I did have fun playing vanguard multiplayer and warzone with the boys, but I am still waiting for a true next gen, serious, AAA, WW2 game…. Also, great video!
Totally agreed, it was just simple fun for a modern cod game. I think modern warfare 2019 took the #1 spot but vanguard was definitely over hated because people assumed it would be from the start.
I think the problem with vanguard's gunsmith is that you can make every weapon feel the exact same with the right attachements. This removes the uniqueness of the guns
@@jeffrezmarrid5308 i see this perspective, but in my opinion the guns in black ops feel exactly the same already, in the start, and you can't change them much at all, so it's like a preference thing again. (i did notice you can influence aiming down sight speed a lot, that's cool)
I should not be able to cram .50 BMG in a BAR. Or 12.7 HE in an MG-42. Could do this with every gun but you get the point. Not to mention the fact that you can take an extremely rare revolving shotgun, and just “nuh-uh” a magazine right through the center of it
@@metalhead522 this is completely valid and i assume correct criticism, i don't know anything about guns though (like i would assume 96% of the players), so i didn't say anything about it. But if you're someone really into guns, i completely understand that you would take offence at this stuff
I disagree with almost every point in the vid, but at the end there you are especially wrong about the campaigns. BO6 has its action moments, but its the time in between where you're doing the walking, exploring, immersive sim esc stuff that allows you to really take in the game world and spend time with the characters. This is the exact same for old school cod too, like in cod 4 one of the best missions is where you're crawling around in a ghillie suit slowly dodging vehicles and patrolling soldiers, only for the action to pick up later on. its preference based, but to say that EVERYONE loves COD campaigns being a Hollywood action movie is very wrong. Some of the franchises best campaign missions and features have been where the game stops being an ADHD shooting gallery and you can slow down to, for example, in COD WW2 infiltrate a German HQ under the cover of night using fake papers, or explore the vastly detailed safehouse of Black Ops Cold War, or infiltrate the damn KGB headquarters in that game even. All highlights of COD campaigns that involve very little action!
@@zzzzzzzzzzzzzz-w8u thank you for your comment i really appreciate it! Maybe i should have been more clear about my hollywood action movie thing. I don't mean just nonstop Michael bay shootouts (although even that would be preferable to what I've seen in black ops 6), but I'm talking about cinematic moments. All ghillied up is indeed one of the best missions probably, but it's absolute cinema, it's so intense. In black ops i hated walking around so much, especially around the base. I don't wanna walk to the drawing board to pick a mission, then walk to the table where you can improve your weapons etc. But okay that's just the base stuff, but even in missions there's stuff like the senator detective mission. Idk, nothing intense or fun about it. That's what i meant. Thank you really, for taking the time to write all this.
@@kaliyuuu That's ok, I do appreciate your thoughtful analysis and I think you're on the money when it comes to things like attachments and balance. Great video regardless of disagreements!
Yeah 10 attachments were a headache for vanguard but it is still way better than the customisation system in BO6 where they have just removed all character and fun in gunsmith. They are hell bent on having attachments with pro but no cons. It ruins the idea of gunsmith.
@@armaangarg2217 I'm assuming they wanted something really balanced, but idk i am not a pro, i don't care about balancing as long as it's like not a HUGE problem
@@GGLord69701 of course people have preferences. A lot goes into what makes good gun play, i think. Even stuff you wouldn't think matters, matters. For example, i liked the hitmarker sound in vanguard more. But yeah i still think overall shooting is more satisfying in BO6. And with omnimovement, it feels nice to me, but it maybe does make the game a bit too arcade-y

Yes, BO 6 broke my immersion, so I didn't buy it

BO6 gameplay is not better guns are quiet and the visual recoil is bad omni movement feels soo bad in keyboard.
