Ginyu Force: " Don't make us fold you."
Cell:" I'm literally made out of The guy that hired you, the guy that beat you, and the guy that killed you. Try me."
Bruh . . .
So...Freeza, Goku/Vegeta, and Vegeta
Honestly this would've been an amazing line to add to the episode
@@ej8476 And also gohan and Piccolo...
Since they also punched him..
@@ej8476 The guy that them was Goku but yes. You got it right. That is just about it.
I just realized. The fact that Cell said "the greatest warriors in the galaxy and also Vegeta" means that he recognizes Krillin as a warrior.
He recognized Krillin as such when he was getting his ass whooped by a Cell Jr.
Cell is actually pretty respectful towards the human Z Fighters, except for Tien
@@smolgobbo3826 And that's still respect, just in a different way. Was the only normal to put a dent in him. And if they would have just pumped him full of senszu beens theoretically Tien could have held him their forever till they had a good way to kill him.
He respects Tien in the same way you respect some that bodies you in a fighting game. "You beat me and I HATE that!"
The man ALWAYS shows up to fight the big bad guy. IT takes some balls to do that when you can't turn super saiyan or even use kaioken. It's why he was so mad at gohan in DBZA because even yamcah was throwing hands with the cell Jrs.
And to top it off he sees krillin as a greater warrior than vegeta😂
I can’t wait until Cell eventually founds out Raditz is Goku’s brother.
He would know. Gero observed the battle against the Saiyans

King Cold was in Broly though. Sure it's not much, but at least they remembered he existed.

After Guldo’s speech about how Frog Ginyu and the others are his friends, I fully expected what Burter to say to be, “Guldo… We aren’t your friends.”

It feels like too obvious of a joke at this point in TFS's career... but I was thinking it too.
Same.
OMG same !!!
But I was very glad they didn't and went all the way through the wholesome route here
Yeah, me too. But I guess they were going for a sincere moment.
Kept trying to figure out why Cell looked so weird in his self-destruct form. Then it hit me: we’re used to seeing that in Semi-Perfect!
My question is if he self explodes and blows up he would ve blown to pieces so... No power lowering ancle bracelet cell could escape
@@danielgonzalez-vm5lj He said that he was bluffing, so it's not a solution. He most likely needs to channel Ki to do it
@@casperfriendly6478 See i got the impression that he was lying about bluffing to make it seem a bit less insane that he was perfectly willing to blow up hell.
@@Sdogofdoom I feel like if he could actually do it and escape the bracelet in the process then he would have already done that. Unless he’s keeping it as some kind of emergency backup plan
@@danielgonzalez-vm5lj I assume he need to at least use some Ki to do it.
He doesn't have an actual bomb planted in him like the Android does so...
Love how it plays the "fastest in the universe" shtick by having Burter attack first and have him cross the distance in less than a blink.
Not only cross but got behind him.
There's an explanation for burter incessant insistence that he is the fastest in the universe, apparently his mother force him to buy the food and if he got late he would get the belt
This was reveled in a DBZ game don't remember Wich one
@@fcomolineiro7596 It was revealed in some magazine or some shit initially, but that sounds like it'd be in Kakarot.
It's nice that he finally got to be the fastest when ki stopped being a factor
Burter really is the fastest when you take power levels out of the equation.
This is a small thing, but I just realized that TFS and DevilArtemis actually hinted that the Ginyu Force was in fact innocent of the trash bin prank despite being responsible for all the others. Obviously, we were supposed to assume it was them until Burter told Cell that that one wasn't them, but a small hint was left in the episode that Freeza was in fact responsible for that one.
First, remember the Chore Wheel gag from 5? Freeza made it clear he didn't do chores, simply cowed Zarbon into doing them... Yet he was outside with Zarbon putting the trash out earlier. Why would that have been the case, unless he was waiting to see Cell's trash bin collapse?
There's literally no one else that would do that except Freeza and the Ginyu Force.
@@1hyugaclan1 Indeed, but it was a subtle hint that it wasn't the Ginyus.
@@ronaldolson6553 it was deductive reasoning. If the Ginyu Force didn't do it then the only person/s left were Freeza and his group.
@@1hyugaclan1 Yeah, I meant it was a small hint for us viewers before the Ginyus said it was not them.

