It’s universally acknowledged that while all of vocal line shines in Japanese songs, Jin and Tae especially shine the brightest. They manage to convey and emote the feelings of the songs the strongest and most vividly. Also their pronunciation is the best. I also love rap lines melodic rap. The thing I love most about their Japanese songs is the fairer distribution… I also love that in most of the songs Tae and JK do call and answer responses in the lyrics, which adds a beauty to it. While the stage mix is good I have to say it’s a crime that this stage mix cuts off the full shot. You should watch their performances in the colourful clothes from the 5th Japanese musters in full. Especially of Let Go. Tae in Centre is something to behold he’s so pretty in the performance. All of them and their fits are amazing. And Maknae Line thigh grab = no one left alive. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Let Go is one of my favorite BTS songs, but it's also a very sad song to me. This song came out the same year as Outro: Tear, in 2018. In 2020, They released the series and movie for Breaking the Silence. During the series, Yoongi stated that Outro: Tear was about their feelings about the possibility of breaking up. I already knew that the pain described in the song was about genuine feelings over something, because there was just too much pain in the song, especially when they performed it live. In the Breaking the Silence movie, Yoongi commented that JK almost left the group and that he was grateful that JK changed his mind. At least, I think it was that movie. I only saw it once in theaters. To me, there are a number of hints in Let Go to support that possibility. The song speaks of going from "stereo to mono", many to one, and at the very end of the choreo, JK walks away from the rest of the group. It also speaks of letting someone go so that he can fly. A very beautiful song, but it breaks my heart every time.

Don't Leave Me and Your Eyes Tell are some of my favs. Their Japanese songs are more ballad forward I feel which really lets the vocal line, Jin especially, BELT OUT DEM NOTES!

Japan is known as TaeTae land as he is the most popular kpop idol in Japan. And as a result we are blessed with Tae getting more lines for Japanese songs (in the old day) plus we got to see him in the centre for the dance routine in let go. Japanese really suits his soulful vocals. And Jin also gets to shine in Japan as well. My favourite songs by bts are the Japanese songs from the old albums.
