Would take forever to see the city,I've been here nearly 50 years and still run into areas I've never been anywhere near! It's over 409 square miles! Larger than Dallas Texas and you can fit Chicago and Detroit within Indianapolis! Crazy huh,, Google square miles and check it out! Marion county Indiana and Indianapolis covers the whole county.
I was born in St. Vincent Hospital, at its former site just on the northside of downtown. It has since moved to the suburbs, and about 15 years after I came into the world, the building was transformed into a mental hospital. How many people can say they were born in a mental hospital! 😄😄😄
I remenber going to the Lucas Oil stadium once here in indianapolis watching the NBA game and the Wizard of Oz on Ice back in the 90s. The butler university here was also worth visiting seeing the African American Ensemble back in my grade school years. The good old city of downtown indianapolis brings back so many memories for me! Love indy!
I want to thank you for driving Indianapolis and seeing Lucas Oil Stadium and the State Capitol building. Since I am not familiar with the city, did you drive by the arena where the Pacers play? I am not sure. Was it the big building in the beginning of your vlog. It kind of looked like Lucas Oil Stadium, but then you turned the corner and there was the stadium.
Yes, I replayed it right where you told me it was and I thought it might have been the building. Thank you very much for your response and telling me where to find it.
Indianapolis has become more big city-like than in the days when D.C. Stephenson's klan ran all the immigrants, religious minorities and innovative thinkers out and turned Indy into a bland, sterile, provincial small town. I'm glad the city is more diverse and free thinking and with more cultural life and restaurants, but it also has horrendous problems and drawbacks. I do enjoy visiting Indianapolis' downtown, though.
That Delaware-Pennsykvannia St couplet looks like a nice ride through downtown Indianapolis.
very nice modern city, well we saw a little of everything.

Was born downtown there. Lived on the north side for 20+ years. Finally moving back soon from Arizona. Can’t wait!!

I missed my home town.
1:50 Ascension/St. Vincent Center. Is that perhaps the former St. Vincent Hospital? If so, that's where I was born.

No people.
The city has a population of 870k and a metro of 2million
There’s plenty of people in Indy and it’s metro
2.6 million combined metro population has passed both Cincinnati and Kansas City combined metro areas. Pittsburgh next within 5 years.
I think they are talking about how much people are walking on the streets
