Pat, I have the same problem with my avocado trees. I cut one back and it came back beautifully and then the same problem started again. All my citrus leaves are curling too though I have fruits on some. My pepper plants having ants and that white sticky thing you talked about. I did found some of that insect on my cherry tree and I cut off the branch. Ants too are on mine. I got so tired of battling with these pests. My mulberry tree leaves are chewed up don't know what is eating that while some of my veggies are struggling to grow in this heat. Won't plant anything more unless it's ground food. The struggle is real. Thanks for sharing . 😊
Yes! It's a battle but don't give up. Try the Neem oil. Stay on top of the pests before they get out of control so you don't have to cut back your plants. Don't give up!
