Too bad it's not on Windows 10. That'd bring back lots of memories for me if so. All these PC games from the early 2000's were so much fun and very distinctive compared to console games.
What I love about this track, is how at first, it sounds like a random mish-mash of notes, but the further it goes, the more it reveals itself to be actual music.
I don't understand why people _________ the video. They had to DELIBERATELY look for this video. It's EXACTLY as described, it's even the same music from the game.
You don't understand my burning hatred for this tune. For years I searched for this video to leave a dislike and a nasty comment because this song is worthy of my scorn.
The melody is so melancholic, serious and sad. It does not work at all when there's this goofy cartoon dude giving you thumbs up on the side banner. Then again, in the retail version there's a realistic looking space ship instead of the goofy cartoon guy, and that looks so much better and fits the overall theme better.

Same here, until I realized the option for music was actually unchecked. But that was years ago when I found that out, therefore this song is still nostalgic for me.
Beautiful memories. I was 5 year old kid with no internet living beside a mountainside village. Back in my pre-school days, my mom would take me to the computer labs, the only place where there would be internet. My friends played Club Penguin, while I messed around Microsoft Paint and played Miniclip games. But at the time when it was time to go home, I'd open up my computer and start playing Spider Solitaire and 3D Space Cadet. If my mom has to work on some documents on Microsoft Word, I'd play on the Super Game VCD 300 where there are tons of NES games... Ah, I could go on and on...
I played this with my dad back in 2008. My little sister was born, we moved to a bigger place, and I was given my first computer. We didn't get internet for a couple of weeks, so we played this together, trying to beat each other's high scores. He is still with us, but damn, those were the days.
Days turn into weeks, weeks turn into months, and months turn into years. And years turn into decades, and in the end, they're childhood memories of when life was far simpler, when we were just getting over a certain event that went down in that timeline. We were kids. We didn't know. We didn't need to worry. We had school, and classic PC games with colorful art and great music. Everything then was great. So what happened? We grew up.
And thank god I grew up, personally I wouldn't want to go back to when I was a kid even if I could, my shitty childhood deserves to be left and forgotten for good
And then you die and then decades turn into centuries and centuries turn into millennia and millennia turn into eons and then the earth gets destroyed.