This just shows that even without Ki, Cell is still superior to most fighters. Being a Bio-Android really has it perks.
Gotta love the Only fans bot
Not just any bio-android--a bio-android custom-made from the genetics of Earth's best fighters. Dude's actually got the jackpot.
@@ReconHunter101 Also Vegeta.
If you think about it, he's kinda-sorta-not-really Vegito/Gogeta plus a bunch of other stuff. Of course he's the best technical fighter in their universe.
Thanks to his biology!
Thanks dads!
It’s interesting that Guldo is technically the most powerful member of the Ginyu force in HFIL (maybe the most powerful inmate in general) simply because his powers aren’t Ki based and he still has access to them.
Adding to that, since they're all already dead, and no longer need food or air... Guldo's time-stop technically has no functional time-limit to it.
@@AnonEcho98 True… but it *would* be painful…
@@AnonEcho98 yet somehow he is out of breath after using time stop. Perhaps only passing out and death from lack of oxygen was removed
@@AnonEcho98 sorta, seems like he still needs to breath, even if it is psychological or something, so unfortunately it sorta still has.
Mayyybe if he could train to ignore the pain of lacking air or whatever he feels, then yeah, infinite time stop
@@Nero_Eclipse the biological imperative to breath is a tough impulse to break so guldo would still feel the need to breath but it could be ignored safely
I love how Lani’s Raditz voice is just his normal voice, it fits really well for some reason.
It's also how in the first episode he was supposed to be raditz but he got blocked from that and went to voice vegeta
He's been there the longest and got chilled out, it makes sense.
I was NOT expecting a massive fight between the surviving Ginyus and Cell but WOW was that fantastic
what do you mean "surviving?"
Well, the real Ginyu’s soul has been scrubbed on account of inhabiting a weak Namekian frog, while these dudes have power levels too high. They survived the soul-scrubber since they’re in strong enough bodies.
You mean the Ginyus who didn’t survive
555 like
Bet 50 Raditz he reincarnates as Tagoma.
I was actually wishing the frog had legitimately been responsible for all those atrocities, like everything Ginyu had ever done didn't begin to compare to what the frog had committed.

It did clogg the soul scrubber actually
I was hoping that he eat all the other frogs on planet Namek. Genocide.

-Regurgitates the Captains broken mortal form
-Doesn't elaborate
-Leaves
Guru doesn't leave, he simply lowered the door back down without breaking eye-contact.
He also has canonically caused a worldwide drought and subsequently genocided the entirety of the albino Namekians to cover him drinking all the water.
Don't forget that in Team Four Star canon, Guru is so far the most evil character...well, maybe below frieza, hard to say. Pfft, imagine the two of them getting into a battle of who could commit the most evil act possible within pg-13 standards, "otherwise, we'd just murder everyone in a sickening display of dominance"

He just gets throught the soul thingy in the end of the episode
I dont think we will see him ever again
@@axl256gamesx7 fair enough but I still hope to see it
It also shows that they’re actually a team. The way the Ginyus worked together against Cell was actually impressive, setting each other up to best use their strengths: Burter speeding in (with a Guldo assist) to try and distract Cell enough to set up Recoome (the only one that’s shown enough strength to potentially match Cell-as seen in the Dodgeball game). Even if Cell wiped the floor with them in the end, it made for a good fight and you could tell Cell was actually *trying* and not just showing off.
Plus I just realized that this was the best fight Cell’s had since his fight with Goku in the Cell Games. Every other battle he’s fought to this point was a curbstomp, either to someone else (Trunks/Vegeta) or himself (Gohan). That probably explains the sudden ramp up in respect between all sides once Cell gives Frog Ginyu back.

