  • Episode 1 of the video blog of our 3 nights on board Aurora with P & O Cruises, May 2024. I show our journey to Southampton, the hotel where we stayed, the check-in and embarkation process our first day on board and our visit to Brugge.
We found other vlogs very useful in making the decision about whether to try cruising, and which cruise lines to try first. One of the channels that helped us was @tipsfortravellers which is mentioned in this video. This series is an attempt to pay it forward and provide information for others, it is not an attempt to entertain.

Think I will stick to the Saga ships, 😁. What do you think? Did you meet Paul and Carol at all (also you tubers)?

Hello Gillian. Yes, for our main holiday we will stick with Saga and have booked another Saga cruise for next year - Historic Ports of Western Europe. Have you booked another Saga cruise? Would we book another P & O cruise? Yes, for a short City Break I think it's fine. Yes, we did bump in to Paul and Carol at the last breakfast in the buffet, and had a good chat. We love their RUclips videos. Will.

Hello, yes we have booked Idyllic Norway for end of August and Casablanca and the Canaries next year. Hope you have a great time on yours. We enjoy Paul and Carol too. Best wishes

We used to cruise with P&O until 2012, never again. Carnival have destroyed P&O.

We heard so many people saying same thing, how poor P and O cruises have become

Hello Geoff, yes that figures. We tried this taster cruise as we were wondering whether we could go on a two week main holiday with P & O Cruises. No, probably not.@@geoff1201
