I always love the fact you prove you don't need a 70,000 bass boat and 5,000 in gear to catch a monster bass. A decent rod,reel, and the right lure right in the middle of a big city. Keep the lines tight.
But you do.
Bass fishing will change forever if you have a decent boat.

Fishing in a prime time pond is the most important part of the equasion.
I love seeing ponds like that which are so well managed, it has conditions that make freaks of nature like that exist.
That’s true it’s a shame so many anglers get yelled at tryna fish some of the urban places like this

I have a pond like this near me full of giants. It’s not managed by anyone, except the fish. Try and find something deep in the woods untouched by humans
@@kurv7161I just got yelled at today after an incredible sesh. 2 massive bass between 5-10 lbs and then 3 smaller ones. As I get to the car some guy comes tripping balls. I told him call the cops then I have a license and am a resident of the neighborhood 😂

I live in Florida and the pond fishing game is the best here. I've caught hundreds of bass over 6 lbs to 12 lbs. Don't need a boat here. A small boat is nice but bank fishing will do it for sure

Great video, I learned a lot today that I`ll try in the very near future. Thanks for sharing, maybe try using a digital scale to get an idea of the fishes weight. They were all nice, the big one looked to be in the 7 to 8 lb. class, beautiful fish.

Awesome job & one hell of a day when you have one of those days when pure luck is on your side . Those were some fine ass fish. To find beasts this size in a pond is just fantastic. The River is always the challenge but farm ponds & even local ones you never know you will catch anything close to these monsters . Well played TY.

Just caught a 5.75 my dream is 8. I just got back into it after years off, and have been going consistently. But it’s only the beginning of the fishing season pretty much not really the start but yeah. I could catch an 8 if I pond hop enough and things like that maybe this year

I respect anybody's attempt to return the fish back without no least amount harm being done to the fish slam them down in the boat dragging them through the grass, long photo ops, let him go in the water and and amir him as he swim away!!!
This morning a bass hit my t rig by some weeds but I couldn’t set the hook with the right timing but I casted again and the same thing happened again. I finally caught it after 4 tries and I know it is the same fish because it was the same spot and I saw a damaged fin on the first strike and it had the same fin.
As a semi pro crappie angler myself I will give you a piece of advice. Always keep a 7UP with you when your fishing (I'm sure other soft drinks will work also). If you catch a fish that is bleeding from the gill, pour some 7UP on the bleeding gill. It will instantly stop the bleeding. An old timer showed me this trick years ago and I totally thought it was BS until i tried it. I totally works.
For me, the live scope takes the fun out fishing ,I'm with u, catching giants from the bank!

Most of the fish you catch look exceptionally big and you really know how to use camera angles to make them appear even bigger.
However, it would be nice to see what they weigh on a quality digital scale.
Second this, ty can make 5-7 pounders look like 12+ all day. I want to see him bust out the scale.

Quick 6th Sense 6"Trace hack. If you want to go a little deeper in the water column just add some lead or copper wire around the shaft of the hooks. BM hack.

Nice fish! I grew up in South Fl,the urban fishing capital! Some of the best big bass fishing was always on the Golf courses! Got to the point the local cops new us by name! 😂 no guts no glory,yeeew! For the dream!!!!

I put the bait (Lunker Lure with chartreuse and blue skirt) I caught my PB with on the wall with the mount. I get it!!! That was over 20 years ago. I'm due to break my PB.

I appreciate your concern for the fish. I wish more fisherman were like you my man. I was wondering if we put barbless hooks on our swim baits. How many would we loose due to barbless hooks.. Especially the larger baits.

I love night fishing with wakebaits in neighborhood ponds. None of them were close to that, but I can generally catch a bunch of 5lbers without even trying.
I’ll have to try that!!! Heard they are right up on the banks at night!
For whatever reason, me and my crew simply cannot get bass to take segmented swim baits or glide baits up here in the north east. Theres only a few places where crank baits are effective as well. Vermont, eastern new York and Massachusetts areas to be specific. Nice catch though man!