7:02 - this put a smile on my face
This does raise the question. How come he wasn't in HFIL before Cell showed up? Where was he all this time? And what happened to Qui, how come he isn't in HFIL anymore?
Sooner or later we’re gonna need to learn the whole story regarding the jock strap incident because all I can guess it has to do with dead bodies, Frieza, King Cold, the ginyu force and a hasty exit
Also a red ball, as mentioned by Frieza in the dodgeball episode of HFIL
To be honest, the only thing not on brand for the whole group is a hasty exit.
And Vegeta
We’re never gonna know what it is. Nothing they reveal could live up to our own expectations.
I have a theory that it involves The elasticity of the armor not… Cooperating properly and resulting in… Crushed jewels… this would explain the big red ball, it being fatal would result in having to dig the bodies I don’t know what the fuck getting boxed in would mean but ya know.
Calling it now, Raditz and Dedoria are a thing, unironically

A pure, no ki, brawl for Dragon Ball characters? That's even more impressive than Devil Artemis' growth as an animator.
Given his humor, I was actually _very_ impressed with the fight scene. As an animator myself, I have to respect the work he put in- and man, that long wait time *definitely* makes sense now.
If I'm not mistaken (possible spoilers):
I hear that goku and vegeta had one in the newest movie
Old DB was full of it.. it's NICE to see just a good scrap.
Wow I got kind of teary eyed at Guldo’s speech. The Ginyu Force has more comradarie than most of the Z fighters do.

fanboys keep calling Vegeta a badass, but the truth is, his badass moments are usually followed by his b*tch-ass moments. He always has a cool entrance and dominates the minor villains, just to get smacked by the main villains.
Well, I guess the “frog arc” is now over, and thus the Freiza arc begins again. Remember, the Ginyus never sabotaged Cell’s trash, and Freiza was the one mocking him about it. So, now that Cold is here….

I love how Guldo not only stood up for the frog captain, but also HIMSELF, showing he's grown a real backbone ever since he threw the Dodgeball match. There he showed signs, but its here where he fully grows into it. And even then, despite him being treated like the butt-monkey of the force, he still considers them as friends. And unlike before like in the sharing circle where Jeice immediately was like "and us!" afterwards when Guldo said he was killed in front of his friends, no one contradicted him this time. I think by standing up for the frog and himself, as well as being key for all the pranks in the last episode (minus the trashbin), he's finally earned their respect.

