I've owned 220cdi AMG Sports Plus since new in 2012 , it's now 120k miles up .My alloy wheels and trim are different ( not leather). It has the auto/paddle shift gearbox which is delight and it still drives like new . Returns 44-48 mpg between tankfills and often returns 60mpg+ on a motorway run @ 70mph . Apart from servicing /consumbles /oil filter change etc every 10-12k miles the only additional expense i've had is a clock spring failure at 90k miles which was replaced fairly cheaply by my local Merc Indy. p.s the becker sat nav is a pos and i use google maps on my phone ;)
Nice motor . i have the C 250 SW 2013 model and love it . Refined , comfortable enough to do a cross Europe 12 hour cruise stress free and fast enough to get about town . My only gripes are the thing you mentioned about having no memory seats ( not that i let anyone else drive though ) and the fact it is so comfortable that on long drives ( 7 hours autoroute ) I get slightly bored as the only thing to do is play with the music controls as i gracefully cruise along . I love mine , baptised "Marco"
I own a similar car. Mine is a 2009 C200 Sport CDI with slightly more miles (216K at the time of writing) and a 6-speed manual gearbox. I don't mind the manual as my daily driver (2003 Volvo XC90) has an auto. I reckon the W204 is one of the best modern Mercs and is definitely the best C-Class. My only real gripe is the lack of cruise control.
I have a manual 2012 c220, 2.1 tuned to 500nm torque... its incredible. the manual kick down beats an auto every time. compare it to a 320d i guess but the c220 just looks class.
@@yargc9641 You have them in 163hp too, mine is a S204 C220 CDI Estate BlueEfficiency with the OM651 2.1l engine with 163hp... Both have 400NM just 7hp difference.. ;)
just bought one. yet to drive. pick up on friday 1st. cant wait

I have the exact same car but with the C250 CDI 204hp engine. Love it!

Thanks for sharing, yes memory seats are a pain!

It's classic indeed, I'll one of this machine
Which to buy gasoline or diesel..which engine? 1.8 with 184 hp or 2.1 with 163 hp
2.1 is not 163 hp , its 170 hp
