Without planets to conquer, Frieza basically devolved into a petty, over-glorified mean girl.😂
Also he's way weaker than Cell and neither can kill the other. It's like a one sided No Exit since I don't think Cell cares all that much.
He's also never really spent so much time with his subordinates before which helped whatever image they have of him along (being ruthless and all.) However, they're now stuck with him with only shadows of the original power dynamic keeping them together since he can't kill them for disobedience, it's going to be interesting seeing how they react to him from now on.
I'm invested in seeing them get tired of his shit and overthrow the guy into the cocoon we saw in Super, simply because Freeza admits he will never change and having him embody that respects his character.
So... He's Janis from Mean Girls. He can't be Regina because that's Cell.
Why do I have a feeling that explains how he ended up in that cocoon thing in Resurrection F?
Not to mention he can't kill anyone so what else can he do
I like how "he bodyswapped with a frog" is considered as the most stupid reason for why Ginyu's acting like a frog.
But if he bodyswapped with the frog, would he not also got to hell in the body of the frog? If he got a new body after death, why would he behave like a frog? And if it is in fact the frog in Ginyus body, why is he in hell? What did the frog do?

If the Ginyus are still there, they’ll bully him for daring to pose as their Captain. Thing is, would Frieza believe him after the body swap? I think Frieza would just threaten to blow him up for acting like that, to *dare* to imitate one of the only people he tolerated.

I think the funniest piece is imagining that Guldo (who is canonically the biggest jerk in the Ginyu Force), was actually MARRIED and apparently CARES about his wife.

The implication that Captain Ginyu's body swap persists into the afterlife is pretty spooky. Character in DBZ have so many ways to kill you, but Ginyu is the only one who can do it in a way that leaves you fucked up for all eternity

power levels are tied to the body, so it makes sense that the frog inhabiting ginyu's body is too strong for the normal process. But the fact that it went to HIFL implies that namekian frogs have a concept of morality and this one chose to be evil.
That frog helped Super Kami Guru exterminate the Albino Namekians.

I love the detail of Nappa being in the wasteland before getting wished back to life before Cell arrives.
I love how Cell respects people's names, him shouting for Super Kami Guru wasn't necessary, but I'm sure Guru introduced himself as such and Mr. perfect Cell respects it. Because he wants that respect himself
Also kind of a low-key way that demonstrates his growing relationship with Raditz that Cell doesn't mind him just addressing him as Cell, whereas he bristles or side-eyes at anyone else doing it.

@@SHARPSPEED Thats actually also the case for Hell in canon. Canonically Hell/HFIL only punished uou when uou act out, but otherwise as long as you behave you have access to things like themeparks (yes really).
Honestly, HFIL seems near perfect for them, it’s not paradise, so they don’t get bored, but it’s an enjoyable place to be. Beyond the issue of the drinks and Ginyu (not even HFIL related) I can’t see them hating the place lol

It took me a hot second to realize that the reason Frog Ginyu keeps going after Cell is because Cell is a giant bug, and therefore something that the frog would want to eat.
I love how Cell is just mainly confused and appalled at Frieza's insult rather than mad.
Freeza trying to one-up Cell is going to be the entire reason he goes Golden in their version of the Dragon Ball universe...

The little tokusentai ringer, the fact that the ginyu house is like a frat with greek letters that spell out GIN. The fact that Cui and Nappa are just. missing. With every rewatch I find something new to love and appreciate. The amount of care put into this series is incredible

@@oreorca2528 In TFS Lore he was resurrected by the Dragon Balls since they wished back everyone killed by Freeza and his men and Vegeta was technically working for Freeza at the time he killed Nappa
But this would mean that Nappa was in hell during the Namek arc, so... Ghost Nappa was just Vegeta being properly crazed after losing to a low class wretch... yeah, okay. That fits.

I know Ginyu comes back in Resurrection F, but in the abridged canon, Vegeta crushed the frog. So, I wonder if Ginyu's body in hell is that of a frog in hell or his original form.
Considering that the frog soul got the (initially stolen) body, it would likely be that Ginyu is sitting in a small amphibian enclosure as the frog. But it does beg the question of what the frog did to deserve his fate.
I asked kaiser on a stream once and he said Frog Ginyu was weak enough to cleaned by the soul scrubber so I guess he's just one of those blob ghosts now.

@@slaplist8377 Super Kami Guru is a Namekian, so that makes him being Straight hard to determine. They reproduce asexually (hey, like Cui), but do have romantic relationships with each other enough for Super Kami Guru to joke about Neil making out with a boyfriend. I’d leave him out of that count, personally.
Zarbon is also stated to have had a girlfriend in tfs continuity, so he could be straight as well. Being feminine and admiring attractive people doesn't make one gay or even bi for that matter.
Dodoria probably is straight, too, but is just absolutely a top and, well, given her options I don't know if she'd go for anyone in HFIL. We frankly just don't have any information on her in that regard.