Is it just me, or Cell- if he wasn't a homicidal monster- would be friends with people like Raditz and Yamcha? Guy is literally only one, who does not dis them constantly for being weak
The humor in this series never fails to make me laugh. Also, I was not expecting that ending, and now I'm wondering what's going to happen in the next episode. Side note, who else loved Guldo's "I'm talking, you're listening" moment? Nice to see the little guy stand up for himself.
I was expecting his brother
Right? Fucking took him long enough.
Recoom: "The ginyu force does not negotiate."
Guldo: "Well that explains our salary."
"The Ginyu Force does not negotiate."
"That explains our salary"
😂
Now hold on i dont think the frog is INNOCENT, it DID clog the soul scrubber.
This continues to be a shockingly good standalone series... magnificently scripted, voiced, and animated, it started strong and somehow feels like it's getting better and better with each release. Supremely enjoyable and a pleasant surprise whenever I see a new episode pop up. Also, while I'd watch to the end of the video as a show of support regardless, y'all do such a fantastic job with your ads... great sketches in and of themselves, and while I've seen a TON of "hey we're sponsored by Raycon" in videos, this is the first time I've actually been motivated to click the link and actually check them out.
Couldn’t have put it better, I have
Well said, person on the internet.
My thumb agrees.
And so do I.
That fight scene in the beginning though, that was really intense. Best episode so far, although it has too little views for how good it is, TFS should title it as DBZA or something similar not just HFIL
No this was garbage
@@joshuahall4488 no u
Could it be that King Cold was such an effective ruler he was able to negotiate his way into a managerial position in the afterlife? It sounds like he might be Goz and Mez’s supervisor.
I mean, he is a haggler...
He doesn’t have a ankle bracelet so maybe he is
Absolutely that's what happened. He was smart enough to weasle his way out of hfil and go into a position of authority lol
I think he's Yemma's secretary, the person he yelled at about the code orange in hfil one
Or it's that he's already a chill guy, so he didn't need therapy (zing!)
I love when king Yama goes over ginyu's rap sheet, the frog just smiles the entire time. 😂
Cell and Raditz are a duo I never imagined before, but I really like their interactions in this series.
You know what's really great about this series? Character development. The Ginyu Force are learning unconditional love, Cell is learning how to trust people (especially considering Radditz is Goku's brother), and even Frieza is noticing what happens when you treat others with respect.
I honestly can't believe how well written this series is so far.
Does cell know radditz is goku's brother?
@@wicked.a950 in the abridged cannon he does, when Cell is telling his tale to the reporter he goes through the entire dragonball timeline leading up to his standing in the #cellgames arena. Including the fact that, Radditz does.
In the original dragonball timeline? No idea.
@@wicked.a950 Well, Cell does seem to have the memories of all the people who he has DNA of. Hence is how he was able to tell the reporter about the whole Dragon Ball and DBZ timeline, and how he knows that Vegeta's son, Trunks, is the 1 who killed Frieza.
Frieza is gonna have to had family issues with his father and his brother
And Guru is still Guru
1. Nicely done showing that combat skill is still a factor even without Ki, that's a rare thing to see in dragonball fanfiction - written, drawn or video.
2. I love the fact that Radditz straight-up said what he was doing and NO ONE believes him.
3. I was wondering when this particular character would get brought in. Now, the real question is how is Cell going to milk this for all it's worth? Because we all know that this character won't be quiet about his presence in the cul de sac.
neither is frieza
Or maybe raditz was talking to bardok…wait, that wouldn’t make sense 🤔
One word Cell needs to hear. "Princess"
@@maxxsbrother2 I can picture it now. Also, since Cell does have DNA from both Freeza and King Cold, does that make him mildly incestuous?
Well Cell is *technically* related to the Cold Family and could try to be the “son” to King Cold that Frieza could never be.
The fact that they animated jeice getting punch in the face is so worth the pay off, though i wish it was more brutal
I think the Soul Scrubber is supposed to send your soul for Reincarnation, by clogging it, they mean that it won't properly scrub their memories and send them back out. Only reason Radits failed to reincarnate was his soul had too much hair and got stuck.
"Oh so thats where they live."
For whatever reason, that made me break down in hysterics.
I think it’s to poke fun at Artemis for not animating their house until episode 6
Love what they are doing now . . The freedom to actually have the characters move the way they want and not have to work around the animation!! This is where TFS will truly shine
No kidding. Also, I totally believe that Raditz is banging Dodoria.
its true, but i found guru way funnier when he was stoic and barely moved or smiled. aside from that its great
and honestly, thats my only real issue with HFIL at all, really. devilartemis's style works super well for this series
@@MSCDonkeyKong, I like that Guru gets to be a more dynamic character. When he coughed up Frogyu, I swear, I could feel my balls in my lungs. That was legitimately disturbing with him pulling a Kronos by imprisoning Frogyu in his stomach.
The funny thing is, Guldo was the literally the only one to lay a hand on Cell in that fight. Not that it amounted to much.
