- Hello, how are you? Hope everyone is well, healthy, and happy.
Been quite a week here with a birthday and a bit of storm damage to the house to sort out. But oh well, that's the way it goes.

Glad you didn't get too much damage, rotten storms. Never a great time for them, but the second day of a new year felt especially cruel.

Happy New year! Sorry to hear about the storm damage. I'm hearing a lot about the storms sweeping over your side of the big water...so much upheaval and damage. We have a post-Christmas birthday here too...January 3rd for our Eldest...it rather tends to sneak up so i try to be organized ahead of time. "Try" being the operative word :). xo
Happy New Year! No, not the greatest start to the year, but it could have been worse. I honestly thought we were going to find a big hole in the roof from the noise it made.
I totally understand the sneaking up of the birthday! January bd's seem to get lost in the debris of Christmas, I feel bad for anyone with a bd in the first week of Jan. It's the 2nd Jan for us, and even though I know and I remind myself often, the amount of times it feels like a real rush to get organised for it. x
