I have been buying Thrive Life for about six months now, because of the ideas you have shared! This has changed how I cook! I never need to toss out produce because I didn’t use it on time, so am actually buying what I use and using what I buy, never wasting unused food items, with a little experimenting I have figured out how much of everything to rehydrate and nothing goes to waste! Because I now cook 95% of my meals, they are much healthier then always buying out I have lost 45 lbs in about five months. Thank you for sharing Thrive Life experience, not just for long term storage but daily use.

I have shared this comment with some of the executives at Thrive Life. They absolutely love it! They would like your permission to use this testimonial for some of their corporate advertising. (If that's okay, they were hoping to get your first name and last initial. If you don't want to give that here, you can email me your response at billk@kelleremail.com) We would really appreciate it!

I love thrive life because I am single. I don't waste anything and I always have it right there for me. I am going to try this meatloaf because it looks soooo good. I was a consultant for a while, but I am not a salesman. lol But I use the product all the time. It is expensive, but I tell you, it goes a long way and it's totally worth it. So happy I found you guys.

If you thrift shop for pans that overlap your burners by half an inch all around, you will save energy and the food will cook better. Make sure they are very think bottomed and you can simmer for long periods without scorching. It took me a couple of years but I found a lovely pot for each burner and even a large and medium stock pot too.

I still make my meatloaf but I do one thing different you might want to try I use a muffin pan and make mini meatloaf. You can pop it in the oven and have it quicker rather than have leftover sitting around of course leftovers are good. It also helps me not overeat the amount of proteins I should have in a day. Thank you again glad to see you're up I hope you are feeling better 🙏🙌💕💯

So cute. Such a nice story about rediscovering your meatloaf recipe. It’s totally understandable that you are protective of and want to take proper care of your gorgeous counter tops, but I had thought that one of the draws of granite is that it is mostly indestructible, unlike the regular laminate kind that have to be babied to last. Thanks for sharing.

That looks so good! Here's a chef's tip: add about 1 tsp or so of vinegar to the piquant sauce. Like the mustard, be careful cause it will dominate if you add too much. But boy oh boy does it give it that special something, something to the sauce! I have also used dry mustard too.
Hugs, love and blessings to you two ♥️

Great for those who have little ones who don't like vegies. Never throw out any crumbs/powder from thrive foods, there is a use for it all!

Elizabeth, as a diabetic, I use alternative sweeteners all the time and I have found a sweetener that I can use for all my baking called Swerve. it is made with erythretol (hope I’m spelling that right). It is a natural sweetener that doesn’t raise my blood sugar level. It comes in confectioner’s, granualated and a brown sugar version. I have tried monkfruit (in my journey to find an alternative sweetener that suits my tastes) and I find it to be too sweet to me. There is no aftertaste to Swerve, although if you use the granulated for baking, I would suggest that you put it in a grinder first because after baking, it tends to crystallize and has a crunchy taste. The grinding helps to eliminate that. But the brown sugar version is great if you want to go back to using brown sugar in your sauce. Your recipe looks great and I have tried a couple of your recipes before and loved them. You and Bill take care and stay safe.

The wife and I watched this yesterday and we were both intrigued. We have been stocking up on Thrive Life as an emergency prep but still eating from our garden. We recently opened our first pantry can of mushrooms (shortage in the stores) and I'll admit I was dismayed to see powdery bits on the bottom. What a nice surprise to see those bits have their own special use! Guess what we're having tonight.😉

This original meatloaf with piquant sauce is delicious! Thank God for Betty Crocker! That was a dependable source for me to check when Mom wasn't here. All my cookies were Betty Crockers Cookie book, along with a few handfulls of family favorites passed down, pizzelles, Lady horns. The only thing I added to my meatloaf different than yours was grated carrot. Every month on a Sunday I made this very meat loaf with piquant sauce. 39 years. My Husband & I had sandwiches out of it the rest of the week. (Actually that night & a day or two.) Thank you for showing how using Thrive into a regular meal. Wonder if you could use the TL tomato powder with a tad bit more of the monk fruit to make a ketchup substitute. Might have to add a teeny splash of ACV to round out that flavor profile….but, it may be a good sub if you don’t have ketchup. The meatloaf looks amazing. I’m definitely going to give this a try. Love the idea of making a dry meatloaf mix for ease. Will make up a couple zippy bags for down the road!

    • @jstreutker

The two secret ingredients of ketchup are caramelized onions and monosodium glutamate (MSG). In a substitute, I would completely avoid the MSG. You could use the raw diced onion, but caramelizing it is far nicer--but a lot of time! Plus pick a sweetener of your choice instead of sugar. There's already a lot of sweetness packed in the tomato powder.

Elizabeth, you might want to try using ground Lamb (rather than ground Beef) for your meatloaf. I would say at least for your first try avoid putting the sauce on top, I think that would be too over-powering for the lamb... but try it without at first so you can see what you'd want to tweak or add. Me personally, I just use one egg, onions, bread crumbs or Triscuit crackers and that's it, it's perfect like that. Most people never think to use Lamb for meatloaf, they have no idea what they're missing. It's so good that I never use Beef for meatloaf any longer. Try it and let me know what you think.

I cant wait to join! I have neuropathy in my hands and feet which make it very difficult to not only cut things up but to stand to cook a large meal. I can’t feel my hands, and that is necessary so that you don’t cut your finger, which I have done. Also the standing on my feet is very painful and I am limited to how long I can’t stand on them. These are the main reasons I want to join other than the shelf life. Waiting for the right time. Hugs and love y’all!

Elizabeth, I think you need some silicone or wooden spoons and spatulas because you'll scrape the surface of those lovely Pioneer Woman things using metal spoons and forks on them and, actually, the scraping sound is amplified by the video! Maybe also get a thin bamboo or plastic table mat to set your dishes on during prep, so you needn't worry about the granite worktop. Your meatloaf looked nice but I would want mash and gravy! Thank you for another lovely video x

Thrive used to offer a Green and Red Pepper Mix of finely chopped peppers. I bought a case of 12 and that’s what I use in my meatloaf.

Yes, we love that pepper mix. But it was discontinued several years ago. We stocked up on it as well!