My headcanon now is that Raditz is *totally* banging Dodoria, but they're both banking on the fact that it sounds so ridiculous no one will ever believe it. XD
Yay, internal consistency with the lore they created, because they killed Ginyu in the abridged version.
You missed the after credit
@@Mr.Yeast2 they directly addressed it, saying they stuck to the internal consistency of Vegeta killing the frog in DBZA, and thus he was sent to otherworld.
"I've got 150 years of accumulated experience from the greatest warriors in the galaxy... also Vegeta." Is simultaneously one of Cell's slyest roasts and scariest truths to date.
Edit: I also just realized in the thumbnail, Cell is as smug as Anya Forger herself and I could not be happier.
Lets see 27years from Goku 28 from Krillin over 30 from freezer ??? From king Cold 32 from Vegeta 7 from piccolo 2 from Gohan ( the data was taken before the 3 year time skip ) Huh he does have over 150 years of experience
@@danielgonzalez-vm5lj also there's a chance he had DNA from tenshinhan and some others that were considered big deals by the time the little robot was collecting data, Yamcha wasn't relevant since the beggining of DB so I can see the robobug not taking any of him lol
@@Drip_Wooper - Tien wasn't confirmed in DBZA canon though? I think Daniel was just listing the ones confirmed in the manga (Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Freeza and King Cold) + the extra ones confirmed in DBZA canon (Gohan and Krillin).
@@randallflagg3700 Wasn't there a line where Krillin (I think) said "... it feels like everyone we know is fighting out there. Well, except for Yamcha..." Implying that he does have Tien DNA.
He also killed Trunks with a oversized Dodon Ray. Also the Multi Form was originally a Tien thing.
I really love how even though they cant use ki to boost themselves, everyone in hfil is still abnornally strong and/or fast
I just realized Goz wasn't mad when he said, "BECAUSE YOU ARE A BUG AND GINYU IS A FROG" he was just yelling because they were yelling
More like annoyed since they are breaking rules and any hillbilly with a shotgun can tell that Ginyu is a frog as opposed to being in some sort of traumatic state.
I never thought we’d get a fight scene in this series. It looked really good too.
Fun fact Devil Artemis also works on death battle
@@emperorjoker9240, and his work is fantastic!
@time to leave earth bot shut up
Proving Cell is still the strongest without his ki only to immediately throw in King Cold to possibly challenge that is awesome, cant wait for the next episode.
Ain't part of Cells DNA also King Cold's?
@@Sky_Firez yes
Isn't Frieza already stronger than cold?
ain’t no way you think king cold might be able to challenge cell. future trunks one-shotted him in his first appearance 😭
@@esra-5260 King Cold is huge. In a land without ki, size matters.
For a group of genocidial mercenaries...it's sweet how the Ginyu Force treat Guldo with a lot more respect after this point.
5:06
Vegeta: PSYCH! Eight for eight (squish!)
Goku, Gohan, and Krillin: Awwwww!!!!!
"the Murder...The Pillaging, And the Jockstrap Incident!!!"
I love call backs to Noodle incidents like this!
Seriously though, what in God's good name was the jockstrap incident?
The jockstrap incident is considered worse or on par with murder and pillaging
Good god what was the jockstrap incident?!
The more they reference it the more I want to know what happened lol
Then a plane crashes and we never get to know.
Because, for all we know, they don't even know.
All I know is ended up with some bodies buried
@@chadboyle4107 that's why I said that we NEED a hfil episode where Frieza tells everyone the harrowing horrors of the jockstrap incident! If this incident can make the crimes of the man behind the slaughter look like a birthday party ( like if you get the reference 😉 ), then I am both terrified and curious to finally learn about it!
The dynamic in the Ginyu force is so wholesome.
Despite being the bad guys they seem like bosom buddies and like to hang with each other outside of work.
Except for guldo
Bad guys? Lol it’s just a job mate lol you shouldn’t categorise people buy their line of work lol
@@phil56892 I mean assisting in genocide puts you squarely in the box of bad guys.
@@nikeshmistry99 It's either that or be genocide along with the others under Frizas foot.
ha bosom
It's story telling like this that makes me really respect tfs's character development. Most of these guys were at best throw away characters in the actual show but the abridged series came along and made them all so unique and memorable. And now we've got a whole spin off series chalked full of quality moments.
DevilArtemis is so good at humor and voices that it's easy to forget how good they are at action too.
That blink transition with Burter was BUTTERY FUCKIN SMOOTH.
wonderful pun
BUTTER! That'll go great on my grand slam!
I never thought I’ll be able to see Cell using his self destruct feature, in his perfect form… 😐
Also, now we know he can turn it off.
8:14 When the truth is so absurd you can just tell people with a straight face and they think you're deflecting with sarcasm
They may not be able to use energy, but in terms of RAW physical prowess, Cell is PERFECT.
Second only to Freeza it seems; Cell is consistently beaten by him whenever they come to blows.
@@TheBlackLobo Doesn't Frieza always start it and then end it really quick? Like in the first episode when he just choked him out with his tail, so i think he just catches Cell off-guard
@@mist0804 Still better than the frog followers managed. Despite having access to time manipulation.
