cold🎼
The game of love
Is such a beautiful game
If you've got time, little girl
I'd like to explain
All the do's and dont's
All the will's and wont's
So lend an ear, darling dear
(Sweet darling dear)
Do be sincere
And true love will appear
Don't be shy
Or love will pass you by
If you will
My whole heart you may steal
If you don't
The game of love you lose alone
Do be sincere
And true love will appear
Don't be shy
Or love will pass you by
If you will
My whole heart you may steal
If you don't
The game of love you lose alone
First I'll place my arms
So gently around you
(Then)
Then whisper darling I'm so glad I found you
Then your lips of wine
Are softly touched with mine
A kiss we'll steal, darling dear
(Sweet darling)
Darling, darling dear, yeah
(Sweet darling dear)
Darling dear
(Sweet darling dear)
(Sweet darling dear)
Darling dear

I found a Google Drive list full of Michael Jackson multitracks if you are interested.
I pretty much already know where to find them. But thanks for letting me know. btw, what do you think of this mix? I'm not sure how happy I am with it so it'd be nice to get some outside input.
@@RingoStarr39 Admittedly I haven't heard this song before (it's really good!), so I'll just compare it to the original right now. The balance is really good, I'd bring up the conga up a few decibels. The main thing though is I would definitely bring the treble up on it. I don't know if you have iZotope RX7, but an EQ match to the original would probably do the trick, with a few adjustments. Thanks for introducing the song to me, the list I found doesn't have it so I might try to track these multitracks down.
I'm currently redoing my "Never Can Say Goodbye" mix for a third time, trying to remain a lot more faithful to the original.
@@StereoClassics The conga track has quite a bit of microphone leakage from everything else, so bringing them up too much effected the balance. The treble is a bit lacking but unfortunately the multitracks have tape hiss that was emphasized when I tried to increase the treble. And you know about my stance on using NR.
@@RingoStarr39 I was just being nit-picky since you had asked. It sounds very good and you should be happy with it. That's interesting about the multitracks though, these leaked MJ multitracks are usually very high quality.
@@StereoClassics Thanks. Most of them are high quality but occasionally certain tracks have more tape hiss than others. Especially ones that were originally recorded low in volume. The next Jackson 5 instrumental I plan on mixing is I Wanna Be Where You Are, unless you planned on doing it too.
Es necesario que este instrumental esté en Spotify
