- In this video, I am bass fishing using a 6" swimbait, and i end up catching the BIGGEST BASS I have caught in 2 years! Urban pond fishing for huge bass is as fun as it gets!

I always keep a bottle of carbonated water with me in case I hook a fish the way you hooked the first one. It instantly clots the blood coming the fishes wounds and stops the bleeding. I’ve saved a few Muskies from bleeding out that way. I didn’t believe it until I actually tried it, and it works better than I ever thought it would.
I always use coke or Dr Pepper same thing but with sugar and stuff in it
Sprite or 7Up works the best or ginger ale

I love seeing ponds like that which are so well managed, it has conditions that make freaks of nature like that exist.
That’s true it’s a shame so many anglers get yelled at tryna fish some of the urban places like this

Awesome job & one hell of a day when you have one of those days when pure luck is on your side . Those were some fine ass fish. To find beasts this size in a pond is just fantastic. The River is always the challenge but farm ponds & even local ones you never know you will catch anything close to these monsters . Well played TY.
Most of the fish you catch look exceptionally big and you really know how to use camera angles to make them appear even bigger.
However, it would be nice to see what they weigh on a quality digital scale.
Second this, ty can make 5-7 pounders look like 12+ all day. I want to see him bust out the scale.
Yeah, the thumbnail looks like a giant but when I saw video, maybe 7 or 8. not the double digit that I thought
My thoughts exactly.....in my comment I told him my protocol, measure the fish and immediately return it to the water.

Please show your fish if yours is bigger than his. You sound like local brickies that talk smack and cant perform at go time. Gotta be a huge let down for the ladies.
I always love the fact you prove you don't need a 70,000 bass boat and 5,000 in gear to catch a monster bass. A decent rod,reel, and the right lure right in the middle of a big city. Keep the lines tight.
But you do.
Bass fishing will change forever if you have a decent boat.
Period.

Great video, I learned a lot today that I`ll try in the very near future. Thanks for sharing, maybe try using a digital scale to get an idea of the fishes weight. They were all nice, the big one looked to be in the 7 to 8 lb. class, beautiful fish.

I love urban fishing. Most don't think about it, then ones that do usually don't use lures. Use anything they haven't seen and it's on. There's a pond i go to for awesome top water action

why are you multiple years into this and STILL don't carry a scale for recording the weights?
@taterrhead, a few videos ago, Ty said: “I’ve caught fish where I can see their gills have been damaged by other anglers’ scales. This is why I don’t weigh the fish I catch.”

I got my scale by Rapala. It's a reputable company. Hopefully, I'll catch nice fish to weight. I'm sure I will as it gets warmer. 😊

@@TyPigPatrol what area of country are you fishing in? I'm originally from southwest Ohio, born & raised. Lived their up until almost 2 years ago now. We moved to southern SC. Bass fishing is much better down here, catch a lot bigger largmouth & crappie for sure!

I know what you mean about retiring lures. I retire every bait I catch a 5 or better on and put a tag on it with the weight. Keep catching the bigs Ty, great video!
