- We saw this new lure first at ICAST 2024. Then we had @InformativeFisherman on the podcast recently, and he explained the design to us. So of course, we had to pick it up and try for ourselves! This is the Big Bite Baits BSE or Best Skipper Ever. To be honest, I (Jeff) suck at skipping lures... This lure, makes skipping and learning skipping lures SO EASY! Try it for yourself!

What is your favorite lure for skipping under docks?
Would have to know how to.skip to answer that
@Jannakennels this would be the lure to learn with!
Great video!! Will have to try those all out
🙌 Thanks!
I fish the zoom toads often. I use a 5/0 extra heavy hook to keep it running true.
I should start looking around at other toads. I’m an older dude kinda stuck in his ways. 😂
Always fun to try new things! I'll try a heavier hook and see what happens
Despite the tough toad flipping, I have managed to hook plenty fish with it upside down with just the draw of the legs floppin
We have caught on it upside down and rightside up, so you are correct!
You’ll go that far bro, go to my stories I just boated another 7+lb today on it! BSE is an unreal fish catcher period… great vid fellas!
🙌
That thing looks like a giant tick. Gives me the shivers.
Give bass the hunger pangs tho
Big tick energy
Nice catches
Another cool video guys keep up the amazing work!!! Tight lines !!!
Thanks!
When I first saw that BSE on Tackle Warehouse my first thought was ozark, hover, or free rig.
You could try that. It just meant to be weightless on a 5/0 hook
The BSE defiantly looks good. Going to rig it on a screwlock hook instead of the EWG.
I may try that as well!
Notice those little knifes on you jackets can I have info on where to get them please?
NRS Co Pilot knife
@@aaanglers thank you guys!!
Hey AAA guys love the videos and the podcast . Would you recommend throwing the tough toad exclusively on a medium heavy or do you think it could work a traditional heavy stick frog rod ?
Typical frog setup is fine, it’s not as heavy as most hollow bodies but it’s close
Listen to Informative Fisherman! He made the thing. I used both a medium heavy and heavy stick
Have yall ever use xcite baits and lures and a great video
Thanks! A few of them, not our go to
@@aaanglers just wondering if had i have some of the swimbaits having got to really use them thank you
Just my two cents about your comments in the video of losing baits. I personally will never use a palomar knot with fluorocarbon again. There are many knots that are available and that I have used with fluorocarbon that are all better than the palomar. Pick the one you like to tie. I've had so many palomars break at the knot, never again. It's a great knot for braid.
99% of the time I just use an improved clinch and it has worked fine. I broke off twice in this video. once on improved clinch and once on palomar. What do you suggest over those?
@@aaanglers I have used the improved clinch primarily for years. I have recently discovered the Jansik knot (spelling?), it's easy to tie. I've seen studies saying it's stronger the improved clinch. I haven't used it enough yet to be sure of it yet. Maybe I was just triggered by hearing of a break palomar with fluoro. I once had 5 breaks in one day.
What brand and type knife do u have on PFD?
Nrs co pilot
@@martyrico7647 I use the BKK Armor Point 5/0 EWG they will be coming out shortly. Insanely strong and crazy sharp!
a lightly weighted keel hook solves your upside down problem,
Will try!
