Ridley is definitely a space animal, he’s a space pirate dragon and he has a projectile neutral B, a horizontally travelling side B and a charging up b that can then go into one of multiple directions
ngl this made me realize how rare it has become to see Wolf in bracket at bigger events, but then again I am mainly watching those when Larry is doing watchparties so I probably am not seeing all majors that are going on

During the early days of Rona, Larry would do daily uploads where he plays Spacies against his friends and he showed that he's made Fox and Falco become Meta Characters. Even after that, more players like Tilde have shown to precisely execute combos with them at ease, even when playing online. I lack Wolf knowledge in Smash, but I just know that his playstyle is significantly different from Fox and Falco.
THANK YOU FOR THE WOLF OPINION. He is not meta anymore. I have had this opinion since 2023. He's just a MU check type of character, but if someone knows the MU he gets beat. He isn't cheesy/broken enough to warrant a meta pick. Plus he lacks in results as he has been falling off over the seasons. He loses to a lot of meta-relavent characters like Steve, Kazuya, insert swordfighter here, etc. The MUs that are "even" could still feel like losing sometimes as well.
Where did I say he couldn't nair a lot? I said he doesn't have a move like Falco nair where he can easily get a combo in a lot of cases, but that he has moves that come close
@@LarryLurr I feel like we’re saying the same thing differently haha. To me Fox nair and Falco nair have equal amounts of uses just in different situations. But also dash attack, spaced down tilt and down air all kind of achieve that combo starter potential while remaining safe, not to mention the ability to mix up through either timing or crossing up. I could also be viewing it as his entire kit having much more potential as opposed to just Falco Nair having more variance overall within one move.

Fox has mix ups and other things he can do, yes, but I'm talking about strictly comboing not mix ups so that's irrelevant. Even then I mentioned Fox's mix up capabilities later when it was actually relevant to what I was saying. As a singular move for starting or extending combos Falco's nair is better than anything Fox has, but Fox has moves that come close. Again, never said Fox couldn't use nair in a lot of cases, have no idea how that was your take away lol. Clearly it's amazing in neutral, pressuring, etc. but not the point of what I was saying

Just a spectator here (I don't compete at tournaments), but I am wondering why you think Wolf struggles to KO worse than Falco. I've seen Tilde lose several sets he should have won cuz he struggled to KO the final stock of an opponent who then killed Falco with rage. By contrast, I've seen Ouch, Jakal, and some other Wolf mains at Coinbox do very well against meta characters like Steve. Several Wolf mains have gotten top 8 at Coinxbox recently and Ouch/Jakal have done well in 2023 onwards. Of course, Tilde carries the Falco meta (Larry does well too) but I've always felt like Falco struggles to kill way more than Wolf or Fox.
Wolf struggles to confirm into kills relative to Fox and Falco. He has amazing kill power, but his ways of comboing into his kill moves are a lot more limited than the other spacies. I don't think he struggles to kill per se just that he lacks consistent tools to combo into his kill moves like the other 2 have. Like I said in the video a lot of his confirms come from landing fair, which can be predictable
